Tonight (eh, early AM tomorrow) is a lunar eclipse of a supermoon, also a blue moon. Those of us who live alone can easily head outside to enjoy it 3:48am-7:11am.
I hope my boss won’t have anything taxing for my brain tomorrow….

Ugh .. I’m rat on the border of the eastern & central time zones .. We should have clear & cold skies in the morning.
Enjoy the viewing.
I should be up by then to view it. Nobody complains when I get up before the crack of dawn.
I only caught parts of it.
Good enough for me. It’s been years since I stayed up & wouldn’t miss a star gazing opportunity.
The last good night in the elements I spent out with a tele-scope was the summer (July 7th ish) of 2016 in Jackson Hole / Grand Tetons in Wyoming. You don’t need a tele-scooe to see the Milky Way Galaxy ring .. it stands out with the naked eye very clearly. That was a great but chilly night.
Wouldn’t you know it, the lunar eclipse comes out and I get sick. Not even lycanthropy, which would have been cool. It might be a couple days before I post again.
Get well GQ .. spring is about to show itself.
I’m so far south that the sun was already up when the eclipse peaked (and I didn’t get a total eclipse here). Anyway: None of you guys posted pix? Lame!
(re: Lame)
lol Boxer .. I was driven to work when I got my best view .. I had high clouds before that ob-screwing* my view .. [that’s my story and I’m sticking to it .. lol].
*soul-less-too-ale-sex ruined my view
