Cutting eyelids is the first & worst red flag. That’s the Western form of the warning. I have since learned that in Chinese face reading, the telltale is “New Moon” eyes; either the upper eyelids are concave and the lower convex, or vice versa. Either way, defenses up!

Low ears and disordered hair also indicate antisocial tendencies. Rounded eyebrows and large lips indicates emotional mindset rather than rational mindset. Large nose indicates high energy level. Decent chin paired with frail body build suggests too much time online. Problem glasses… I’m trying to recall the last time I saw a pair of glasses that weren’t Problem, like aviator glasses or wraparounds. Been awhile. This could be the textbook physiognomy of an SJW.

The first thing I noticed is what a useful tool this Form 497 filing requirement could be for my own researches. Second, In-N-Out donated $25k to the Republican Party… and that’s the only entry. In-N-Out has never done anything except this one-time event? And third, the date: August 28. Gabe posted it on August 29. Occam’s Razor says Gabe searches this database daily for dirt on potential targets.

Hence my midwit accusation; Gabe would have done better to wait & see if the defunding trend continued.

While the nearest locations of the burger joint to Alabama are currently in the heart of Texas, Williams is encouraging that to change.

Lankford.s claim received coverage in hundreds of news stories all over the world. It still gets regular coverage. Purporting to cover all mass public shootings around the world from 1966 to 2012, Lankford claimed that the United States had 31 percent of public mass shooters despite having less than 5 percent of the population.

But this isn’t nearly correct. The whole episode should provide a cautionary tale of academic malpractice and how evidence is often cherry-picked and not questioned when it fits preconceived ideas. …

A new report from the Crime Prevention Research Center, which one of us heads, has just finished collecting cases using the same definition of mass public shootings used by Lankford. …

Lankford.s data grossly undercount foreign attacks. We found 1,423 attacks outside the United States. Looking at just a third of the time Lankford studied, we still found 15 times as many shooters.

Even when we use coding choices that are most charitable to Lankford, such as excluding any cases of insurgencies or battles over territory, his estimate of the US share of shooters falls from 31 percent to 1.43 percent. It also accounts for 2.1 percent of murders, and 2.88 percent of their attacks. All these are much less than the United States. 4.6 percent share of the population.

Of the 86 countries where we have identified mass public shootings, the US ranks 56th per capita in its rate of attacks and 61st in mass public shooting murder rate. Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Russia all have at least 45 percent higher rates of murder from mass public shootings than the United States.

Norway, for pity’s sake! These clowns have no shame.

Ammosexual is a great idea. If I’m sexually oriented towards firearms then all those sexual orientation protection laws can be used in place of the Second Amendment, should the need arise. The Taos Judges Who Pardoned Terrorists

Treacherous judge Susan Backus turns out to not be the worst offender in the Muslim terrorist incident in Taos County, New Mexico. From Fox News:

District Judge Emilio Chavez on Wednesday dismissed charges against three of the five defendants — Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj — ruling that authorities violated the state’s .10-day rule..

Child abuse charges against them were dropped because prosecutors missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause.

During a separate hearing Wednesday, Judge Jeff McElroy dismissed the same charges against fellow defendants, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Jany Leveille. However, charges leveled against them on Friday, in connection to the death of a missing 3-year-old boy, remained.

Note, McElroy was on the case because Backus recused herself. Not remarkable given the number of death threats she’d been reportedly getting.

And the compound has already been bulldozed. That’s too fast. No prosecution or legal defense has yet been confirmed for the trial and surely they would want to see the place for themselves? Not that there’s going to be a trial, apparently, but how did authorities know that two weeks prior? For demolition details:

The New Mexico Supreme Court on Wednesday reprimanded a state district attorney and a prosecutor-turned-judge for their misuse of subpoena power.

The disciplinary cases against 8th Judicial District Attorney Donald Gallegos of Taos and former prosecutor Emilio Chavez stem from 94 subpoenas Chavez issued in 2012 and 2013 without the approval of a judge or grand jury to gather information in criminal investigations before charges were filed. …

Chief Disciplinary Counsel William D. Slease told justices Wednesday that the District Attorney’s Office issued the subpoenas in question to cellular telephone service providers, the state’s child welfare agency and an electric utility during the course of several criminal investigations.

.What we have is a direct abuse of subpoena power,. Slease said.

Such subpoenas were used to identify suspects in an armed robbery at an electric cooperative in Taos on April 10, 2013, but attorneys representing the suspects objected to the practice.

Quashing the indictment of one suspect, a district judge ruled Chavez “had no reasonable basis in law” to issue the subpoenas.

That is deadly serious. As a prosecutor, Chavez illegally issued subpoenas and as a direct result, criminal indictments had to be thrown out along with the tainted evidence? How does this guy still have a gov’t job?

The disciplinary case resulted in two separate panels issuing conflicting findings and recommendations for the two men . one calling for dismissal of the charges and another recommending reprimanding Gallegos and censuring Chavez. …

Attorneys representing Chavez and Gallegos previously argued that the use of subpoenas by prosecutors during investigations, such as the probe into the co-op robbery, is a legal gray area.

Vigil said the court was “impressed by the lack of any bad motive” by Gallegos and Chavez.

But the justices determined both men had violated the rule of professional procedure for attorneys that prohibits the use of “methods to obtain evidence that violates the legal rights of a third person..

The court also determined Gallegos violated the rules of professional procedure by failing to properly supervise Chavez when he was issuing the subpoenas in question.

The reprimands are deferred and will be withdrawn after one year if the men do not violate the rules of professional conduct during that time.

The court also waived costs of the proceedings for both men.

Translation, there was a power play behind the scenes. Chavez is still a judge so the bad guys won. I’ve no idea how needing a judge or grand jury to approve a subpoena can be a “legal gray area”.

*GQ digs* Aha. The fact of the reprimand being deferred and eventually withdrawn is how Chavez managed to keep his judgeship despite ethics violations. You can catch some on that internal drama here:

SANTA FE, N.M. . A state district court judge in Taos has signed an alternative writ of mandamus directing the Taos County clerk to begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

The order late Tuesday afternoon came from Judge Jeff F. McElroy, who signed the writ on behalf of Judge Sarah C. Backus, the judge assigned to the case.

The alternative writ requires Taos County Clerk Anna Martinez to begin issuing licenses, or explain why she won’t during a hearing scheduled for Sept. 5.

KOB-TV reported that Martinez would not contest the order and begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples on Wednesday.

Martin Accad, Heretic

In my last post, I accused Accad of heresy. That is not an accusation to be made lightly so this second part will be shoring up that accusation. Again, Martin Accad is the director of the Institute of Middle East Studies (IMES) at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, Lebanon and an associate professor at Fuller Theological Seminary in America. A highly placed theologian.

His heresy is an old one. Accad seeks a way for the Christian Church to live in peace with the enemies of Christ. That is heresy because this world is in rebellion against Christ. The price of world peace is the Church abandoning Christ. Here, I present two articles by Accad in which he argues for compromising Christianity’s ‘monochromatic political vision’, as he put it.

4 Toxic Mistakes to Flush Out Regarding Islam

As our American friends approach Election Day this coming Nov. 8… I would like to point out a few mistakes that we often make in our thinking about Islam and Muslims, perhaps to help some of the voting be less fear-driven and more rational and socially compassionate.

1. We have a tendency to view Islam from a “world religions” perspective.

Many of us have gotten used to thinking about the world’s population in terms of ratios reflecting the major religions of the world. We have developed color-coded maps that contribute to this way of thinking.

But if we approach belief from a more phenomenological perspective (looking at particular religious experiences and expressions), we quickly realize that there are few people in the world (if any) who think alike about God, his interaction with our world, and human destiny in God’s eternal plan.

The reality is that religious ideologies are shaped by the behavior of their adherents, and this behavior is supremely affected by events of history and current affairs.

Ideology, noun: a system of ideas and ideals, especially one that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy. Behavior does not change ideas. A Christian who worships the Moon Goddess is a false Christian, not a Model Year 2018 Christian.

Religious ideologies are, therefore, in a constant state of transformation and change.

Ultimately, there is no such thing as Islam as a monolithic and static system of belief. The same may be said about Christianity.

It is true that Muslims and Christians claim that their religions are based on their sacred Scriptures, but Scriptures (as any text) only take meaning when they are interpreted by their community of faith.

And that interpretation too is dynamic and goes through significant change in history.

Do some Muslims venerate The Prophet Larry instead of the Prophet Mohammed? No, they don’t, and if they did then they shouldn’t be classified as Muslim. Meanwhile, Accad claims to be Protestant yet claims Scripture means only what we today believe it to mean.

God is a person, not a book. Woe betide the man on Judgment Day who tells God to his face, “that’s what you said but it’s not what I chose to believe you said.”

2. We have a tendency to define Islam based on the behavior of the more media-sensationalized groups of Muslims.

If we abandon the “world religions” interpretation of the world, then we will lose the tendency to judge Islam based on the behavior of certain Muslim groups with a particular crave for media attention.

Muslims for whom Islam inspires morality, tolerance and good neighborliness rarely make it into our newsfeeds.

A religion is not defined by its practitioners. (Otherwise, you could debunk any religion by claiming to be a member while not obeying its ideology.) Most people are sheep who do as they’re told. You want to know whether a society is a threat, look at its leaders and its fringes. Those are good indication of future attitudes.

Here’s a fun question you can ask your clergyman. Suppose a church wants to feed & shelter families through a harsh winter. They can afford to help ten families. A gov’t official comes along and offers them enough money to help a thousand families on condition that the church keep silent about God. The innocent will be helped but Christ/Allah/whoever will be left out. What should the Church do?

Tell the gov’t to get lost, of course. We help the poor in order to worship Christ. We do not worship Christ in order to help the poor.

As 21st century Christians, if we were suddenly transported back to the 12th century and came face to face with a fully armed European horseman preparing to journey toward the East under the banner of the cross, we would be loath to regard them as Christian.

We would object that they are not practicing the “true” teaching of Jesus who taught us to love our enemies, or at the very least argue that they have misunderstood the teaching of the Bible.

BULLSHIT! The Crusades were defensive actions against unprovoked Muslim aggression after Christian Europe witnessed the extermination of Christianity from Christian North Africa. It says much about these false Christians that they view every instance of a man drawing a sword and praying “Christ give me strength” as a war crime atrocity.

3. As Christians, we have a tendency to relate to Muslims out of our instinctive fears rather than out of our core biblical values.

Most of us humans abhor change. We like to hold on to the familiar. We call it “our way of life,. .our culture,. .our traditions. and “our values..

We fear the new, along with every perceived “outsider” who appears to be bringing change to these elements of our comfort zone.

Straight from the “Immigration Is Our Strength” playbook. I suspect Accad doesn’t ask Muslims to stop caring about their culture, traditions and values. That could be a pain in the neck for him. *chop, chop*

4. As Christians, it is easy to forget the rich common ground that we have for conversation with Muslims and we focus instead on our differences.

