Did the Methodists Torch Malibu?

Woolsey Fire Malibu

[Lost original source; this is an overview and basically, the Associated Press feed.]

The city of Malibu is under a mandatory evacuation order as the Woolsey fire threatens the communities of Calabasas and Malibu, covering as much as 8,000 acres as of Friday morning.

The city tweeted that the evacuation affects areas between the Ventura county line and Malibu Canyon.

All Santa Monica Unified School District schools and Pepperdine University are closed. There is also a power outage in the Big Rock neighborhood, which is outside the immediate evacuation area.

The area under mandatory evacuation includes the exclusive communities of Paradise Cove, Point Dume, Broad Beach and Malibu West.

Update, the city of Paradise has been reported destroyed.

The 101 freeway is closed as the both the Hill and Woolsey fires have jumped the freeway near Camarillo as well as in Agoura Hills near Malibu. The fast-moving Hill fires started near the community of Thousand Oaks, which was in the midst of grappling with the Wednesday night shooting that killed 12 at the Borderline nightclub.

The Thousand Oaks shooting is not remarkable–white male veteran, raised by a single mother, still lived with his mother and had regular, loud arguments with her, finally flipped out and wasted a roomful of random skanks with a high-powered fully automatic ASSAULT GUN OHMIGAWD THINK OF THE CHILDREN handgun. All you need to know.

So, this is a big fire that has a good chance of wiping the wealthy enclave of Maliby off the map. I know from personal experience that the terrain there is extremely rugged, steep and covered in tinder. What caused it? Arson is always a possibility these days. Some are blaming the electric company:

PG&E power lines may have sparked deadly Camp Fire, according to radio transmissions

Company reported a transmission line outage about 15 minutes before the fire was reported

https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/11/09/pge-power-lines-may-have-sparked-deadly-butte-county-wildfire-according-to-radio-transmissions/

PARADISE . Downed PG&E power lines, amid high winds, may have sparked the deadly Camp Fire that has destroyed the town of Paradise and killed at least nine people, according to hours of firefighter radio transmissions reviewed by Bay Area News Group.

At about 6:33 a.m. Thursday, firefighters were dispatched to a vegetation fire “under the high tension power lines” across the Feather River from Poe Dam, where Cal Fire officials have pinpointed the fire’s origin, according to the transmissions. The first firefighters arrived there at 6:43 a.m and noted the fire was being buttressed by 35 mph winds.

.We.ve got eyes on the vegetation fire. It’s going to be very difficult to access, Camp Creek Road is nearly inaccessible,. one firefighter told dispatch. .It is on the west side of the river underneath the transmission lines..

As firefighters rushed to Poe Dam early Thursday morning, each truck acknowledged over the radio, .Copy, power lines down,. as part of safety protocol for firefighters.

The utility, which already has been criticized and sued in a number of other large and deadly fires across California, had announced two days earlier that it might shut down power to parts of Butte County amid forecasts of high wind and low humidity. But it never did.

I once investigated a rumor that Governor Moonbeam had withheld funding for brush clearance around rural electrical lines. To my surprise, Moonbeam’s defense that the counties had barely touched the earmarked fund proved correct and that post didn’t get written. Although it’s curious the fund was made available to counties rather than the utility companies directly.

Pacific Gas & Electric and other electrical utilities will probably be sued out of business within the next five years and their infrastructure seized by the State whether or not it’s at fault. There’s a lot of lawsuits being directed at them… utilities have famously deep pockets for lawsuits… but too many are too greedy.

Cal Fire spokesman Scott McLean emphasized the cause is still under investigation but added that the probe would include “electrical equipment..

PG&E disclosed in a Friday filing to the state Public Utilities Commission that it had detected an outage on a transmission line in Butte County, occurring about 15 minutes before the fire was first reported. It said a subsequent aerial inspection detected damage to a transmission tower on that same transmission line a mile northeast of the town of Pulga “in the area of the Camp Fire.” That is the approximate location of Poe Dam. …

On Thursday morning, after the first radio call, an immediate, multi-alarm response was sent to the area along Pulga and Camp Creek roads, near the dam that is popular with kayakers and one of PG&E.s 10 hydroelectric stations along the north fork of the river. Google satellite images show PG&E transmission lines above Pulga and Camp Creek roads.

Faulty electrical equipment plus high winds and a decade-long drought are certainly a possible cause. But I have some familiarity with the Malibu area and frankly, I’ve been waiting a year for this fire to happen because of another likely cause: the Methodist Church.

Malibu church ‘pressured to end meals for the homeless’ because it ‘lures the needy’

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/malibu-church-homeless-free-meals-stopped-too-many-needy-people-order-latest-a8075891.html

By Andrew Buncombe, 25 November 2017

A church in upmarket Malibu has decided to stop providing free meals for those in need after claiming they were told by officials they were attracting too many homeless people.

The United Methodist Church, one of many churches that provides food and help, has been offering free meals twice a week. But it said it was going to stop after being told the meal service was luring too many homeless people.

Dawn Randall, a member of the church, said it recently received an email from city officials. .Very succinctly, they claimed we are increasing homelessness,. she told CBS.

You get more of what you subsidize. This is the hard part of Christian charity, giving actual help to people legitimately in need. It takes both a warm heart and a cold head.

Reports suggest that the California city of Malibu, famed for its gorgeous beaches and multi-million dollar homes, has a growing problem with homelessness, an issue that was met with both charity and taxpayer money.

The Los Angeles Times said the city, which has a population of 13,000, has roughly 180 homeless residents, but no shelter or housing for poor people.

The United Methodist Church and Standing on Stone, a Christian group, had been hosting twice-weekly homeless dinners on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

But the newspaper said once the metro line to Santa Monica opened last year, a number of residents complained that mentally-ill and other homeless people were camping at the beach and entering schools.

Cheap, fast transportation has done more to doom humanity than any force in human history, excepting telecommunications.

