Expose On The D.C. Episcopals

If it wasn’t official before, the D.C. Diocese of the Episcopal Church is in full, feminist-fueled rebellion against Almighty God.

The Episcopal church in the Diocese of Washington, D.C., passed a resolution last week to stop using masculine pronouns for God in future updates to its Book of Common Prayer.

.Over the centuries our language and our understanding of God has continued to change and adapt,. the drafters of the resolution stated. The drafters said that referring to God using masculine pronouns is to “limit our understanding of God.”

“By expanding our language for God, we will expand our image of God and the nature of God,” they stated.

But Clergy delegate The Rev. Linda R. Calkins from St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Laytonsville, Maryland, challenged the delegates to go further.

Calkins read from Genesis Chapter 17, in which God tells Abraham .I am El Shaddai.” She said that if Episcopalians “are going to be true to what El Shaddai means, it means God with breasts..

.Having studied much feminist theology in my masters. degrees, I wrote a thesis on liberation and freedom and non-equality in feminist theology and existential counseling,. Calkins told the delegates, as reported by The Institute On Religion & Democracy.

Unholy succubi, Batman! She’s trying to alter God’s nature by changing the words used to describe God’s nature. I’ve blogged before about the uneasy association between women and reality but this is the same as claiming the Author of Life is a social construct.

They blaspheme the name of Christ. Let’s see what we can expose with this convenient PDF they published. I archived it on my site because future generations need to see exactly what we’re complaining about.

Buckle up.

Beginning on Page 12, we have a photo directory of the Diocese’s fresh blood. The count is… 32 men and 6 women. Wow, that’s not at all what I was expecting. Wigs seem to be the fashion in D.C., though. Hang on… wait… FFS, these are women?

Oops, one of them is male. Guess which? Yeah, it seems like all this transgendering is nothing but women turning themselves into men in defiance of DNA. They should call it retrogendering.

Actual count is 12 men, 26 women. I think.

Moving on to finances on page 34, the diocese is in the black. A full 30% of diocese income is a “1973 Ruth Soper Fund”. A quick Net search turned up a very interesting article:

http://www.virtueonline.org/diocese-washington-gains-control-mrs-soper%E2%80%99s-millions

When the Diocese of Washington became short of money in [about 1999], the administration began to use interest from the Soper Trust for its operating costs. Within the diocese, numerous arguments and resolutions came out of the internal conflict over the Soper Trust, including a successful 2002 convention vote requesting that the administration of the diocese cease from using her money for operating costs and use it only for direct ministries to help suffering humanity.

Diocesan officials continued its practice of using the Soper money for operating expenses. Then in 2010 without making this information known publicly to the General Convention of the Diocese of Washington, officials quietly initiated the lawsuit to end the Soper Trust. …

So this long saga, beginning with Mrs. Soper’s generous contributions to many charities, ended sadly. In 1967 when designing her will, Ruth Gregory Soper believed that her money and its ensuing legacy be supervised by a bank she trusted, Riggs Bank and its successor, PNC Bank. The Maryland Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler seemed to consider the Soper Trust almost inconsequential and refused to help preserve this over 40-year-old trust.

As the trustee, PNC struggled to honor Mrs. Soper’s wishes, yet their lawyers lost the war following court decisions. A second trustee, Thomas D. Murphy, took the lead of the Soper Trust and, in less than two weeks, allowed the entire trust to be terminated and the money turned over to the financially strapped Episcopal Diocese of Washington.

That’s some dirty pool, there. I wonder how many other converged churches are quietly making money grabs… and timing the money to die when they do. The D.C. diocese is timing the Soper fund to run out in 20 years per footnotes on page 43.

Skipping ahead to Resolution #1 -On Becoming a Sanctuary Diocese, page 93:

Resolved, that the people of the Diocese of Washington, as disciples of Jesus Christ and persons of faith and conscience, take seriously the biblical mandate not to wrong or oppress the alien in our midst, and in faithfulness to our Baptismal Covenant, oppose the policies of the incumbent Executive Branch that target undocumented immigrants for deportation while also placing undue restrictions on refugees seeking safe haven in the U.S…

Hey, it’s Trump Derangement Syndrome! TDS sufferers, did you know it’s illegal to oppose Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts? It’s “8 U.S. Code ? 1324 – Bringing in and harboring certain aliens” and punishable by up to 5 years per illegal alien.

Dear God, there is no bottom to the immigration war. No words to explain it with. I used to think it was misguided altruism but that doesn’t begin to explain the furor and intensity with which the SJWs want to flood the West with vibrants.

Resolution #2 – On Inclusion of Transgendered People

Resolved, that Th e Episcopal Diocese of Washington affirms that all transgender people, and anyone whose gender identity and expression differs from that assigned at birth, are beloved children of God…

“Assigned at birth” means freaking DNA. Gender is not a social construct because YOU CAN SEE IT UNDER A MICROSCOPE!

and be it further Resolved, that The Episcopal Diocese of Washington support educational, pastoral, liturgical, and legislative efforts that seek to end the systemic violence against transgender people, calling special attention to the rise in violence against transgender women of color;

What systematic violence? My ancestors let you take over the government, the Church, the courts and the working world, and today men like me hide for our own safety. I hear UK police chiefs are giving you cry rooms and menopause leave. Oh, right. It’s a microscope thing.

and be it further Resolved, that the Episcopal Diocese of Washington encourage all parishes to remove all obstacles to full participation in congregational life by making all gender-specific facilities and activities fully accessible, regardless of gender identity and expression.

Two words: children’s bathrooms.

Resolution #3 – On the Gendered Language for God

Covered above.

  1. Every time I think I’ve seen peak-clownworld, shit like this manages to impress me further. This is truly some batshit-insane skullduggery, and I’m glad you’ve illustrated it.

The Episcopal Church was reconstructed in the American colonies by Ben Franklin, who uttered the words: “if you can keep it…” His implicit question is daily being answered.

  2. Did not know about the Soper money. Am not shocked. These activists will destroy the work fo the previous generations for a bowl of porridge.

  3. .Having studied much feminist theology in my masters. degrees, I wrote a thesis on liberation and freedom and non-equality in feminist theology and existential counseling,. Calkins told the delegates, as reported by The Institute On Religion & Democracy.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…you can’t be a feminist and a Christian.