With Muslims we share, first of all, a common humanity. With Islam we share a rich common tradition, sometimes referred to as our common Abrahamic heritage.

It does not matter so much whether or not we agree with this narrative of a common thread and origin. What matters is that Islam views itself as flowing from this common source.

Common source? My king and savior is Christ the Son of God, not Abrahamic heritage. Muslims takes a dim view of Christ; the best they can offer is “Jesus was a great prophet that nobody listened to”.

The moment we give up on our calling to be salt and light, which gives life its true meaning and taste, we cease to be Christ’s body that was lifted up to gather all people to itself (John 12:32).

Mister “we shouldn’t hold on to our way of life” thinks we should be the salt of the Earth? Salt is a preservative! It kills infections. Literal salt kills microbes, moral salt kills Islam. Not the people, mind, but the false religion. And that is the root of Accad’s heresy: he would have us abandon truth for peace with a people who neither know nor love peace.

[Brief history of post-WW1 meddling in the Mideast by England & France omitted]

In the summer of 2014, the group calling itself the Islamic State went on a rampage, conquering and massacring Christians, Yazidis, Shiites and any Sunnis who disagreed with its program.

Strikingly, they started off with the supremely symbolic act of tearing down the international border demarcation between Iraq and Syria, which had resulted from the Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916. [GQ: The omitted part I mentioned.]

The challenge to the post-colonial order imposed by Western nations on the Middle East region had been launched.

Meanwhile, more than 20 years ago, political scientist Samuel Huntington in 1992 proposed the notion of a “clash of civilizations” as a key to understanding the nature of global conflict in a post-Cold War era.

It became popular to think of Islam as the single most significant divisive agent in today’s world.

With good reason. The globalists are importing Muslims into Christian areas in genocidal numbers. The number for Germany was set by Angela Merkel at one million Muslim immigrants per year, in a nation of roughly 80M Germans. They have been neither tolerant of Christians nor generally law-abiding. Meanwhile, no new Christian colonies are being set up in Muslim regions and we certainly don’t enjoy gov’t-protected status there. How oppressive of us that for all the “Christian” meddling in the Mideast, Christians haven’t enjoyed any special status.

In much of the popular mind, the world is now divided between the Muslims and “the rest.” Christians of the East are an oppressed “minority” that needs rescuing by the rest in “the West.” And Muslims are largely on a grand mission to conquer the world.

Has ISIS. behavior confirmed Huntington’s vision of the world or challenged it? How do we understand militant jihadism within the grander scheme of the Islamist and Salafist ideologies of the 20th century? What does a 21st-century perspective on the Middle East and global developments tell us?

I would argue that 20th-century post-colonial realities represented jihadi Salafism’s “raison d.etre. and attractiveness in the last century as well as at the turn of the 21st century.

He keeps bringing up post-colonialism, as if Muslims today are violent only because of past injustices. Remember Mohammed bragged about murdering his own uncle? I suspect the people who venerate him will be similarly bloodthirsty no matter their reasons.

The biggest world power in the Mideast today is America, which never had any colonies anywhere. We weren’t even a player on the global scene until after WW2. Why would ISIS hate America for the colonialism we never did?

The biggest draw of ISIS on young people is its rebellious stance toward the dominant order imposed by world powers.

For the disillusioned young people living under post-colonial, paternalistic, corrupt, yet largely Western-supported regimes in the Arab and Muslim world, affiliating with a movement that dares to challenge the dominant order under the victorious black banners of ISIS is an extremely defiant and invigorating act.

This is a total lie. The dominant order/world power he refers to is giving Muslims free bus tickets into the Christian world and protection from local law enforcement, up to and including gang-raping our children. The globalists are not capable of boosting Islam any harder then they currently are.

Accad is trying to paint Muslims as victims of Christianity. He’s reaching back all the way to the Crusades because there is that little evidence to support this. Not to mention that nearly all governments in Europe/North America are secular. It’s been a long time since kings ruled only with Rome’s permission.

Meanwhile, French sociologist Olivier Roy reveals through comprehensive research into ISIS. recruitment draw in Europe that the thrill of affiliation to ISIS is more to do with the disaffection of young Europeans who are part of second- or third-generation migrant communities living in ghettoized societies as well as young Millennial and iGeneration converts attracted to the service of revolutionary hordes with no apparent moral boundaries, than anything to do with commitment and loyalty to Islamic theology.

As Roy puts it, ISIS recruits have a fascination for the narrative of .a small brotherhood of super-heroes who avenge the Muslim Ummah..

Is this not grounds for wariness towards Muslims? A religious fascination with heroically punishing us Christians today for the not-crimes of secular powers a century ago? The Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 was 102 years ago and Accad is implying today that that’s legit cause for raping our children and burning our churches.

…I would argue that ISIS. very existence forecasts new, deep and comprehensive developments even within Islam in the near and longer-term future.

I plan to present this perspective in a November 2016 lecture at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, challenging popular notions that draw brash generalizations about Islam.

Fuller Theological Seminary hosted Accad’s teachings.

I will argue that the world is mostly populated with ordinary people who simply want to live their lives and provide a decent future for their children.

Has anybody said differently? EVERYBODY “simply wants to live their lives” except the actively suicidal. See that badass Special Forces soldier over there? Guess what, he wants to survive his next mission and keep living his life.

But Accad’s sentiment is exactly what Tradcons love to hear. We’re all the same, we just want to live together in happiness, let’s import all of Uganda into someone else’s backyard because we care about starving children.

This category of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Baha.is, Yazidis and holders of no particular faith effectively represent the “silent majority,. which the “Clash” theory tends to brush off as of no significance to world tensions and conflicts.

Yet the recent uprisings in the Arab World seem to have inaugurated a new role for this grass-roots group, to a large extent as a result of globalization and the rise of the social media.

Searching for the Islamic roots of ISIS in the Quran and Islamic traditions may yield some interesting results for scholars of world religions.

The idea that a religion’s established documents and traditions have no correlation with the current behavior of its members is stupid.

And their work may be useful in the long run, as scholars of different faiths engage in conversation about theology and its impact on politics.

But the more important question from the perspective of the sociology of religions is the reverse: How are current events and manifestations of contemporary Islam, together with the reactions to it among adherents of other religions, particularly Christianity and Judaism, going to affect Islam and other religions in the longer run?

Scholars who study the phenomenon of religion are more interested in defining religion based on the behavior of its adherents than on the basis of some grand theological themes that are supposed to be the driving force of people of faith.

Grand theological themes? That unite doctrinally incompatible religions? People of “faith”? These are Unitarian concepts. Not Christian.

What does mission look like when the church globally ceases from aligning with monochromatic political visions of the world? How do we take the focus away from stereotyping driven by fear, and back to God’s hopeful mission to individual human beings in all their diversity? …

Is Jesus still of any significance when a more .existential,. .low-boundaries. approach to religions is taken? What does a kerygmatic, .supra-religious. approach to mission have to offer our contemporary missiological thinking?

The latter two concepts . kerygmatic and .supra-religious. . are two angles which I intend to use to develop a new framework for a missiological vision in the 21st century.

Martin Accad has abandoned any pretense of loyalty to Christ the Son of God and now uses his influence to sell Christ as a tool for world peace… looking forward to a world in which economic prosperity replaces ideology and dogma in the hearts of the people.

But he still identifies as Christian, goes through the motions of Christian worship and occupies a slot in Church leadership. In his view, that makes Accad a loyal Christian. In God’s eyes, that makes Accad a heretic vandalizing Christ’s work to make peace with a rebellious world.

Martin Accad is the director of the Institute of Middle East Studies (IMES) at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, Lebanon and an associate professor at Fuller Theological Seminary and a false Christian working to leave the Church vulnerable to Muslim persecution.

Accad’s main philosophy is kerygmatics. I haven’t heard that term myself despite being a lifelong devout Christian. This is from Wiley Online Library:

The descriptive term “kerygmatic” comes from the Greek word kerygma, meaning to preach or proclaim. The term is frequently used by kerygmatic theologians (e.g. Rudolf Bultmann, Karl Barth) to describe the act of preaching that calls for an existential faith in the meaning of Jesus. The term kerygma was used by theologians to denote the content of apostolic preaching which consisted of historical facts about Jesus’ life and ministry (e.g. death, burial, resurrection, and ascension) for understanding the meaning Jesus (e.g. C. H. Dodd). According to kerymatic theologians, when the content of the primitive kerygma is preached today (i.e. Jesus’ death and resurrection) it is understood that God calls upon hearers to believe in God’s act in Christ, so that hearers recognize their judgment of sin and receive grace in the present.

Salvation by exposure to preaching? No wonder they need a new word. From encyclopedia.com:

KERYGMATIC THEOLOGY: The systematic study of theological truths within a structure that can directly and immediately serve to prepare for and promote the preaching of the truths of revelation to the Christian people (A. de Villalmonte). The modern movement for a kerygmatic theology seeks to orientate scientific theology to Christian life and apostolate, and thereby to bring about an interaction of theology and apostolic action. …

Symbolism is used to convey value, and the value-symbol relation explains the central position of the man Jesus Christ and His history in a kerygmatic synthesis. The relation highlights as well the demand for a theology and a catechesis adaptable to the psychological and cultural needs of the individual.

An early attempt to establish a theology independent of scholastic theology met with a strong disapproval, principally because of its inherent ambiguity, imprecision, and limited intellectual scope.

As we’ve seen many times in Current Year, ambiguity and imprecision are the vanguard of false teachers and pathological liars. Christianity has never been difficult to understand, only to accept. I cannot grok how Christian theology could possibly be adapted to individual purposes. God’s existence, plans and morality are objective, not subjective. Adapting God to service our needs is the religion of humanism.

Kerygmatic Approach to Religious Education:

During the early twentieth century, the kerygmatic movement developed in the Catholic Church as a result of a growing dissatisfaction with the dogmatic approach in religious education.

Changes to religious education came at a time when United Kingdom and United States of America teachers of religious education started to question whether rote learning and memorisation of facts was the most effective approach to teaching (Whenman, 2012).

Hobson and Welbourne (2002) state that since Vatican II a quantum leap has been made from an approach that concentrated on memorised doctrine to a process that applies critical reason to Christian texts, rituals and symbols.

As early as the mid nineteenth century there were developments in theological thinking (Gallagher, 2001). Thinking included viewing the Church as a community rather than the church being an impenetrable fortress.

Memorizing facts is so Nineteenth century.

Lance (as cited in Gallagher, 2001) states the purpose of the kerygmatic approach was to enable students to reflect on themselves and their lives and to examine these in depth so that they came to see God present in their own lives. The aim being to renew the significance of the Church liturgies and scriptures.

Advantages: The kerygmatic movement signified an important change. The Bible became a much more important tool in religious education.