.A homeless person was taking a shower in the girls locker room in middle school – that wasn’t real good,. Gary Peterson, a retired developer, told the newspaper. .Providing dinner is a nice thing to do and a good thing, but it’s the location..

At a public hearing this week, Malibu Mayor Skylar Peak denied making the order and apologised for any miscommunication.

.No they were never formally asked to stop feeding the homeless,. said Mr Peak. .Not at all..

Neither the church or Mr Peak immediately responded to inquiries.

So, the Methodist witches were informally asked to stop feeding the homeless but a combination of care-based morality, scorn for the (other) rich people in the area and ignorance of cause and effect led them to point-and-shriek. Prudent gov’t officials try to do things informally rather than throw down their full weight at the start of an issue but women only respect the exercise of power.

Great food, beaches, weather: Being homeless in Malibu has some perks

It might be the nation’s best homeless meal.

The starter course on this night is centered around a selection of pizza slices, artisan bread and charcuterie. The entree is a choice of homemade stew, beef or chicken, along with Persian rice, roasted organic vegetables, green salad and cornbread, accompanied by a subtle, home-spiced pasta soup. Dessert is cherry pie.

It.s all served at sunset in an elegant patio, accompanied by light strands draped tastefully between trees and the salty whiff of the nearby Pacific Ocean.

Being homeless in Malibu has its perks.

YOU GET MORE OF WHAT YOU SUBSIDIZE!

Every Wednesday, these weekly dinners at the Malibu United Methodist Church and Nursery School . with food supplied by a neighborhood organic market and prepped by local volunteers . draws up to 100 transients. Most sleep somewhere in Malibu, but some take the bus from Santa Monica or Venice.

The church and the patio where dinner is served sits on a hill overlooking Zuma Beach, just down a curved road from Lady Gaga’s $23 million mansion.

It.s an uneasy fit. … Tensions are high enough that the transients who bus in try to stay out of sight until dinner. They don’t want to be spotted by parents picking up their toddlers from the adjacent nursery school, sightings that might prompt complaints to local sheriff’s deputies.

On Nov. 6, Malibu Mayor Skylar Peak and Councilman Rick Mullen asked the dinner’s founder and main cook, Kay Gabbard, to end the meals for at least a five-month period, starting after Thanksgiving. They want to see if the free meal has any effect on local crime.

Cue the witches’ point-and-shriek.

According to Los Angeles County figures, there are approximately 5,500 homeless people in the West Los Angeles area, including 900 in Santa Monica and more than 1,000 in Venice. In Malibu, the official count found about 180 homeless people, but more recent estimates peg the number at closer to 300.

Sandy Liddell, pastor of Malibu United Methodist, said she hopes to cut a deal with the city that won’t hurt the people who make the Wednesday night pilgrimage for nourishment and fellowship.

.A lot of people don’t like this. They don’t like all the people walking by and they don’t feel safe,. Liddell said. .We’re working hard to keep it open..

Jesus didn’t betray his neighbors to help the next town’s parasites. There’s a right way to do charity and a wrong way: this is the wrong way, risking your neighbors for the benefit of other societies’ parasites.

In 2016, the city experienced its highest property crime rate in the past 10 years, including decade-long highs in theft and motor vehicle theft, and an eight-year high in burglaries. But the raw numbers are so low to begin with . comparable to per capita crime rates in similarly affluent Laguna Beach . that the spikes are the kind of relatively small jumps that would make other Southern California cities envious.

Let’s not jump to conclusions….

Many of the arrests made in Malibu are for low level crimes that garner little, if any, jail time.

Since 2013, deputies made less than 1,000 arrests or citations for issues such as public intoxication and assignments . voluntary and involuntary . to psychiatric facilities. Deputies also have issued about 250 citations for illegal camping, mostly to homeless people, as well as citations for panhandling, fighting, criminal threats and urinating in public.

…Aaaand it’s the homeless.

By halting the Methodist kitchen, Malibu officials hope to be able to look at whether the crimes fall or rise and, perhaps, connect them with the city’s transients, Councilman Mullen said. The city is also considering whether there is a better place for the dinners.

Both are reasonable concerns and voluntary cooperation with a temporary charity shutdown would have been in the church’s best interests. Now they’re at risk for the legislative Ban Hammer.

.They’re worried that the riff raff is going to come here from Santa Monica and start staying,. said Wayne Salte, 53, a former construction worker who lives homeless in Santa Monica.

.But every one of the people here will be on the bus back there tonight. There’s nothing up here, so they’ve got to go back to town where they can panhandle and make money..

But Salte said Santa Monica has launched its own sweeps after discovering its transient population had grown by 26 percent over the previous 12 months. Salte said police in that city are issuing more tickets and fines to the homeless. Santa Monica police did not respond to calls for comment.

I’ve seen this happen in the Bay Area. When San Jose purges their homeless, they do it by purchasing them bus tickets to Santa Cruz instead of paying for their incarceration in local jail. Santa Cruz sends them to Salinas. Salinas sends them to Berkeley. Berkeley teaches them how to make bombs out of their piss.

The article goes on to list several interesting accounts of Malibu homelessness. I recommend following the link. A year later, reading today about a fire that started along the shore of one of the area’s few remaining rivers, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t a cooking or warmth fire started by the homeless that got out of control. Homeless that might well have been attracted there by free buffets twice a week.

Whether infrastructure or population, California is failing. The feminist/Social Justice agenda with its hatred of unsexy men is causing massive, systemic problems across the state, problems such as city-burning wildfires, and our leaders, thus far, have been content to watch the world burn. Their luxury homes in Malibu are safe.

Or, maybe not. Things might change if Lady Gaga watches her third favorite investment house burn down. Or if God decides to burn a few witches at the steak.

