I wasn’t going to cover the story of Alison Ettel because it was one of them “virtue signaling dilemmas”. A San Francisco feminist called the cops on a 8yo black girl selling bottled water without a business license. Who’s the victim? Should society care more about female empowerment or black privilege? I expected the resolution of this would take months of virtue-signaling while BLM and MeToo fight each other like Highlander immortals.

Ettel was interviewed and said then that her business “is growing ” by about two customers each day . despite its questionable legality..

And then she causes trouble for a little kid raising pocket money. I can read between the lines. “I almost went to jail before the gov’t let me get a permit for my roach habit. And you just sell stuff in public with no fear of the cops at all? I’m gonna turn you in, little girl.”

You know I never thought of that hellish fury coming back upon scorned woman…but this shows it can.
She has two masters degrees and worked as a researcher for Brookings, yet did not understand her place in the hierarchy of the oppressed? Her feminist upbringing has led her astray on this.
It’s an indoctrination fail. She’s done everything right. It should have gone her way. Fat woman with multiple academic credentials and a CEO label, squeezed into yoga pants (why do they all do this?) to highlight the fact she should be wearing a Mu-mu , gets PTSD from hearing a child selling water bottles on the street too loudly. All her life to this point has trained her to understand that she is the SIW in charge, and that her will cannot be thwarted. But it’s a child, of color.
People – there’s a rank order to these things. Smart, strong, fierce, independent white women are not at the top any longer.