A series of text books were integrated into classrooms such as “My Way to God” which led to new styles of teaching that resulted in improved engagement of student learning (Whenman, 2012).

“Change” as an end in itself means “novelty”, which is not part of Christian theology.

Rummery (1977) states another advantage was that the gap between teachers and students lessened as both were seen as participants. This less formal relationship between student and teacher allowed for informed discussion.

The catechism was no longer used as a starting point for discussion rather, it was used to link to students. life experiences.

Limitations: Gallagher (2001) identifies the disadvantages in the approach were that many of those involved in teaching religion were ill equipped to cope with the change from dogmatic to the kerygmatic approach.

Many religious educators failed to make the historical approach relevant to children in the twentieth century.

Bible stories became repetitious and were not modified to suit the needs of the students.

Educators assumed all students were believers which made it difficult for students to make connections with the Bible.

This last comment is a massive problem in the Protestant world, generally. Pastors make almost no effort to convince people that God is real. They assume that any newcomer has already been sold on Christianity and preach on how useful their particular church will be to his problems. (Assuming his problems are self-destructive habits or rebellion against wifey.) You can stump the average pastor by asking him why somebody should continue believing in God if God isn’t useful.

To summarize, kerygmatics is what you get when you use Scripture as fairy tales instead of the Word of God. The purpose of kerygmatics is to confuse and disassociate the principles of Christian theology in preparation for subversion.

Which brings us to Martin Accad.

If the “way of the world” in building peace has been failing us, and if there is increasing recognition that religion renders conflict intractable, then it is perhaps time for the church to reexamine its legacy in the realm of conflict as well as its biblical mandate for peacebuilding. We must ask ourselves, as people of God, whether we have been part of the problem or part of the solution, and how we will tackle the way ahead.

Of course religion is a source of conflict. Humanity is in constant rebellion against God. This isn’t even a Christian concept. Pick your favorite deity, even None, and a large chunk of humanity will act against him. Religion will never bring us lasting peace, not even when Christ personally takes his chair back from Rome.

In a recent blog on biblical peace, I examined the concept of shalom in the Old Testament as the semantic framework for our understanding of the New Testament teaching on peace.4 I discovered that God’s peace is a state of well-being into which God invites his people in fulfillment of his part of his covenant with them. The Israelite people are promised God’s shalom on condition that they remain faithful to him, keep the Sabbath, and obey his commandments (Lev 26:1.3). Under these conditions, they are promised that “the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit,. that he will “grant peace in the land,. that they will have victory over their enemies, and that he will increase their numbers and keep his covenant with them. And crucially from an Old Testament perspective, God promises, .I will put my dwelling place among you . . . I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. (Lev 26:1.12).

This is an accurate description of the Old Covenant. Accad left out two facts: one, the OC was a total failure as a way to foster morality or peace, and two, this offer has been withdrawn and replaced by the New Covenant.

When Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest, he affirmed: .Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,. adding that the second is “like it: .Love your neighbor as yourself.. (Matt 22:37.39). Clearly, Jesus agreed that our faithfulness to God is at the heart of the covenant and the core condition of our experience of God’s shalom. But he established as well the second commandment at the same level of importance. We cannot affirm that we truly love God if we don’t also love our neighbor. The Apostle John warns in his first epistle: .Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. (1 John 4:20).

Boldface mine. Were these two separate commands or one single command stated twice? The first one is correct but Accad disagrees here.

GLEANING INSIGHT ON PEACEBUILDING FROM THE CAIN AND ABEL NARRATIVE

Working toward peace in multifaith contexts has its particular challenges. Aren’t people of faith supposed to affirm the propositional truths of their religion with confidence, to the exclusion of other contenders? [GQ: Yes.] How do we build peaceful relationships with people who.we are convinced.are in the wrong? [GQ: Good fences.] Furthermore, how do we do this when we perceive them as being violent? [GQ: If they actually are violent then peace is not an option.] If you are an Arab Christian, how do you respond when you have been ostracized through the centuries as a religious minority, even actively excluded and persecuted by the Muslim majority? [GQ: By “perceiving them as being violent”]

I have found the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4 to contain invaluable lessons for Christians living in multifaith contexts under duress. … In this primordial encounter between Genesis’s third human person and God lies the embryonic presentation of human history’s most recurring and ever-present problem: religion at the heart of conflict.

There was no religion at this time. God spoke directly to humans. Cain’s parents could remember life with God In Person.

Cain has just failed to please God through his religious ritual, and he is sorely aware of it. His brother Abel, conversely, has also just performed a ritual upon which, we are told, .the Lord looked with favor. (v. 4). To the ill-prepared reader, God’s attitude toward each of the sacrifices seems rather arbitrary, even capricious. Why should Cain’s offering of “some of the fruits of the soil. (v. 3) be received less favorably than Abel’s offering of “fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. (v. 4)? There are few clues in the text to help us understand God’s stance, and I will not dwell too long on this question here.

Genesis 4:3-4 “So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions.” I emphasized the relevant parts. News flash, fruit grows on trees. Abel brought God his best while Cain brought God fallen, overripe fruit that he didn’t need to harvest. I would’ve preferred Abel, too.

Is Martin Accad really a peer of three international Christian institutions of higher learning? He doesn’t understand the second morality tale of the Bible and didn’t recognize the answer even when he quoted it. The story of Cain & Abel is on, what, page 5?

.Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil,. we read in verse 2, so each naturally brought to God the fruit of their labor. From an immediate reading of the text, they could hardly have done otherwise. Likewise, most of us will die with the religion in which we were born. I did not choose to be born Christian, and neither did my neighbor choose to be born Muslim.

Nobody is born Christian. Until you voluntarily accept Christ, you are His enemy. (Excepting children too young to understand good & evil but that’s innocence, not Christianity.)

Nobody is born Muslim, either, but if you’re born to Muslims and choose a different religion then you’ll “perceive them murdering you for apostasy”.

This brings us to the reality of our multireligious world. The pursuit of truth is certainly important. Theologians and philosophers of religions should and will continue to explore truth. People of faith will continue to invite others into the good news of the message of which they are convinced, presenting as best they can the coherence of their faith system. But besides this noble task of affirming .orthodoxy,. which is passionately argued in the affirmation of Abel’s offering and the rejection of Cain.s, the more important challenge that Genesis 4 seems to pose is the question of correct “orthopathy” and correct “orthopraxy.” How will we react when we are confronted with those of a different .doxy,. or system of belief? Will we give in to our anger and frustration and seek their destruction, or will we seek proper .praxy.?

We disciples of Christ will follow Christ’s example of pointing out their mistakes… loudly… and if they persist in doing wrong then we isolate ourselves from them. Throughout this article, Accad assumes that multicult immigration is going to be the new normal, that monocultural societies are never going to happen again and the best thing for us to do is weaken our grasp on “orthodoxy” enough to purchase peace at whatever price our new Muslim neighbors charge.

No doubt the synthesis of this “truth for peace” process will be a new, pseudo-Abrahamic religion with a mortal godhead.

If we condemn Cain too swiftly, without taking the time to ponder our own negative and exclusivist attitudes toward our brothers and sisters of other faiths, as abominable as his act was, we will quickly give in to self-righteousness. By identifying too strongly with Abel, we risk inadvertently turning into Cain. But when we take the time to ponder the mark that God put on Cain as a protection from harm (4:15), we begin recognizing ourselves in Cain, and we begin to give heed to God’s invitation that we should “rule over” our anger and shame, and respond to his plea that we be our .brother’s keeper. (4:9).

That… is… an entirely original interpretation of the story. I accuse Martin Accad of heresy for comparing humanity’s first murder to Christianity’s “exclusivist attitude”.

Our exploration of the concept of peace in the Bible brings us before Christ’s invitation to his followers to be peacemakers. Bogged down as we often are by conflict within our churches, we can understand Christ’s call as if it applied primarily to in-house conflict, easily overlooking his call that we are to bring about biblical shalom in society at large. As we have struggled with this realization at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, we have been reflecting on what it means to be peacemakers while at the same time holding onto our distinctive calling of being witnesses for the mission of God in the MENA region. This has led us to coin the expression “kerygmatic peacebuilding.” As followers of Jesus, we are called to be catalysts for peace at both the grassroots and national political levels. The challenge, however, is not to so take on the peacebuilding methods of the world that we forget the uniqueness of how Jesus has redefined peace and peacemaking.

The uniqueness of Jesus is in His Divinity and Crucifixion, not his understanding of peace. Accad is twisting Jesus to be a means toward “interfaith peace”. While I understand the appeal of safety to a guy living in Beirut, suffering is the price of following Christ. Suffering is Christ’s promise to us. If you can’t take the heat, if you’re this desperate for peace, Accad, then renounce Christ and start humping towards Mecca. Your mortal years will be much safer and happier. Bonus, I’ll stop hating you, you God-damned hypocrite.

REPOSITIONING THE CHURCH AS A KERYGMATIC PEACEMAKER

The challenge that presents itself to us as Christ-following peacemakers is this: Are we so vexed at the reality of pluralism that, like Cain, we are prepared to get rid of our “brother” in a violent expression of exclusivism? Or will we heed God’s call to “do what is right,. to follow his model of peace as the greatest peacemaker.and to see God’s face in the face of our “brother” as we seek to establish truth, justice, and peace in the world?

The church in the MENA region is so wounded that it will fail to practice its role as peacemaker and reconciler unless it learns how to find healing first in the one who was “pierced for our transgressions” and “crushed for our iniquities. (Isa 53:5). Our wounds too often drive us away from our Muslim neighbors; our hurt contributes to fear, and as a result we develop bitter representations of the “other” and listen only to our own narratives.

THEY GOT THOSE WOUNDS FROM MUSLIMS! Entire generations of institutional persecution are not “narratives”!

I am convinced from my work in the formation of leaders for the church in the MENA region that the greatest threat to the future of Arab Christianity is not Islam, but rather the perception that Christians have of themselves and of their Muslim neighbors. I worry that the kind of slanderous representations of Islam and Muslims that are so common these days, not just in [Mideast/North Africa] but in the church globally, are becoming so toxic and hazardous that they are having a long-term negative impact on the ongoing health of the church. And I worry that our self-perception as victims will neutralize our ability to break the cycle of violence and prevent our wounds from becoming a source of healing rather than of a festering stench.

Kerygmatic peacemaking is rooted in our self-giving God who, in Christ, not only revealed his willingness to become vulnerable before his enemies, but also chose to reconcile the world to himself through a selfless life that led him to his death.

Unbelievable. Martin Assad has completely broken from Christ. Fuller Seminary ought to be ashamed of its association with him. I have more; Part 2 is coming!

Wormtongues Today

Last post, I touched on how modern liars have a tendency to talk a lot without saying anything. A common manifestation of this is attempting to create doubt where none should be by asking questions about straightforward issues and then not giving a concrete answer.

Christianity Today magazine uses this technique in a recent article:

No. Their holy texts sanction lying, Mohammed rose to power by lying and Muslims venerate him so much that Mohammed is the most common name on Earth.