Physiognomy: A.I. News Anchor

China has come out with a new State TV news anchor, an artificial intelligence based on a real guy. Who can pass up the chance to read the face of a computer? Of course, the computer’s image is whatever it’s programmed to be but we can see what Party official think makes a good news anchor. Usual disclaimer for me reading a non-white face.

For example, I was expecting a female. It makes good sense to automate a female talking head, as there’s no loss of IQ, the boobs always stay perky, you don’t have to pay her and the network can sell royalty-free “action figures”. The selection of a man is a good traditional/patriarchal indicator, or rather, the PRC Party has yet to embrace feminism at the upper levels.

Chinese State-Controlled News Agency Reveals AI News Anchor

Chinese AI anchor on Xinhua

.Hello everyone. I’m an English artificial intelligence anchor. This is my very first day in Xinhua News Agency. My voice and appearance are modelled on Zhang Zhao, a real anchor with Xinhua,. declared the A.I. anchor in a video released by Xinhua. .The development of the media industry calls for continuous innovation and deep integration with the international advanced technologies. I will work tirelessly to keep you informed as texts will be typed into my system uninterrupted. I look forward to bringing you the brand new news experiences..

The face shape–broad head and cheeks, narrow chin–has a number of names but is associated with loyalty and success in business. The middle third of his face is prominent, indicating ambition and status. (This mainly achieved by his haircut.) I’ve heard this face shape is highly prized in Chinese culture.

The eyes have the drooping canthus (hard to see in this pic) that indicates good observation skills and is generally highly valued in Chinese physiognomy, being more concerned with success in life than personality traits. Dramatic eyebrows give the viewer an impression of confidence. Chin and eyeglasses are fairly neutral. Because eyeglasses aren’t needed on an AI construct, they were probably added to give an impression of intelligence. Intelligence is correlated with near-sightedness; this is often exaggerated in media to the point of super-genius being demonstrated with the proverbial coke-bottle glasses.

Nose is straight and thin, which denotes interest in logic and technical subjects over people, which is not a nose one would expect a journalist to have. But the nostrils aren’t pinched so he’s not avoidant to people, either.

I was expecting the ears to have larger earlobes, which is associated with wealth in Chinese physiognomy because wealth was originally displayed with earrings. (This is why stereotypical Buddha’s ears have earlobes so large, they sometimes resemble bananas.) So, the designers probably wanted to give the impression of modest economic means. The rounded shoulders bulked up by a good suit would confirm that, I think.

The designers included the habit of most people to be more guarded in expression on the right (external) side of the face than the left (internal). The pull of the lips to the right is regularly associated with this.

Overall, Robo-Xinhuan is an ambitious, reliable salaryman who hasn’t quite attained his predicted level of success.

Douglas Wilson’s Convergence of Christianity

The global Christian Church is going to be Converged into a single, monolithic religion. False Protestants will join with false Catholics, which will require common ground. Douglas Wilson has been laying the groundwork for this Convergence since 2002 with the introduction of “Federal Vision”.

A quick summation: Federal Vision is the idea that Christianity is a public recognized (read: State-granted) status separate from acceptance of Christ as a savior. An adulterous, cruel husband is still a husband; a Godless, immoral Christian is still a Christian. Applying this doctrine to the Protestant world will make Protestantism compatible with (false) Catholicism by necessitating a centralized registry of Christians. Instead of accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness, becoming a Christian shall be linked to the practice of Baptism. If you’re baptized then you’re a Christian, maybe not an ideal one but you’re certainly in the club.

Despicable heresy. And Pastor Douglas Wilson, despite claims to the contrary, has been unrepentant on this since participating in the 2002 church summit that first produced “Federal Vision” doctrine.

Let’s begin with Wikipedia:

The central distinctive of the Federal Vision is its view of the covenant. In keeping with the historic Reformed understanding of Covenant Theology, Federal Vision proponents argue that God has had two covenants with humanity throughout history: the first pre-Fall and the second post-Fall. The second covenant was progressively expanded throughout the Old Testament in various advanced covenants (Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic and Davidic), and reached its climax with Jesus and the New Covenant.

In Christian terms a covenant is simply “I will do this and you will do that.” It’s different from a contract in that it’s unconditional, ex. no payment for services rendered.

There was no pre-fall Covenant. There’s simply nothing in Genesis 1-3 that could possibly construe one. Neither do I see how the successive covenants are progressive revelations of a super-covenant.

Noahic covenant: I won’t drown all humanity like rats again. The rainbow shall be proof of this.

Abrahamic covenant: God would create the nation and people of Israel. Abraham would snip them. (circumcision)

Mosaic covenant: You will obey these 613 laws. I will give you victory, prosperity and… what are you doing with that golden calf?

Davidic covenant: God promises to have David’s baby. (Jesus)

They’re very distinct covenants.

What distinguishes the Federal Vision from other interpretations of Covenant Theology is its view of the nature of the covenant, namely that the covenant is “objective” and that all covenant members are part of God’s family whether or not they are decretally elect.

Translation, Federal Vision says being a Christian is an external, State-recognizable status. No wonder saner theologians freaked out at this. None of know who is truly Christian except for ourselves.

There is no New Testament, Christian covenant. What we have is the Abrahamic covenant opened up to all races instead of just the Jews, and that via belief. “Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.” However, we Gentiles (non-Jews) are fully exempt from the Mosaic covenant. It was never given to us and the apostles were very clear that it was not a precursor to salvation or good standing. This debunks the theory that there is one “super-covenant” for all believers.

Douglas Wilson has noted six foundational tenets of the New Perspectives on Paul [a related philosophy]. He affirms the correctness of:

  1. Justification by faith was present in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.
  2. Faith and works are not opposed to one another in the Bible. Faith was always present, even in the Old Testament. The Jews were not trying to earn anything by works.
  3. Law and grace are not opposed to one another, or that the Old Testament was mostly law and the New Testament was mostly grace.

#2 On the list is the old faith-versus-works issue. This is way harder than it needs to be. You cannot purchase salvation, it’s that simple. Almighty God values nothing you possess or can do. This is why salvation is, and must be, an unearned gift.

Works are evidence of your faith. God knows whether you truly believe but your neighbor does not, and will judge you by your actions. If your actions do not align with your beliefs then there’s obviously something wrong, yes?

Wilson says faith and works are not opposed but what he means is “salvation by faith” and “salvation by works” are not opposed. That’s the implication of #3 on the list… the Mosaic Law having been used by the Pharisees as the source of salvation in place of grace.

A review of Wilson’s book on Federal Vision:

Image 1

https://canonpress.com/reformed-is-not-enough/

Membership in the Christian faith is objective and it can be photographed and fingerprinted. When we are baptized, we are ushered into an objective, visible, covenant relationship. In baptism, God names us and imposes gracious obligations on us. Our baptism sets us apart as Christians.

However, many conscientious conservative Christians do not appear to believe what God has said in their baptism, so let’s look at it another way: suppose a husband is committing adultery. Is he still a husband? Being a husband is not just a state of mind; it’s not just a private decision. Being a husband is a public relationship made from a public exchange of vows, an objective covenant. An adulterous husband is a covenant-breaking husband, but still a husband. Being a husband is what makes his infidelity so horrendous.

In the same way, when people are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, they are ushered into a covenant relationship with God and His Church. Regardless of the state of their hearts, regardless of any hypocrisy, regardless of whether or not they mean it, baptism sets them apart as visible saints and Christians.

I don’t know if Wilson wrote this but it’s an excellent summary of Federal Vision as far as I could corroborate. The website also has a sample of his book that I’ll dig into soon. But first:

Membership in Christ is not objective. I wish very much that it was, so that our leaders could be certified 100% to not be false shepherds.

Baptism is not a requirement for salvation. Romans 10:9. The purpose of the dunking in water thing is a public declaration of faith in Christ, not the creation of faith in Christ. If there was any truth in the sentence “Regardless of the state of their hearts, regardless of any hypocrisy, regardless of whether or not they mean it, baptism sets them apart as visible saints and Christians” then we Christians would be melting the polar icecaps with nuclear reactors.

This imagination of a husband being a permanent state achieved via a one-time wedding vow and existing apart from behavior is an excellent analogy to what Wilson & Friends want to accomplish with Federal Vision theology. One notes that a husband wholly emasculated by the State and clergy is still The Husband; even if his wife gets bored and takes another lover, husband is still held to be The Husband. A great way to justify chilamony.

Foreword

On June 22, 2002, Covenant Presbytery of the RPCUS declared that certain teachings at a pastors. conference presented by Steve Schlissel, Steve Wilkins, John Barach and [me] involved a “fundamental denial of the essence of the Christian Gospel in the denial of justification by faith alone.” Consequently, the four of us were declared to be heretics. …

The charges assumed (which is incidentally not the same thing as proved) that the positions taken by the speakers were “contrary to the Bible and the Westminster Standards.. As a result, in the following pages, there is a closer interaction with the teaching of the Westminster Confession than there would have been otherwise.
This was not done in order to “get around” anything in the historic Reformed faith, but rather the reverse. It is our conviction that certain epistemological developments since the Enlightenment have caused many modern conservative Calvinists to read their confessions in a spirit alien to that which produced them.

This is a DARVO. Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender.

As a result, we were taken to task for denying our confessional heritage at just those places where we were in fact upholding it. This of course does not make us right.as the Westminster theologians themselves told us, and as Steve Schlissel continues to tell us in a loud voice. Something can be “confessional” and wrong. But we are like the obedient boy in the parable.we say the confession could be wrong, but then we affirm the confession.

That is dishonest. If the confession is wrong then one shouldn’t affirm it. If that means you lose your highly compensated seat of honor, so be it.

Apart from the specific charges, what exactly is going on here? Which worldviews are colliding? …

The answer is found in a contrast we have used many times.medieval versus modern. We believe ourselves to be in the process of recovering what our fathers taught from the Reformation down to the Enlightenment.that is, a Reformed and medieval mindset. We believe our opponents to be sincere and honest Christians, but men who have erroneously made a bad truce with modernity and who have accommodated their theology to the abstract dictates of the Enlightenment.

If you substitute “Protestant” for modern/Enlightenment and “Catholic” for medieval then you reach my conclusion. Wilson is looking for a way to undo the Reformation. (I am not criticizing Catholicism here; I’m criticizing a declared Prot leader for trying to undermine his own branch of Christianity.)

Chapter 1: Judas Was a Christian?

No. Buy my book?

The Church today is in dire need of reformation. This is not said with any denominational exclusivity. Reformed churches today need reformation as much as anyone else. I say this as one who embraces the richness of the Reformed faith, as will become apparent enough later. But at the same time, because of this Reformational commitment, it is still necessary to say that to be Reformed is not enough. We must certainly live up to what we have already attained, but together with this we must not be allowed to assume that the last significant attainment was in the middle of the seventeenth century. Semper reformanda is not something we should all chant together right up until someone actually tries it.

What we have long believed is no longer suitable for Current Year! Don’t be distracted by Wilson’s talk of Reformed churches and other denomination-speak. His Federal Vision heresy is greater than his particular corner of the Church.

One of the great reformational needs in the Church today is the need for us to understand the objectivity of the covenant, and so that is the thrust of this book. Because this covenant is our life, we are called to understand it, embody it, and love the members of it. Not surprisingly, in order to do this, we will have to clear away a good bit of theological debris, which is what I am seeking to do here.

This validates the Wikipedia entry.

The first question we must consider is this: What is a “Christian” when we use the word in the New Testament sense? Considered from one angle, this question is one of the most important questions a man can ask himself. Tied in with it are all the related questions about God, man, sin, salvation, and revelation. Additionally connected are all the great questions concerning a man’s destiny after his course in this life is over.