Wow. That’s exactly what the article should say. Sadly, I made that up. As you might guess just from the spelling of his name, Jayson is neither that direct, honest nor politically incorrect in his discussion of Christian-Muslim tensions. Let’s fisk the real article:

The holiest of Islam’s two yearly holidays is Eid al-Adha; in Arabic, .the feast of the sacrifice.” This week, on August 21, Muslims worldwide slaughtered sheep, remembering how God saved Abraham from sacrificing his son Ishmael.

Wait, Ishmael? Not Isaac?

Though the Qur.an doesn’t name the son, Muslims believe it was the ancestor of the Arabs that God used to test Abraham’s faith. Should Christians understand this as a theological error? Or an outright lie?

The identification matters, because Isaac is a prefiguration of Jesus, whose sacrifice saved man from his sins. Religions often have differing traditions; and for Christians, Muhammad’s conscience in founding Islam is unknown. But some Christians today are comfortable delving into the conscience of everyday, ordinary Muslims, finding deception at every turn.

The identification matters but notice Jayson didn’t answer the question. I will: Scripture is absolutely, definitely clear that it was Isaac, not Ishmael. No honest Christian will give a different answer. Furthermore, Isaac was not a symbol of Jesus. The ram caught in the thicket that God commanded Abraham to sacrifice in Isaac’s place was. Genesis 22:13. Again, there is no room for doubt or debate on this. It’s straight outta Scripture.

The idea is called taqiyya: that Muslims are permitted by their faith to lie if it will advance the cause of their religion.

Tharwat Wahba, professor of mission at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, cited a tradition of Muhammad that allows Muslims three exceptions to lie for a greater cause: War, reconciliation, and to keep a wife happy.

Might some Muslims extrapolate two of these for their experience in the West? Does the first exception imply there is a secret jihad? In the second exception, a religion of peace?

.Accept kindness and friendship, but be alert and awake,. Wahba said. .Don’t be na?ve. Some have agendas..

So what if a Muslim invites you to a celebration? The lamb might be tasty, but should Christians be wary?

Statistics show they already are.

Jayson gives five questions and zero answers. Muslims are using Muslim-style deception across Europe right now. Go read a headline, Jayson. Yes, permitting lying for the purpose of waging war leads to threats such as secret jihads. No, no “religion of peace” advances its cause through dishonesty.

If a Muslim invites you to a Muslim celebration then don’t go. His religion is false; do not legitimize it via participation. Absolutely be wary because Muslims have butchered Christians from Indonesia to Cairo to London to Canada just in the past week.

No charge, Jayson.

The 2018 American Muslim Poll from the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) found only 36 percent of white evangelicals believe Muslims are committed to the well-being of America.

That means 64 percent of white evangelicals want America to continue existing.

And according to the Pew Research Center, 50 percent of self-identified white evangelicals believe there is a “great deal” or “fair amount” of support for extremism among Muslims living in America. This is often connected to a fear of Shari.ah law.

Yet according to the 2017 ISPU poll, only 10 percent said Shari.ah should play a legal role in their community.

Are the rest lying? Or are evangelicals predisposed to assume they are?

Which is it, Jayson? You don’t answer. Let me suggest a useful tie-breaker: don’t listen to what Muslims say they want. Look at what they do to the areas they take control of. Those Muslim no-go zones in Paris, are they Sharia or secular? London? Sweden? Germany? Netherlands? Bueller? Bueller?

Taqiyya is an Arabic word that has come to mean .dissimulation,. said Martin Accad, chief academic officer of Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Lebanon and associate professor of Islamic Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. It is a contested allowance in Islam to conceal your true faith if under personal duress.

But in much anti-Muslim discourse, taqiyya has been redefined into a religious obligation for Muslims to lie to non-Muslims not simply for survival, Accad said, but to serve the expansionist agenda of their religious community.

Without knowing the term, the concept is creeping into Christian consciousness. (For example, Ben Carson brought it up during his presidential campaign.) And Accad wants to nip it in the bud.

.My intention is to guard us against bearing false witness,. he wrote for Ramadan last year. .Would it not represent taqiyya on our part to use a Muslim belief against Islam, by promoting a partial understanding of it?.

More Wormtonguing. Accuse the victim of the lie, how original. Notice that Accad admits that Islam allows lying in self-defense. If lying is evil except in certain situations then guess what, Islam sanctions evil. By contrast, Christianity makes no allowance for lying even in self-defense. If this Fuller Seminary creep might deny Christ in extremis then he does not belong in church authority. Christ and His saints are known by their scars, not their comfortable salaries. You’re going on my list, Martin Accad.

Like the name of Abraham’s son, taqiyya is not mentioned in the Qur.an. But an anti-Muslim website draws attention to several references which seem to imply a license to lie.

The linked website gives direct references and quotations. It’s like Jayson didn’t expect anybody to click on the link because he doesn’t give any responding quotations or references; just a cloistered academic who tells us that Muslims don’t mean what they say and do.

The central story in Islamic tradition involves a family converted to Islam by Muhammad. Persecuted, the mother and father refused to give up their faith and were killed.

Their son wavered, maligned the prophet, and praised the pagan gods. Returning later to Muhammad, he received comfort, asked only about what was in his heart.

How is that not a license to lie? Oh, but he had a good reason to lie at the time! Total bullshit. Nobody respects a man who’s honest until it hurts.

But a far more prominent theme in the Qur.an, Accad said, is hypocrisy. Considered a grave sin among Muslims, it is almost always followed with promises of hellfire. An expanded taqiyya definition does not mesh well.

How is that son above not a hypocrite? Hypocrisy is doing one thing while believing something different. Worshiping one deity while believing in another is exactly hypocrisy.

Amr Salah, a lecturer at the prestigious al-Azhar University in Cairo, hardly heard of taqiyya growing up, save in slander against Shia Muslims. But he was disturbed to hear how some American Christians were being informed.

.The discourse of taqiyya reminds me of how Nazi Germany spoke of the Jews,. he said. .If you say people are not trustworthy, it is dangerous..

Muslims are taught not to look into the hearts of others to judge their motivations. And they are called to be a witness among the people. (Sumaya, the mother in the above story, was the first martyr in Islam.)

.As humans, we want to survive,. Salah said, noting the story of Peter’s denial at the cross. .The religious ideal is to not deny your faith. But the human response is to have mercy..

Peter did evil when he denied Christ–his life wasn’t even in danger at the time–and had the dignity to be ashamed about it. Muslims look at their leaders doing evil and see license to share in that evil; we see our leaders doing evil and call them out on it because all humans are weak and need help. Wanted or not.

Hence this blog. Skipping ahead,

But beyond extremists, certainly some Muslims have an agenda. How can the American Christian discern? And should some Christians examine themselves?

.The Bible calls us to love our neighbors and our enemies. It is impossible to know someone’s intentions with certainty, and anyone is capable of having negative intentions,. said Salim Munayer, executive director of the Jerusalem-based Musalaha reconciliation ministry.

.People should be held accountable for their actions, but this is not something that the church should be preoccupied with. It is a job for the state..

Seriously? Q: “How can we tell which Muslims want to exterminate Christianity?”

A: “Don’t worry about it. It’s not your job to find out.”

Not only is that not an answer, it’s a demand for surrender.

And in America, the state is keen to stop crime.

.Quite frankly, I have not seen that taqiyya is in any way related to this issue,. Accad said. Needless controversy has been provoked by anti-Muslim groups towards mainstream organizations which do not hide their desire to spread Islam.

Specifically mentioning the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Islamic Society of North America, Accad said they view this as what God expects of them.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is a known Islamic terrorist front for Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood. I look forward to investigating Accad.

Rather than trying to judge whether or not a Muslim is practicing taqiyya, Wahba recommended 1 Corinthians 13.

.Love believes all things,. he said. .If you fear a Muslim is not honest, it will build walls. But love will go to him and build bridges, and be a means of witness to the gospel..

Practically speaking, do not be afraid to join Muslims if invited to holiday celebrations, whether the recent Eid or Ramadan’s iftar fast-breaking. Trust God is at work no matter their heart, said Wahba.

.Love is stronger than lying. It is not about them, it is about me..

It’s better if I confine myself to the malpractitioners of my own branch of Christianity but really, what more is there to be said after “female pastor”? The Catholic Diocese of San Jose has purchased a five-bedroom, $2.3 million home in Silicon Valley for its retiring bishop despite the 640,000-member diocese’s mission of charity and serving the poor.

Bishop Patrick J. McGrath, 73, acknowledged in an interview with the Mercury News of San Jose that the price tag is “a lot of money,” saying “I could understand it might not sit well with some parishioners.” …

It was purchased with funds set aside for paying the costs of a bishop’s housing and upkeep after retirement, said diocese communications director Liz Sullivan. She said the diocese was “following the policy set forth by the United States Council of Catholic Bishops” in purchasing the home.

The USCCB is a notoriously corrupt organization.

“The fund is a fund that can be used for nothing else,” McGrath said. “When I’m not around anymore, the house can be sold. It’s a good investment in that sense. It probably makes more money this way than if it were in the bank.”

It’s not a good investment. One: earthquakes. Two: buying high and selling low ain’t the way to make money. McGrath is either bad with money or lying… and we’ve already established he’s a liar with that “might not sit well with some parishioners” comment.

Still, the purchase appears at odds with the McGrath’s previously expressed concerns about housing inequality in Northern California.

In 2016, McGrath co-authored an article backing a $950 million bond measure for affordable housing in which he wrote “too many children and families are living in cars or tripled up with other families in small homes because they can’t afford the rent on their own.”

“There is no moral or social justification, no justification whatsoever, for the lack of housing,” he wrote.

Many retired clergy choose to live in a retirement community in Mountain View sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Others live in church rectories, the homes of parish priests. Catholic orders like the Society of Jesus provide accommodations for fellow Jesuits.

“Those are all possibilities,” McGrath said. “But I’d like to live in a house so I would have the freedom to help the diocese but not disturb the priests in the rectories.”

McGrath said he looked at various homes both within and beyond the diocese but “they all had some kind of drawback.”

“I looked at places way out in the East Bay, but I like the valley,” McGrath said. “I thought it would be nice to be here, to be of assistance (with the parish) if I can.”

McGrath said he’s not planning to have other clergy as regular housemates, though people to help him cook and clean might come and stay.

The separation of detained minor children from their parents is un-American, un-Christian and inhumane. This practice is mean-spirited and betrays our nation’s tradition of welcome to migrants and refugees. Coupled with this, the United State’s Attorney General’s decision to deny welcome to victims of domestic and gang violence is a further betrayal of the values that have until now characterized the immigration policy of the United States. The Attorney General’s attempt to justify these actions by citing Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans is a final betrayal of millennia-old principles. Blind obedience to the state has never been the mark of our democracy, which has historically been characterized by civil discourse and compromise.