Christian means “Christ-like” or “little Christ”. That is why we who believe in Christ are called Christians. Nothing in the Bible gives the slightest support to the idea that being a Christian and believing in Christ might be two separate concepts but Wilson disagrees:

[Extraneous verbiage omitted. Wilson speaks to NOT be clearly understood. Boldface mine as usual.]

The Scriptures say very little about the word Christian, which occurs in only three places. And in none of these places is the word used in the way we tend to use it. Our application of the word is certainly a legitimate one, which should be defended and continued, but only if we understand what we are doing.

This is a very serious charge, that Christians have been misusing the word “Christian” since Biblical times.

The first usage in the Bible is a simple reference to what the followers of Christ came to be called.by outsiders. The Scripture tells us that the word Christian first came to be applied to the church at Antioch, which consisted of the followers of Christ in that city. “And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26). In this passage, the word is used in the same way other nouns are used.to distinguish one thing from another. Just as we indicate the differences between tables and airplanes by giving them different names, so the pagans of Antioch decided to distinguish the Christians from the Jews and from the many other religious groups that swirled around the empire of that time. No statement was being made about the great questions mentioned above as they might have applied to an individual member of that church.

The Christians were distinct from the Jews and other groups because of those beliefs. Show me a group of people who don’t believe in Christ and I will label them “not Christians” even if their behavior is the exact same.

In fact, I do that all the time at church. Not everybody there is a Christian even though most/all claim to be and appear to be.

The second instance is also found in the book of Acts. “And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. (Acts 26:24.29)

In this instance, the context is the presentation of the gospel to those who had not heard or believed it. The apostle wanted them to consider these things, and since the charge had been given to him (along with the other apostles) to preach the gospel to every creature, this is clearly a plea to those in darkness to enter into true light. Obviously, Paul is inviting them to genuine faith, saving belief, and not simply to membership in a new religious club. But even here there is no distinction made between a false profession of Christ and a true profession of Christ. A true profession is assumed, but the contrast is between pagan unbelief and Christian belief. Spurious Christianity as opposed to the real thing is not under discussion.

WTF? Was Paul trying to make Agrippa first a Christian and then a believer?

The third and last application of the name Christian comes from within the body of Christ, and it shows that the name has stuck. The apostle Peter, when writing to a body of believers, tells them that they should not suffer as evildoers. They have left that way of life behind. If any of them stumble into sin and suffer its consequences, then of course they should be ashamed of themselves.

“If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (1 Pet. 4:14.17)

In the first part of this passage, Peter says that they are happy if they are “reproached for the name of Christ.. He then says a moment later that “if any man suffer as a Christian,. he should not be ashamed. It is difficult to miss the parallel. To be a Christian is to bear the name of Christ. If someone receives the world’s hatred because he bears the name of a hated Christ, then there is no shame in it. Again, the judgment is being made from a
distance.a persecutor hates Christ and attacks anyone associated with him.

NO! NO! NO! To be a Christian is to BELIEVE in Christ and accept Him as Savior! Christianity is not a country club in which believers and deceivers both wear Team Jesus shirts!

An expert in Christianity has no excuse for getting this wrong.

Now such a moment is important to the teaching of Scripture as a whole, and, for each person, it is crucial to be able to answer the question of individual regeneration. The reason we have to address this is that in our culture many have grown up in the church: they were baptized in infancy or when they were ten in a Baptist church, they sang in the choir and went through catechism class, and they are not Buddhists. They have been Christians their whole lives. But if, like Nicodemus, they are not born again, what must they become? Does it make sense for them to “become a Christian.? There is something which they must become.spiritually alive. But how does the Bible describe this kind of change?

“Born again”. A second, spiritual life. Meanwhile, the unbeliever with a Christian upbringing is called “an unbeliever with a Christian upbringing”. He is not called, I don’t know, a “secular Christian” or “lapsed Protestant” or whatever Wilson is trying for.

To answer the question, we have to look at some analogies from the Old Testament. There we see that someone could be outside the covenant entirely.a worshiper of Baal. A second category would be someone within the covenant people of Israel, who did not serve the God of Israel in truth. His service of God was externally formal and correct, but his heart was far from God. And lastly, there were true Israelites in whom there was no guile. Paul writes of this distinction at the end of the second chapter of Romans:

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Rom. 2:28.29)

Circumcision was a sign of the covenant, but Paul points out that the mere possession of the external sign was not sufficient to guarantee a genuine spiritual reality. We can reapply these truths this way: .For he is not a Christian who is one outwardly; neither is that baptism, which is outward and external. But he is a Christian who is one inwardly; and baptism is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.. Paul’s statement is blunt.he is not a Christian who has only the externals.

So far, so good.

But we see in his next breath that Paul’s statement was hyperbolic.

#ChristianMemes #Marvel #SpiderMan #Heresy ? THE BODY OF CHRIST

Jews who had circumcision only were not Jews at all in one sense, but they were of course Jews in another. Lest anyone be tempted to think that this made external membership in the covenant a big nothing, Paul hastens to add that such membership was actually quite important:

“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” (Rom. 3:1.4)

In other words, the religious world is filled with infidels at heart.people who were baptized in their childhood, but who do not believe any of the Christian faith now. Does this mean that their baptism.their .circumcision..meant nothing? Not at all, Paul says. Every covenant member in the world could be lying about God through their lives, lives which contradict the religious signs which may have been applied to them at various
points in their lives. Let God be true, Paul says, and every man a liar. That is all right.the truth remains firm.

Wilson sees that some Jews were believers and some were not believers. From this, he decides that some Christians are believers and some are not. But Christianity is not an ethnic group. Judaism was and the Jews kept serious genealogical records to prove it.

God created a specific nation to provide real-life examples and symbols of God interacting with humanity. But the reality of that is spiritual, not material. Wilson wants to force it to be material, therefore objective and measurable.

One wonders if Wilson’s motivation is to hide behind some formal proof that he’s a real Christian instead of trying to be a better theologian than unpaid Gunner Q on his lunch break. Real Christians don’t spend a lot of time wondering about their appearance of piety.

In short, we can say that God knows those who call themselves Christians and who take upon themselves the marks of discipleship. Their lips are close to God, but their
hearts are far from Him. Such people are Christians covenantally, but their lives betray that covenant. This does not make God false.it would take more liars among men than we could come up with to accomplish that.but it does show that the word Christian can be used in two senses.

We come to the crux of the matter. Wilson is trying to create a formally recognizable state of “covenant Christian” separate from faith in Christ. The only reason to do this is establishing an institutional, bureaucratic Christianity to replace what Christianity has meant since Antioch.

…And this means that many Christians need to become Christian all the way through. The applications move in two directions and forbid two grievous errors. Of course, these two errors (when committed) play off each other, which is why we must hold fast to the Scriptures. The first error is that of individualistic pietism, assuming that invisible saints are the only saints, or, rather, that invisible saintliness is the only kind. Advocates of the “ethereal Church” need to learn that, according to the Bible, a Christian is one who would be identified as such by a Muslim. Membership in the Christian faith is objective.it can be photographed and fingerprinted.

The Catholics do this with an official Registry, I’m told. I never thought I would see the day in which the Protestant world could even theoretically disown a believer in Christ. Also, as a California gun owner let me say that public registration of something many people find “triggering” is the first step in a State crackdown on it. I will never participate in such a registration. Does that mean I cannot be a born-again Christian? Wilson says some “covenant Christians” are real Christians and some are false, but I would like to hear whether non-covenant, non-fingerprinted and -photographed Christians can be true Christians. If yes then all of this Federal Vision bunk is proof our leaders are overpaid and underworked. If no then Wilson is implicity claiming that salvation comes first from being licensed by unbelievers. That is indeed a heresy.

It would be inappropriate to end this without noting that Wilson has recently disowned Federal Vision on his website.

https://dougwils.com/the-church/s16-theology/federal-vision-no-mas.html

17 January 2017

I have decided, after mulling over it for some years now, to discontinue identifying myself with what has come to be called the federal vision. … Since I certainly owned the phrase, albeit with modifiers, and lots of energetic typing, what happened was that I was thought to be owning what people knew as this. But the more I typed that, the more it made people’s heads hurt. So one of the few things I have been successful at doing is persuading a number of people that I am a sly fellow, and one who bears close watching. Heretics are slippery with words, and since I have spent a lot of time trying to grease this particular piglet, I must be a heretic.

So I have finally become convinced that the phrase federal vision is a hurdle that I cannot get over, under or around. The options are therefore limited. I could abandon my actual position and adopt what most people think of when they think federal vision, or I can continue my futile quest of explaining it just one more time, or I could abandon the phrase, and let everyone know that I have done so.

Wilson is dropping the phrase “Federal Vision” because nobody understood him correctly. Might have something to do with this layman summarizing two pages of Wilson’s writings in twelve words.

Peter Leithart’s “end of Protestantism” project is going someplace where I am simply uninterested in going. Unlike some of his critics, I do not believe he is going to Rome, but I do believe it is a project, and it does have a destination. That destination is not mine. It is hard to reconcile his “end of Protestantism” project with my “Protestantism forever” approach.

I cannot reconcile Wilson’s own words with “Protestantism forever”. A major part of the Reformation was rejecting a bureaucratic agency determining who a Christian is.

I would still want to affirm everything I signed off on in the Federal Vision statement…

Wilson abandoned the term “Federal Vision” to shed the heretic label but in the same statement, is openly unrepentant about separating belief in Christ from membership in Christ. His teachings are factually heretical. If he cannot or will not accept this then his peers should help him find the exit from his cushy job of writing such bad theology that he himself admits to being hopelessly misunderstood for years.

Mysterious removal of historic San Jose mural sparks $5 million lawsuit

https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/11/05/mysterious-removal-of-historic-san-jose-mural-sparks-5-million-lawsuit/

By Tatiana Sanchez, 5 Nov. 2018

SAN JOSE . Bay Area muralist Jose Meza Velasquez has filed a $5 million lawsuit in federal court against the new and former owners of a shuttered storefront on Story Road, alleging they violated state and federal laws that protect artists. work when they removed his historic mural from the building without notice.

A $5m Federal lawsuit because a shuttered storefront was repainted? Velasquez has a massive, ungrateful ego.

Community members and public officials were outraged after finding that a valuable piece of the city’s history had been quietly painted over before the sun rose one August morning. That scene set in motion a series of events that has culminated in the lawsuit, which alleges negligence on the owners. behalf. …

Why would public officials be outraged over what private property owners do to their property? Would the mayor be outraged if I repainted my house in order to sell it? By the way, that’s why the mural was repainted: nobody wanted to buy the property with that fugly boat anchor “culture” on the wall. A better excuse than Silent Sam or Prospector Pete ever got.

Representatives for the two companies named in the suit, 2048 Partners LLC and A7 Story LLC, did not respond to requests for comment. Attorney Peter Ajlouny, who managed 2048 Partners LLC . the company that previously owned the building . didn’t respond to several phone calls made to his San Jose law firm last week. He previously told this news organization that he tried to market the property to Latino business owners, but that many objected to the mural.

.No prospective tenant liked the mural,. Ajlouny said in August. .They said it depicted an old colonial, subservient Mexico.. …

BWAHAHA! Well played, Pete.

Velasquez designed and painted the “Mural de la Raza” on the side of what was a Payless Shoes in 1985 with muralist Frank Torres, who went by the nickname Pancho, and a local youth group. A city landmark for 33 years, the mural paid homage to Chicano culture. Historical icons, civil rights leaders and other prominent figures of Mexican culture were depicted in the colorful work of art, a cultural gem that reminded many San Jose residents of their roots. …

…There’s no indication that the Mural de la Raza will ever come back to east San Jose. The slate gray paint that covered the mural has since been tagged with graffiti.