The reason ICE separated kids from adults is because putting little kids in the same housing units as gang bangers and human traffickers is not safe. “When I began plans to retire, and considered where I would live, I had wanted to remain in the Diocese of San Jose. This has been my home for nearly 20 years. At first, I had hoped to live in a diocesan-owned house that is located on cemetery property, but necessary retrofitting proved to be too costly.

This made it necessary to look for another house. The Diocesan Finance Council and the College of Consultors approved the purchase of the home in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose. I agreed with them that in economic terms the purchase of the home made sense in terms of financial return on investment. It was bought primarily with funds that had been designated for this sole purpose, funds that had accrued from the sale of Bishop DuMaine’s condominium, when he was no longer able to live in it due to failing health.

However, I erred in judgment in the purchase of a 5-bedroom home for $2.3 million. I failed to consider adequately the housing crisis in this valley and the struggles of so many families and communities in light of that crisis.

I have heard from many on this topic and I have decided that I will not move into this house. The Diocese will put it up for sale as soon as possible; if there is any profit to the Diocese from that sale, those funds will be donated to Charities Housing, a division of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County.

I assume full responsibility for this decision and I believe that the sale of the house is the appropriate action. I thank those who have advised me.

When I retire, I now intend to live in a rectory at one of our parishes.”

This confluence of events made me curious about what is actually going on when it comes to drugs in the tech world these days. Flatmates buzz in and out of the kitchen as Lily (not her real name), a publicist for several startups, sits down with cup of tea and a credit-card-sized bag of dried magic mushrooms. …She’s now ready to start her working day.

“It helps me think more creatively and stay focused,” she says. “I manage my stress with ease and am able to keep my perspective healthy in a way that I was unable to before.”

Lily is one of many young professionals in San Francisco and beyond experimenting with “microdosing”: taking small quantities of psychedelic drugs – typically LSD or psilocybin mushrooms – every few days in the hope of improving their performance at work. In small amounts, say, a tenth of a full dose, users don’t experience a consciousness-altering “trip”, but instead report improvements in concentration and problem solving, as well as a reduction in anxiety.

One of affirmative action’s worst consequences is pushing unqualified people (especially women) into high-performance positions. Instead of giving up or faking it, they might easily search for chemical support to enable the high-level performance everybody is expecting them to have. Or alternatively, to banish the anxiety of constantly being pushed beyond one’s natural competence.

“What you get is the best parts of Adderall with none of the side effects. You function better physically and mentally. You find the office jerk bearable and you’re more compassionate about the flaws of others,” he says. “You feel you’ve had a pretty good day.”

Mental labor is not like physical labor. You can’t increase your native intelligence like back muscle. There’s a hard upper limit. Part of this culture of drug use is the less intelligent trying to compete with the more intelligent. It ain’t going to work out. Instead, the naturally super-smart should be appreciated and rewarded and not replaced with cheapo H1b frauds. But there goes the globalist New World Order fantasy and female territory-marking.

Speaking of professional athletes, are any of my readers happy about drug use in pro sports? Bodybuilders used to look muscles; now they look plastic and aliens. I grieve for kids whose heroes only succeeded with help from a syringe. Is the working world going to be any different from the sports world?

The study that has captured the attention of today’s microdosers is one that took place in the summer of 1966, at a research facility in Menlo Park, led by a then 27-year-old Jim Fadiman.

The question he set out to answer was whether psychedelic drugs could help solve hard science problems. Volunteers for the study had to be dealing with a problem – something that could be measured, built, proven or manufactured – that they’d been stuck on for at least three months. Twenty-seven men, including engineers, architects, mathematicians, a psychologist and a furniture designer, signed up.

Each participant was given 200 milligrams of mescaline – the equivalent of 100 micrograms of LSD – and left to listen to classical music with their eyes closed for a couple of hours while the drug kicked in. Then, they were let loose on their problems.

The results were startling. There were breakthroughs or partial solutions to 40 out of the 44 problems the volunteers were collectively grappling with. …

It wasn’t until the early 2000s that a few researchers tentatively rekindled the scientific study of psychedelics.

Consistent timing with corporate/gov’t agencies wondering how to make geniuses out of the women and low-IQ migrants they chose to replace American men. It isn’t going to work. A Scottish dad reported missing by his partner of 27 years turned up in the US married to a secret lover.

Malcolm McGregor’s family called in cops after he vanished from the home he shared with childhood sweetheart Cheryl Cowie, 37, in Motherwell, Scotland. The town is about 15 miles southeast of Glasgow.

But the shameless McGregor was seen beaming in wedding snaps after fleeing to Utah to marry new wife Bell Valek after wooing her on Facebook.

But Cowie was horrified after it emerged he’d jetted 4,500 miles to Utah and was now shacked up with his new wife.

This is the best recent picture of current McGowan I can find. Notice the eye flaps hanging over his eyes? That’s a good indicator of long-term stress. I see he’s tried to project more masculinity by growing a goatee but he isn’t managing it well. That’s not because he’s a nerd who thinks grooming is an unproductive habit so I’d guess his personality is a little careless and he tends to give 90% of his effort rather than 100%. The goatee itself is about 90%.

I’ll assume his new wife, Bell Valek, has not had Botox or plastic surgery. She’s undeniably ugly… problem glasses and hoop earrings so not a virgin. Her full lips have a good “cupid’s bow”, that divot under the nasal septum, so she probably has a strong sex drive. Her nose seems bulbous, not just fleshy, which indicates wealth (more specifically, a preoccupation with money which McGowan probably didn’t bring with him).

Cheryl Cowie probably turned McGowan’s life into an insufferable Blue Pill hell. He found a mistress, Valek, who is financially secure and wants a boy toy. McGowan, unable to free himself from or endure the loveless marriage, took the offer to start a new life. This makes him a “kept lover” but looking at the stress indicators, he saved his life getting away from that cow Cowie.

He’s still thirsty, however. Still eager for female approval. Unable to act independently, which makes this not a MGTOW story. Had he packed up, vanished and reappeared living in a boat or trailer in a different country, that would have been MGTOW.

A man can’t self-actualize until he cuts the apron strings. You aren’t free if a new woman is rescuing you from the old woman. (Game wardens call that poaching.) I hope Valek is kind to McGowan; there is hope because she is now Mrs. McGowan; but McGowan himself does not have the strength of character to break free from the Gynocracy.

Going MGTOW is a true achievement requiring fortitude and discipline. There’s a lot of hardwiring and habit that a guy must break through to “merely live poolside”.

Chutkan was born on July 5, 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica. …Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. From 1987 to 1990, she worked at the law firm of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells). From 1990 to 1991, she worked at the law firm of Donovan, Leisure, Rogovin, Huge & Schiller. From 1991 to 2002, she was a trial attorney and supervisor at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. She was a partner at the law firm of Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where her practice focused on complex civil litigation and specifically antitrust class action cases.

While a Partner at Boies Schiller & Flexner, Judge Chutkan represented Theranos, which hired the investigative firm Fusion GPS to threaten the news media. Despite the threats, the Wall Street Journal’s reporting resulted in an SEC investigation and Theranos paying a $200 million dollar fine.

Her husband Peter Arno Krauthamer, a judge to the bench in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, was nominated by President Barack Obama on July 11, 2011. On December 19, 2013, [Obama] nominated Chutkan to serve as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, to a new seat created pursuant to 104 Stat. 5089, on July 1, 2013.

A Jamaican that went straight through the Ivy Leagues to a law degree, who refused to take her husband’s last name, who represented Theranos, is pro-abortion and was nominated to a newly created position by Obama.

It gets worse. Hogan & Hartson was a law firm that did a lot of pro bono work for environmentalists, “civil rights” and such. The pro bono work paid so well that they began opening foreign offices, at which point they merged with Lovells. At least Judge Backus can claim her bad judgment was a one-time mistake. Chutkin has made a career of supporting globalist organizations and causes, which makes her kidglove treatment of a known Deep Stater, spy and terrorist with massive foreign connections extremely suspicious.

Imran and his family were banned from the House computer network in February 2017 after the House’s top law enforcement officer wrote that Imran is .an ongoing and serious risk to the House of Representatives, possibly threatening the integrity of our information systems,. and that a server containing evidence had gone “missing.” The inspector general said server logs showed “unauthorized access” and procurement records were falsified.

The Department of Justice said it could substantiate only the bank fraud charge, despite investigators. findings and other apparent violations in public records . such as the hiding of LLCs, one of which took $100,000 from an Iraqi government minister . on House ethics disclosure forms. Though media outlets reported prosecutors as having “debunked” .conspiracy theories,. the DOJ never explained the discrepancy between their legal conclusion and the evidence at hand, including falsified invoices.

House Odds on Rooftop Koreans

The meme “Rooftop Koreans” came about during my childhood in the Rodney King riots. Despite the actual incident happening well away from downtown Los Angeles, the following riots were (of course) in the urban majority-Americans-of-African-descent districts. Blacks went on a looting spree while the LA mayor held the police back and shamed them for beating a convicted felon who was violently resisting arrest.

Blacks protected their businesses by putting “black owned” signs in their windows. Whites protected their businesses by putting “black owned” signs in their windows. Koreans protected their businesses by posting snipers on the rooftops.

That was my introduction to the concept that races have a certain pecking order. Blacks were on top at the time, hence their ability to get away with the Watts and King riots, but Koreans ranked highly enough (and tended to live in tight-knit Koreatowns) that they got away with the Clint Eastwood approach.

Urbandictionary informs me that Rooftop Koreans also happened in Baltimore.

Every now and then, in publications like People Magazine and Yahoo! News, events happen to reassess the pecking order. Blacks used to own downtown Los Angeles but Latinos (supported by illegal immigration) eventually ethnic-cleansed the blacks out of the region. Only Oakland and a couple other spots in California, mostly prisons, are still controlled by them. When the Leftoids said illegals were going to do the jobs Americans didn’t want to do, I doubt they meant getting rid of the blacks, but it’s the silver lining to my complaints about the migrant problem. I’d much rather live with Mexicans.

An upsetting video of a beauty supply store owner punching a mother in the face is burning up social media.

The viral recording, which surfaced Monday, shows a man identified by police as Changseok Jun, owner of Jun’s Beauty Supply in Tulsa, Okla., punching the woman outside the store Sunday after her child pocketed a small item as the family was walking out the door.

Sergeant Shane Tuell of the Tulsa Police Department tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the attack occurred early Sunday evening when a small child, unbeknownst to his or her mother, took an item from the store without paying.

“Mr. Jun followed the victim outside to confront her, and she threw the item back inside the store, then pushed him in his upper torso as she was leaving,” says Tuell. “Mr. Jun then punched the woman in the right side of her mouth with his closed fist.”

Jun was charged with assault and battery, a misdemeanor, and was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 12. A judge will rule on what happens next, but Tuell says possibilities include a fine or community service. The victim, whose name is not known, has the option to sue Jun.

Looking at the video, that was a very disrespectful throat jab Lakisha executed. No man would give such a “push to the upper torso” without intentionally escalating the situation.

Men understand violence. We can make it practical or insulting or honorable, depending on the situation and our skill. We certainly understand that you never throw the first punch without the acceptance of crossing the line from “no contact” to “contact”. On August 3rd, Christina Thomas, her grandmother and another relative were attacked by multiple salon workers for refusing to pay $5 for a botched eyebrow waxing, according to one witness who posted video of the fight to Facebook.

Salon staffer HuiYue Zheng, 32, was charged with misdemeanor assault for beating Thomas in the back with the wooden stick, according to the criminal complaint.

Thomas, 21, was also arrested for punching, slapping and dragging another salon worker across the floor, according to the criminal complaint.

A Manifesto of SCUM

Set the Wayback Machine to 1968, when cars were made of steel, hippies traded curable STDs and a certain feminist self-published a Rosetta Stone of feminism before attempting to murder comedian Andy Warhol. Valerie Solanas wrote the SCUM Manifesto, a feminist tract deemed too extreme by Betty Freidan yet still beloved of Womens’ Studies sexperts.

SCUM is the Society for Cutting Up Men. Its membership peaked at, per Wikipedia, Solanas alone but with 40 white knight hangers-on. The Society fell apart at its first meeting because Solanas thought the white knights were creepy.

The Manifesto fully justifies the author’s subsequent incarceration for paranoid schizophrenia. However, I was astonished at how much of her SCUM agenda is in the final stages of being enacted upon us today.

Solanas calls for a no-money, automated society because she cannot stand the idea of a man having something she wants. Is the appeal of driverless cars the fact that Barbie is being driven around town by <nobody>? Women want to be controlled but resent the control at the same time… perhaps they see automation as a way to be controlled until they decide otherwise.

Or, maybe Solanas is full of Seriously Helpful Imaginative Thinking.

Fatherhood and Mental Illness: Mother wants what’s best for her kids; Daddy only wants what’s best for Daddy, that is peace and quiet, pandering to his delusion of dignity (`respect’), a good reflection on himself (status) and the opportunity to control and manipulate, or, if he’s an `enlightened’ father, to `give guidance’. His daughter, in addition, he wants sexually — he givers her hand in marriage; the other part is for him. Daddy, unlike Mother, can never give in to his kids, as he must, at all costs, preserve his delusion of decisiveness, forcefulness, always-rightness and strength. Never getting one’s way leads to lack of self-confidence in one’s ability to cope with the world and to a passive acceptance of the status quo. Mother loves her kids, although she sometimes gets angry, but anger blows over quickly and even while it exists, doesn’t preclude love and basic acceptance.

Disease and Death: All diseases are curable, and the aging process and death are due to disease; it is possible, therefore, never to age and to live forever. In fact the problems of aging and death could be solved within a few years, if an all-out, massive scientific assault were made upon the problem. This, however, will not occur with the male establishment because:

But the data is so massive it requires high speed computers to correlate it all. 6. The money systems’ insatiable need for new products. Most of the few scientists around who aren’t working on death programs are tied up doing research for corporations.

Why produce even females? Why should there be future generations? What is their purpose? When aging and death are eliminated, why continue to reproduce? Why should we care what happens when we’re dead? Why should we care that there is no younger generation to succeed us.

Eventually the natural course of events, of social evolution, will lead to total female control of the world and, subsequently, to the cessation of the production of males and, ultimately, to the cessation of the production of females.

A completely automated society can be accomplished very simply and quickly once there is a public demand for it. Washington (CNN)Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faced criticism this week for barring media from attending two of her town hall events in New York that were otherwise open to the public.

Ocasio-Cortez banned media from attending two of her “listening tour” events, Wednesday in the Bronx and Sunday in Corona, Queens, according to local newspaper Queens Chronicle.

“Our community is 50% immigrant. Folks are victims of (domestic violence), trafficking, (and) have personal medical issues,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter on Friday, explaining her decision to shut the media out of her Corona town hall. “This town hall was designed for residents to feel safe discussing sensitive issues in a threatening political time.”

50% ILLEGAL immigrant, ALOC means. She’s already made clear her intentions to implement unlimited immigration. ICE should be crashing her parties like the Phi Tappa Kegga fraternity.

Why do these “victims” want privacy? Don’t victims want their abusers & stories to be made known? Her supporters must be the first elderly people in recorded history to not tell everybody about their personal medical issues. When we gun owners didn’t want the gov’t to know about our guns, they asked us what crimes we had to hide. Then they collected the info anyway and gun-banners proceeded to use that knowledge by saying “Bob Jenkins at this address owns a really nice AR-15”. Thanks for proving us right to be shy, fuckwits.

Now ALOC doesn’t want her meetings with “supporters” to be public info. I don’t know what she has to hide, seeing as even left-leaning Wikipedia admits her Dreams Of My Chairman Mao, which means it must be something even worse. Inquiring minds have a right to know. In fact, why is fricking CNN taking “no” for an answer? Journalists have built entire careers out of exposing the shady deeds of public officials. Speaking on her victory on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez said it was speaking with constituents about issues, instead of focusing on President Donald Trump, that helped her win.

Instead of convincing women to hate President Alpha, she convinces women to grab resources. It’s working for her.

Ocasio-Cortez, who is still paying off student loans, wants to establish tuition-free public college and trade school. She also wants to cancel all student debt.

No self-interest there.

Ocasio-Cortez believes there should be a Federal Jobs Guarantee, creating a “baseline quality for employments that guarantees a minimum $15 wage (pegged to inflation), full healthcare, and paid child and sick leave for all,” according to her website.

…Less than a year ago she was still working as a bartender.

Ocasio-Cortez wants a single payer health care system that would cover medicine, vision, dental, and mental health care.

And the single payer’s name must be “Chad Thundercock who refused to give me a baby”. I support universal mental health care myself because insane asylums are a very good idea. ALOC is only the latest to prove that wisdom.

The premise that asking a young woman for her beliefs on topics such as child care and small gov’t measures her marriageability is fatally flawed. Women are emotional, not rational. Today she sincerely loves you, tomorrow she will sincerely hate you, repeat next week. The assumption that what she believes as an unmarried 18yo indicates what she will believes as a married 38yo is wishful thinking… thinking that the female brain acts just like the male brain, hence the Tradcon reference.

As an alternative, I offer just two questions to gauge her worthiness:

1. Does she have crazy eyes? Incurable STDs? (Since virginity is generally off the table.)

2. Does she refuse to wear pants?

That’s all. A marriage-worthy female knows how to keep her legs together and acts feminine in defiance of peer pressure. That’s all you need for a good start, a salvageable female with a couple healthy habits. None of this “Are you a registered Libertarian” or “is your long-term life goal being a stay-at-home-Mom”. Chicks are great at giving the correct answer. Not so great at meaning it for longer than a month. If you take away nothing else from this article then take away this: don’t ask a female if she’s a good marital risk. Look instead. She’ll tell you whatever you want to hear.

Of course, this is insufficient to ensure a marriage stands the test of time. There is nothing the groom can do or check to ensure that. (Aside from moving her out to the boonies and keeping her busy with 15 children, which has actually become a thing.) This is why good gov’t tracks and enforces the marriage vows. Preventing people from reneging on their agreements is an essential duty of good gov’t. Once she says “I do”, she is not allowed by the authorities to divorce whether she wants it or not. THAT is something that can stand the test of time. That is something the groom can count on.

Which explains a few things in the modern era. Example, why husbands don’t kill their feral wives. The problem is not that wifey wants out–Christ and the saints had to teach “do not divorce” because people routinely get around to wanting out–it’s that gov’t, whose job is to rein in wifey when it happens, rewarded her instead. It’s not treachery when a marriage hits hard times. It’s treachery when those whose job is to cover your back, give you a shove instead.

One-man jihads against the State aren’t going to keep your family intact.

It also explains why unofficial marriage has not caught on with the traditional-thinking folks. “We don’t need government approval to get married!” So you have an informal ceremony with only the priest and God for witnesses, live happily for a few years, then Stella asks Chad for help in getting her groove back. What can hubby do, when there isn’t even a public record of the marriage? Ask Friar Bob to wave a registry book?

There is no replacement for gov’t enforcement of marriage vows. “Gov’t” may not mean civil government specifically here; it can mean Church authority or even the next-door neighbors. Here’s the kicker, though: whatever “gov’t” you choose to enforce marriage must have the power to detect and punish evil. Is your priest going to use the churchyard stockade on the wayward spouse? Are your neighbors willing and capable of tracking down wifey in another state and kidnapping your kids back to you? I’ll guess no. No more than the divorce courts will inflict humiliating punishments upon Barbie pour encourager les autres.

If the authorities of society will not enforce marriage than marriage is dead. Full stop. It’s become nothing more than two people wishing each other well and applying for joint tax status. There is nothing ordinary folks can do to bring it back. This is our leaders’ fault, not ours. Do not advocate ways to “make marriage work regardless”. Advocate the replacement our treacherous, God-hating leaders.

Minimizing the predictors of divorce is like minimizing risks in a casino. That’s good, that’s smart, but if you really were smart then you wouldn’t be there.

The CEO of major online retailing platform Shopify deleted a post detailing the company’s commitment to free speech this week as the company began purging gun-related retailers.

Tobias Lutke, founder and CEO of Shopify, deleted a 2017 post titled “In Support of Free Speech” and republished it with an addendum in a new post, “In Support of Free Speech (Updated).” In the new post, Lutke declared the company’s previous commitment to allowing retailers to use the platform so long as they did not violate any laws because of the brand’s dedication to the principle of free speech “too idealistic and functionally unworkable on the fast moving internet.” Instead, he said Shopify would no longer remain neutral on products legally sold through its platform and instead “will have to make decisions based on judgement.” The company did not elaborate on how it will make those judgements or respond to questions on their decision-making process or which of their more than 600,000 storefronts may be at risk of having their businesses shuttered.

“Solely deferring to the law, in this age of political gridlock, is too idealistic and functionally unworkable on the fast moving internet,” wrote Lutke. “The legislative process is no match for the realities of the internet and has ground to a halt on contentious issues. Some of those issues, such as hateful content, remain legally undefined. Others are legally addressed for a physical world, but pose different and more complicated risks on the internet. So we have found ourselves in a position of having to make our own decisions on some of these issues. And along the way we had to accept that neutrality is not a possibility.”

Sure, liberals. Whatever you want. Just remember, we’ll do it back to you. Heck, we’ve already started:

“I intend to sue, and I invite others to join me as a class,” Wilson said.

Sue them and use the money to build new commerce platforms they have no control over? It’s like we’re using their playbook. Remember, folks, two wrongs don’t make a right but three lefts do. As does a refusal to die when we’re supposed to.

This was a decision of the heart.