Voting in 2018 to Destroy San Francisco

While this post is unique to California’s ballot, much of what California does tends to crop up elsewhere so it’s worth your reading. Ditto the political skulduggery. And there’s always the entertainment value of bad actors losing their masks, unintended consequences and so on.

This is the second election in which I’ve been forced to vote by mail. Liberals love such “motor voter” laws because proving vote fraud is difficult when it can happen anywhere instead of only in heavily policed specific locations where you have to sign in with a photo ID.

My normal election rule is 1: Never vote for a woman; God doesn’t want women to rule men, 2: No new debts/taxes, 3: not the Democrat and 4: Not the incumbent, in that order. It hurts when this means I vote for a male Dem over a female Rep but until con-art-servatives figure out what they’re supposed to be conserving, they’s just as much a liability.

On that note, four of the five new high-level judges up for unopposed appointment are female. We’re doomed.

The choice for US Senator was Dianne Feinstein the incumbent liche or Kevin de Leon the La Raza puppet. I left that one blank.

Moving on to the nationally popular California Propositions, #1-4 are the sort of new debt instruments that keep me voting. I can’t drain the swamp but I can slow the accumulation of stupidly unnecessary debt. About $17b worth of debt this year.

#7 will end daylight savings time for California. Given the size of our economy, this will probably ripple-effect throughout the USA. #9 was the latest effort to split up California, pulled by its proponent after some court ruling. Context here:

https://gunnerq.androsphere.net/2018/06/13/tim-drapers-non-solution/

You’ve probably heard about Prop 13, the 1978 voter initiative that has kept property taxes low enough for ordinary people to continue owning their homes even as home values spike through the roof. Legislators have tried annually to get it overturned, lusting for new property tax revenue, but the Baby Boomer voting bloc thwarts them every time. Prop 13 has even been amended a couple times to ensure that baby Boomers can carry their low tax policies when they sell their home and move. Boomers got greedy this election’s effort with Prop. 5: “Removes certain transfer requirements for homeowners over 55, severely disabled homeowners, and contaminated or disaster-destroyed property.” When I see vaguely worded bunk like that, I do my homework. The truth is always interesting.

Screw you, you Baby Boomers. First you ruined our country, then you ruined our economy, now you want legal exemptions from paying taxes? Die already.

Proposition #6 is a fuel- and car-tax reduction. It became controversial when Caltrans workers stopped traffic in San Diego County to pass out anti-Prop 6 fliers. Read about it here:

Carl DeMaio: Caltrans Illegally Distributed Anti-Proposition 6 Material

https://timesofsandiego.com/politics/2018/08/29/carl-demaio-caltrans-illegally-distributed-anti-proposition-6-material/

The actual tax is old news. The State spends general funds on welfare handouts and other election kickbacks then offers earmarked taxes/debts to address the neglected infrastructure. Voters know the gov’t will burn the world before they favor the good of humanity over reelection and cooperate. As with men and women, the men-and-gov’t relationship is controlled by the side that cares the least about the other. This explains much about how MGTOW is a threat to the powers that be.

Proposition #8 is a curious one, imposing cost controls on dialysis treatment. Rather specific, eh? The opposition weighs in:

An independent study by the state’s former Legislative Analyst and the economic think tank, Berkeley Research Group, found that, under Prop 8, eighty-three percent (83%) of dialysis clinics in California would operate at a loss. …

Prop 8 is funded by United Healthcare Workers West (UHW) union through a front group called “Kidney Patients Deserve Better,. as part of an attempt to pressure dialysis clinics to unionize workers. While unions have the right to try to organize workers, it’s not right to abuse the initiative system and use vulnerable patients as political pawns.

Since 2012, UHW has spent $35 million in California and other states on more than 20 punitive state and local ballot measures in an attempt to force hospitals and other healthcare providers to accept their union organizing and contract demands.

Labor unions are organized criminal syndicates and fronts for Leftist political activism/terrorism.

Similarly, Proposition #11. What it says: “Requires Private-Sector Emergency Ambulance Employees to Remain On-Call During Work Breaks. Eliminates Certain Employer Liability. Initiative Stature.” But here’s the catch: “Private-Sector Emergency Ambulance” means the company American Medical Response, which paid for this Proposition and has a near-monopoly in California on emergency ambulance services. An op-ed I found compelling:

http://www.dailycal.org/2018/10/26/vote-no-on-proposition-11/

In order to understand why AMR would spend nearly $22 million to codify common sense practices . such as EMT and paramedic meal and rest breaks . it’s necessary to understand current California labor laws and AMR.s history of violating them. … In 2017, a group of first responders led by dispatcher Laura Bartoni alleged they were denied pay for these interrupted rest breaks over several issues, filing the lawsuit Laura Bartoni, et al., v. American Medical Response West.

Separate from the lawsuit against AMR, the California Supreme Court recently ruled that on-call breaks violate state labor laws in Jennifer Augustus v. ABM Security Services, a case involving private security guards and their employers, who required they keep their radios on during breaks. The court ruled in favor of the workers, stating that employers must provide breaks that are off-duty and not interruptible. In order to adhere to this ruling and make sure employees get uninterrupted, off-duty breaks, AMR would need to operate more ambulances and have more first responders on duty, increasing costs. It’s likely that this cost factors into AMR.s support and funding of the proposition.

Under Prop. 11, AMR seeks to eliminate the possibility for further lawsuits stemming from meal and rest break violations and circumvent the Augustus v. ABM Security Services ruling.

I generally don’t care for California’s busybody employment laws but the way to handle it here is AMR charging its costs to its municipal customers, not AMR spending eight digits to carve an exception out of the law. We can change the law but all must be equal under the law. No pay-to-play!