I first visited The Opinicon as a kid, when we’d make daily pilgrimages to the resort from a neighbour’s cottage on Newboro Lake to visit the ice cream shop. I had such strong memories of those long summer days that my husband Tobi and I ended up getting our own slice of heaven in the area and once again took up the tradition of taking boat trips down to The Opinicon for dinner, eventually adding our kids to the crew.

Unfortunately, that tradition ended in 2012 when the old resort was shuttered. It was a sad moment for all of us. I remember wondering what was going to happen to the idyllic destination.

Two years later, I found myself staring at a photo of The Opinicon on an auction house website where it had been listed for sale. Like everyone else, I was intensely curious, desperately hoping someone would bring the beautiful old resort back to life. It deserved a chance to shine again.

That.s when we started fantasizing about what we’d do with the place if it were ours. We actually went as far as organizing a viewing and trekking the family out to Chaffey’s Lock to see it. I remember how eerie it felt to be wandering around the shuttered property, but it was clear to me how much magic still lurked behind all the dust and ancient carpeting. I also remember thinking that it would require a mountain of work.

A worthy attempt but Mckean’s feminism was not so easily checked. She’s a definite sicko. Here’s an informative review she wrote:

All of them positive. What are the odds?

In .Christianity, Marriage, Love and Friendship., Michael Carden provides a detailed historical analysis of marriage and marriage-like rituals, including adelphopoiesis, a formalised recognition of friendship. He examines the roles of patriarchy and capitalism in marriage before advocating a renaissance of friendship rituals, rather than adherence to a narrow construction of marriage.

Adelphopoiesis is not part of Christian theology. We have never, and shall never, accept “formalized recognition of very intimate, same-sex friendship”. Burn in Hell for your lies, Mr. Carden. Yes, David and Jonathan were close friends. No, they didn’t bugger each other. You want to see what a happy homosexual union looks like, look at a fag pride parade, not a platonic Bible story of men whom Father “I Wrote Leviticus” God liked. Sodomy is sickening, unhealthy, CURABLE deviancy. Always was. Always will be.

Equality is a lie long since purged of any coherent meaning. It’s not a problem that most places condemn sodomy unless one has already decided that sodomy is a necessary good.

I can’t remember which Australian politician declared it was the personal stories of same-sex couples that finally altered his stance in favour of marriage equality, but I suspect he’s not alone. SEATTLE – Washington state’s penchant for getting high is trashing the place.

Plastic “doob tubes” and small Mylar bags used to package pot are moldering in gutters, bleaching out in landfills and bobbing in waterways.

Concentrated nutrients and fertilizers left over from cannabis growing operations are being dumped in public sewers and making their way past wastewater treatment plants into Puget Sound. And millions of pounds of weed harvest waste that could be composted are instead getting trucked to landfills.

This, in a part of the country that prides itself on being environmentally friendly.

“We’re seeing a lot of marijuana packaging in our public spaces,” said Heather Trim, executive director of Zero Waste Washington, which organizes litter cleanups. “Cannabis packaging is adding to our load, which then gets washed into our lakes and Puget Sound.”

What a surprise: Habitual users of recreational marijuana are litterbugs. One might think they’d be more law-abiding now that there’s one less law to abide by but alas.

Pre-rolled joints, for example, spiked in popularity by 67 percent in just one year, according to BDS Analytics, a cannabis industry data firm. They are sold for as little as $2 and come in small plastic containers. But doob tubes usually cannot be recycled, even when made of recyclable plastic, because their small size means that they fall through the grates of the recycling machines.

We can solve this problem with either buckets or punitive, anti-business legislation. Decisions, decisions….

Every marijuana harvest generates plant matter that cannot be used commercially.

The state requires that landfill-bound harvest leftovers be ground up, mixed with other garbage, bagged and held for days to render it unusable by scavenging smokers. Some rural growers compost their plant waste on site, but Trail Blazin’ Productions is in an urban environment near a methadone clinic. On-site composting is not feasible.

“We keep our garbage in our facility until collection day so the addicts can’t get at it,” [Danielle Rosellison, president of the Cannabis Alliance] said. “We grind it up, mix it 50 percent with stuff like our office garbage and pour bleach or contaminant in there, as well.”

That’s disgusting. See how addictive weed is? See how badly it warps human behavior? Addicts will crawl through dumpsters and smoke anything that looks like devil’s lettuce EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOW LEGAL. I was promised all through the ’80s and ’90s that pot was addictive only because it was illegal. Legalize it, they said, and people will calm down and only smoke recreationally and it was harmless anyway. Lies.

Those poor cancer patients, freebasing cat turds from the landfill because they thought it was a used roach. Weed was too illegal, now it’s too expensive, next it’ll be our newest civil right. You know what we should do? We should teach schoolkids how to root through agricultural waste and identify what’s healthy to consume. They’ll thank us when it comes time to pay back those $100k student loans.

The Hollingsworth Cannabis Co. sells about 40 pounds of marijuana per month, whether as flower or oil. While it uses solar power and compost its plant waste on site, it cannot pay more for packaging. Consumers balk at paying the retail markup.

“I am sitting here looking at all the packaging that goes into weed. Put a pound of weed into a jar, break it down into one-gram units – that’s 454 single jars, tubes, bags,” co-owner Joy Hollingsworth said. “I don’t think there is any true way around this problem, the way the laws were produced in Washington” – specifying the weights in which marijuana can be sold.

I don’t think anybody in authority thought about legalizing weed harder than “Dude, like, we pass this law and won’t get busted or nothin’ no more. Pass me the bong.”

Alex Cooley is co-founder of cannabis operation Solstice and founding president of the Cannabis Alliance. He said the sustainability focus of many cannabis companies has waned as competition has increased. “I’ve never sold so much cannabis for so little money,” he said. “As a result, we’re focused on pennies, and packaging is a big area that is easy to be cut.”

In Washington state, there are more than twice as many producers and processors as retailers, leading to intense competition for shelf space in shops that display marijuana products in glass cases like jewelry.

Everybody wants to grow it. Nobody wants to market it. Hmm. Even Colombian drug lords know better than to use their own junk. But to be fair, this may be the result of restrictive zoning laws.

Consequently, “the packaging is as important to consumers as the product itself,” said Jason McKee, general manager of Ganja Goddess, a retail pot shop in south Seattle.

Therein lies the problem. Many states are studying Washington’s laws to create a safe supply chain. But they, like consumers, are not focused on the combined effect of sending hundreds of millions of plastic tubes and Mylar bags into landfills every year. What’s more, many consumers mistakenly try to recycle that packaging.

“We have all these materials coming online that are not recyclable, and they’re causing contamination in the recycling system,” Trim said. “People assume that they are recyclable and feel that they should be recyclable. But they are not.”

The only viable option, Cooley said, is to make sustainable, recyclable packaging a regulatory requirement for the industry. But some fear that legislating higher production costs could bankrupt cannabis farmers who have difficulty accessing capital.

Leftoids gonna swim left. You can’t afford sustainably recyclable packaging because your product is taxed at 25% ($315m of 1.4b) and not allowed to be sold in bulk. This is obviously the fault of TOO FEW regulatory burdens.

Judge Sarah Backus Covers for Child-Abusing Muslim Terrorists

So much for that “Tender Years” doctrine that claims women are naturally concerned with the welfare of children. I wasn’t going to cover the Muslim terrorist camp found in New Mexico–it was pretty lame even for inbred goat-fuckers–but breaking news, NM Supreme Court Judge Sarah Backus decided there was no reason to keep Muslim terrorists preparing for school shootings in jail pending their trial on multiple violent felony charges because there was no specific threat to “the community”.

And not for the first time.

The state judge who on Monday set a $20,000 bail for five defendants arrested at a remote New Mexico compound where authorities say children were being trained to conduct school shootings has a history of issuing low bail to violent offenders.

Judge Sarah Backus, an elected Democrat, ordered the two men and three women to wear ankle monitors, have weekly contact with their attorneys and not consume alcohol or own firearms while on bail. She said although she was concerned by “troubling facts,. prosecutors failed to articulate any specific threats to the community.

Yo, Bitch-Face Backus, if you’re concerned by “troubling FACTS” then precautions should be taken, yes? Precautions more effective than an ankle bracelet and supervised visitations, as if this was just another frivorce? KOB.com mentions a few of those “troubling facts”:

[Police] presented a letter sent to Siraj Wahhaj from his brother allegedly inviting him to come to New Mexico and die as a martyr. Additionally, Siraj Wahhaj is wanted for child abduction charges in Georgia. He allegedly took his three-year-old son from his mother. The police had initially gone to the compound looking for the boy. Instead, they found the body of a child they have not yet identified as the boy yet.

Police found a dead child in the remote backyard of a man wanted for child kidnapping in another state, possibly not even the same child, but the judge let him out on parole because he’s not a proven threat to society.

Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe said in his testimony that while the initial serving of the search warrant, the tactical team found children holding boxes of ammo. Hogrefe added at least one child told the team he was armed when he was found.

While cross-examining of Hogrefe, the suspects’ defense attorneys each took their chance to try and distance the suspects as far from the weapons as possible, and the connotations of violence they imply. One defense attorney suggested it’s “prudent” that children learn how to use firearms safely, which Hogrefe agreed to.

Not mentioned in the KOB article is the fact that three of the defendants are the children of Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Back to the original article, Monday isn’t the first time Backus has issued low bail for suspects accused of violent crimes against children.

Just last month, she set a $10,000 bond for Rafael Orozco, a 24-year-old Taos man accused of battering his girlfriend, his newborn child and a health care worker at Holy Cross Hospital in September 2016.

Police said Orozco prompted a lockdown at the hospital after punching his girlfriend as she breastfed their newborn in front of a male doctor, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported. Cops said Orozco then grabbed the mother by the throat and slapped the baby.

If I battered a nursing mother and her newborn baby in public then police would be high-fiving themselves over my freshly dead body. I wouldn’t blame them, either, but Orozco apparently managed to escape the hospital lockdown quickly enough for a manhunt instead of a hostage situation. I guess he didn’t pose a “threat to the community”, either, because Backus granted parole.

Orozco escaped a hospital lockdown? That sounds impressive. I know a little about hospital security concerning maternity wards. Panic buttons, fail-secure electronic locks, barred windows, assigned security guards and so on. Nobody takes chances with little kids anymore, at least in California. We know the score about child predators even if we aren’t allowed to do anything about them. The doctor saw this happening but couldn’t secure the ward quickly enough? Hmm.

According to the New Mexico Courts website, Backus was first appointed to the bench in June 2011 by Republican Gov. Susana Martinez. She was elected to the post in 2012 and is expected to remain there until at least 2020.

Prior to her appointment to the bench, Backus . a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of the Law . served as a deputy public defender and deputy Attorney General in San Francisco. She’s lived in Taos since 1994.

Martinez issued a statement after Monday’s hearing saying she “strongly disagreed” with the outcome and Backus. decision.

Martinez’s only motivation here is distancing herself from the likely target of a voter revolt. She knew Backus was dirty from the beginning. This should not need to be said: NEVER GIVE AUTHORITY TO ANYBODY WHO HAS EVER ASSOCIATED WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO CITY GOVERNMENT. Republican Martinez picked a Democrat judge from fricking Sodom and now finds herself “strongly disagreeing” with Backus giving Muslim butchers of children the benefit of freedom. I hope the decent people of New Mexico don’t believe her evasion and recall her along with Bitch-Face.

The Sisterhood is real and stronger than ties of political loyalty.

Several Republican lawmakers are backing a new bill that would further tighten the screws on Chinese “Confucius Institutes” in U.S. colleges and universities.

The bill, S.2583, was introduced by Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Tom Cotton, and is intended to amend two laws in order to make it harder for the Chinese government to infiltrate higher education.

Numerous lawmakers have expressed concerns that Confucius Institutes serve as “proxies for the Chinese Communist Party” on American campuses, pushing “manipulative propaganda campaigns” and using .strings-attached. funding to cow professors into conforming with the Chinese government’s priorities. …

Earlier this month, Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn also blasted the suspicious activity of Confucius Institutes, arguing that the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act, another legislative effort that was introduced last year, will become “an important piece of our overall response” to China’s strategy.

.These institutes are proxies for the Chinese Communist Party,. the lawmaker said at the time. .They offer schools financial benefits in exchange to set up shop in close proximity to U.S. researchers and students whose views they attempt to influence for what are essentially manipulative propaganda campaigns.ones that conveniently whitewash over the Communist regime’s less flattering attributes and their troubling history of human rights abuses and belligerence in places like the South China Sea..

I’m glad to see this effort even if it is blatantly hypocritical. The Feds themselves love to offer our colleges free money with attached strings leading to politically correct sentiments. Maybe the real motivation is the Deep State doesn’t like the Chinese using their own tools on their own turf.

Trump to sign Confucius Institute funding ban

President Trump is about to sign the new National Defense Authorization Act, which will prohibit funding to Chinese-run Confucius Institutes on American campuses.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz added the key amendment to “The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019,. which also restricts funding to universities that host Confucius Institutes and requires them to provide a public record of any agreements or contracts they have with the program, which has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Earlier this week, the White House confirmed that Trump plans to sign the bill during a visit to Fort Drum, New York, according to Fox-28. …

In March, the Central Intelligence Agency issued a classified report labeling the institutes as a threat, according to an unclassified page of the document obtained by The Washington Free Beacon.

“The [Chinese Communist Party] provides .strings-attached’ funding to academic institutions and think tanks to deter research that casts it in a negative light,” the unclassified portion of the report reads. “It has used this tactic to reward pro-China viewpoints and coerce Western academic publications and conferences to self-censor. The CCP often denies visas to academics who criticize the regime, encouraging many China scholars to preemptively self-censor so they can maintain access to the country on which their research depends.”

The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019, passed by both the House and Senate and now sitting on President Trump’s desk, would address the issue of Chinese government-sponsored Confucius Institutes on American college campuses. A key amendment put forward by Texas Senator Ted Cruz would prohibit funding under the act to any Confucius Institute and restrict funding to any college or university that has a Confucius Institute.

The National Association of Scholars supports this policy change, and we thank Senator Cruz for his leadership on this issue.

Confucius Institutes are centers on college campuses funded and largely staffed by the Chinese government. Our 2017 report, Outsourced to China, found that Confucius Institutes restrict academic freedom and present a whitewashed version of China. Since then, FBI Director Christopher Wray and others have raised concerns that Confucius Institutes may be engaged in espionage.

We call on all colleges and universities to close their Confucius Institutes at once. Senator Cruz’s amendment is a step toward incentivizing colleges and universities to part ways with Confucius Institutes.

Notice that SFSU wants to integrate Confucius Institute with K-12 education as well as formal gov’t (aka “community”) activities. No wonder it got awarded direct ties to Beijing.

Tenants should not fear calling for help

Every day, tenants across California face difficult decisions that put the need for housing security at odds with the need to live a secure and happy life. One of the most dangerous predicaments tenants face is the threat of eviction for seeking emergency service.
This is what Suzannah Doe encountered in 2016 after her boyfriend hit her in the face, loaded a gun, and threatened to shoot her. Suzannah called 911, and the police report clearly noted she feared for her life and thought her boyfriend was going to kill her. Astonishingly, the police notified Suzannah’s landlord that criminal activity occurred at her residence, and she was evicted from her home.

Not knowing her real name or immigration status, this opening gives the impression that police everywhere inexplicably side with abusive boyfriends over helpless nuns. Most likely, these predominately female tenants are human trash attracting more human trash.

Suzannah.s story is all too familiar for Californians who live in areas with crime free ordinances that allow, and sometimes even encourage, landlords to evict tenants after receiving a notice of criminal activity. These local mandates.also known as nuisance ordinances.are intended to ensure quiet and safe communities. However, they do not take into account who was the perpetrator of the crime and who was the victim. In reality, they often punish everyday Californians simply for reaching out for help in an emergency.

Do you remember, liberals, telling us for decades that “poverty causes crime”? Because here is a liberal Jew in a major publication implying that poor people shouldn’t be automatically treated as criminals.

Why do people have problems with landlords evicting tenants after being notified of criminal activity? Should landlords aid & abet criminal activity instead?

In the context of California’s housing and homelessness crisis, evicting some of our most vulnerable residents is only contributing to a cycle of poverty and homelessness. Compounding this issue is the fact that nuisance evictions disproportionately impact women and low-income communities of color.

That was a quick answer. Local mandates favoring high-trust community residents are shutting out the deadbeats, migrant ghettos and street gangs… and the women who facilitate such dyscivic conduct.

Reports show that violence against women is a leading cause of homelessness.

Remember your basic Red Pill training: chicks dig jerks. Women incentivize bad behavior in men because drama, tingles, spendy habits and recreational drugs. Because feral women cannot be banned, local governments are instead banning the direct, associated consequences of feral women. All in the name of safer communities, of course, which sells the idea to the overly caring, female voter.

…California law attempts to lessen the negative impacts of nuisance ordinances, but the law is narrow in scope leaving many Californians without protections. Victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, or elder or dependent adult abuse are shielded from eviction but only under limited circumstances. Tenants must have a recent temporary restraining order, emergency protective order, or written report by a peace officer to qualify for legal protections. These strict documentation requirements almost render existing law ineffective as it is widely known that instances of domestic violence and abuse go largely unreported.

Oh, look! Actually innocent people already enjoyed legal protections before this new law. That means the purpose of this new law is to override local governments’ attempts to cleanse their neighborhoods of hood rats. Please God, let this lead to civil disobedience.

How housing ordinances are making poverty a crime

…Today, in the United States, the poor are often punished simply because they are poor, and especially if they are people of color. Low-income children are arrested for minor schoolyard scuffles instead of being sent to the principal’s office. [Especially if they’re bullies of color?] Recipients of public benefits are charged with fraud because they made mistakes filling out government forms. Cities use vagrancy laws to banish the homeless. [No shit!] And in an estimated 2,000 local municipalities across 44 states, police can order landlords to evict people they consider “chronic nuisances” because they rack up a certain number of petty infractions as small as forgetting to cut their grass, leaving garbage out on their property, or having practically any arrest on their record.

Nuisance laws are an advanced application of the “broken window” policing pioneered in New York City. It works well for the same reason the Drug War works well: the people who commit violent crimes are the same people who trash their homes, use meth, party late and, well, smash windows.

If “broken window” policing overwhelmingly targets non-whites then it’s statistical proof that nonwhites don’t belong in our clean, disease-free, First-World country.

Note Mr. Edelman’s elitist arrogance. Poor people can’t fill out a form correctly before signing it “under penalty of perjury”? Do vagrancy laws prohibit homeless shelters? Does poverty force people to leave garbage on untended lawns despite their best efforts?

These “chronic nuisance” or .crime-free. ordinances are some of the most troubling examples of the criminalization of poverty. In the United States, they date to the 1980s and the War on Drugs, when city councils first began allowing police to seize crack houses without a trial. [Houses don’t have civil rights.] Over time, the laws proliferated and evolved, and today, police departments have wide latitude to choose when and where to enforce the ordinances. Too often they are turned on victims, rather than on their assailants.

Translation, nuisance laws target thug-loving women instead of only the thugs she attracts. Stop the presses, somebody is telling a woman “No”!

Take Lakisha Briggs, a certified nurse’s assistant in Norristown, Pennsylvania. In 2012, Norristown classified anyone who called 911 three times in four months a .nuisance.” In April of that year, after several 911 calls, the police came to arrest Briggs’s abusive boyfriend, but they warned her that if she called again she and her daughter would be evicted; even calls from concerned neighbors would count against her. Later, when her former boyfriend returned from prison, he continued the abuse. .I had no choice but to let him stay,. she told a reporter. That June, when he knocked her unconscious and stabbed her in the neck with a shard of glass from a shattered ashtray, she still refused to call the police and ended up wandering outside until someone saw her and called a trauma team to medevac her to a nearby hospital. A few days later, she was evicted.

Thank you Baby Jesus, that example is perfect for this discussion. It’s a simple story here: Lakisha is an obvious hybristophiliac, a woman who has sexual reactions to being beaten by her lover. She keeps calling the police to rescue her when the hot sex battery goes too far but refuses to ever press charges. “I had no choice,” she sobs while fingering herself under the table. “He’s an artist at choking me.”

It’s an old, old story: the truly battered women never testify. It drives cops nuts. They do all the work–witnesses, X-rays, cameras, his fingerprints in her blood spattered on the wall–and then “Lakisha” is so desperate for another awesome fucking that she protects him from prosecution. Is it any wonder that the cops got tired of responding and want the bitch gone? She attracts thugs like garbage attracts flies.

Is there any reason a landlord should be forced to put up with such a nuisance? Or even be allowed to? The neighborhood belongs to the neighbors, too.

…Under President Obama, the government brought national attention to this issue, as well as to the criminalization of poverty more generally.

The criminalization of feral women, he means. Generational poverty is caused primarily by badly behaved women who frivorce the productive men and reward the parasite men with sex. Others have already explained the statistical connections between monogamy and prosperity. This is not a perfect system but until our zeitgeist changes, guess what, “poor people”. If you leave trash strewn across your lawn then you’re gone, you and your ghetto girl du jour. What a burdensome demand!

…In February, Jeff Sessions’s Justice Department announced that it would no longer press local municipalities to comply with federal guidance documents.

I wish Trump would dismantle the Deep State instead of reining it in. He needs to make the Federal government incapable of forcing such compliance instead of merely putting an honest sort like Sessions in charge. Fortunately, the quick spread of nuisance laws is a good sign that organized civil disobedience is rising. Local governments are already learning to play the liberal games of class/race warfare.