And the Proposition that might just nuke Sodom Fransicko: Number Ten. “EXPANDS LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. AUTHORITY TO ENACT RENT CONTROL ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY. INITIATIVE STATUTE. Repeals state law that currently restricts the scope of rent control policies that cities and other local jurisdictions may impose on residential property. ”

That sounded horrific because rent control is how one destroys a city if he doesn’t have an army. Landowners are invariably denied the rents needed to maintain the infrastructure and are then punished in real estate analogues of frivorce court until they abandon their properties entirely. Squalor and plague settle in. The Hondurans will get here and wonder why they ever left.

But as I read up on it, I found out rent controls had already been enacted at the State level and were rather obsolete. Okay, then. If I can’t stop the concept of rent control then local-level rent control is preferable to Moscow-level rent control… and I voted for Prop #10.

This will crank economic stratification to ten kerjillion. All the Leftoids will swiftly act to lower rents way below market rate in the areas they control, which means the Libturd exodus from California into other states will cease. Eventually, they’ll all be prisoners in shanty towns of their own making but hey, shanty towns are cheap rent. Only the landowners screwed & shamed by Leftists will be leaving.

You’re welcome, Texas.

Meanwhile, local control means I have a better chance of stopping rent control irrationality in my own neighborhood.

VANDALS HIT NYC GOP HEADQUARTERS: .ATTACK IS MERELY A BEGINNING.

https://dailycaller.com/2018/10/12/nyc-gop-headquarters-vandalized/

By Kerry Picket, 12 October 2018

The Metropolitan Republican Club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side was vandalized Thursday night with broken windows, spray-painted anarchy signs, and a threatening message that the “attack is merely a beginning..

The building is the headquarters of the Manhattan Republican Party and the New York City regional office for the New York Republican Party.

The door of the Metropolitan Republican Club in Manhattan, New York, was vandalized Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. (Photo obtained by The Daily Caller)

The window of the Metropolitan Republican Club in Manhattan, New York, was vandalized Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. (Photo obtained by The Daily Caller)

The note reads:

Tonight, we put the Republican Party on notice, in defiance to the policy of mass misery they have championed.

The U.S. government has established concentration camps around the country for Latino people, shamelessly murdering black people, and continues its war machine that has slaughtered Muslim people with impunity for decades. The so-called “Land of the Free” leads the world in incarceration rates per capita, all the while profiteering in the new plantation within the prison walls.

While these atrocities persist unabated the Metropolitan Republican Club chose to invite a hipster fascist clown to dance for them, content to revel in their treachery against humanity. The Republican Party joined by their spineless partners in crime, the Democrats institute a policy of domestic and foreign terror felt the world over.

Our attack is merely a beginning. We are not passive, we are not civil, and we will not apologize. Those of good conscience and clear mind know this state of oppression cannot remain. The US fascist political system is one of the most savage institutions in history and we will combat it relentlessly until all are free of American barbarism.

The note takes a swipe at the Democrats. Interesting. Look at the second paragraph. It’s liberal talking points but notice they’re identity politics talking points. The Democrat Party has begun to splinter between its out-of-touch leader liches, the vibrancy they’re worked so hard to foster and the white Dems waking up to the fact that the devil has played them for total fools. The latter would be the Republican Party’s “spineless partners in crime”.

The term “hipster fascist clown” appeared to reference Vice Media co-founder and CRTV host Gavin McInnes, who was expected to speak Friday at the club. McInnes says he stands up for “Western values,. and is the founder of a fraternal group called the Proud Boys, where men who believe the “West is best” meet up and drink beer.

The article is well-written and I encourage the reader to follow the link for more. Here’s a link to the Proud Boys themselves:

http://officialproudboys.com/proud-boys/whoaretheproudboys/

They’re very determinedly not white supremacists and don’t like the alt-Right. However, what you might not see on their website is that they do operate as a street gang, with “beating in” initiation rites and mandatory (or strongly suggested, I can’t nail it down) tattooing. McInness himself is sleeved and refers to himself as “the Prophet”. Not a club I’ll be joining.

Police Seek 9 Proud Boys Supporters on Riot Charges After Brawls With Antifa

http://www.nytimescom/2018/10/15/nyregion/proud-boys-nypd.html

By Ashley Southall, 15 October 2018

Police commanders moved on Monday to quell a controversy over the department’s handling of brawls outside a Republican club in Manhattan, saying they were seeking nine people affiliated with the Proud Boys, a far-right group, and three additional anti-fascist protesters on riot and attempted assault charges.

So, on Friday 12 October the assigned police handled the politically charged event with no loss of control or serious injuries reported. NBC News reports that three Antifa goons had been arrested in a separate incident from the video below. On Monday 15 October, police leadership moved to protect their asses “from controversy” by issuing arrest warrants for Proud Boys. Oh, those spineless brass dhimmis.

Perhaps the mayor weighing in had something to do with it: “Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Sunday dispatched a State Police hate crimes unit to assist the New York Police Department and asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation for help.”

The trouble started, the police officials said, after fans of Mr. McInnes filed out of the Metropolitan Republican Club on East 83d Street and headed down Park Avenue. A splinter group of masked protesters looped around Lexington Avenue to intercept them, the police said.

Dem Proud Boys were looking to start shit!

The opposing groups came face-to-face on East 82nd Street, yelling as they met. Surveillance video from an apartment building captured a protester hurling a plastic bottle toward the Proud Boys, who were outside the camera’s frame. A man in a red hat then appears onscreen and can be seen throwing the first punch.

That’s dishonest verbiage. A protester threw an object at someone, that someone isn’t throwing the “first punch”.

That fight was the first of several violent clashes that spread over several blocks on the Upper East Side. By the next day, Republican Party officials were being criticized for holding the event, while some elected officials said the violence raised questions about the Police Department’s ability to handle demonstrations.

Violent clashes between police and Antifa, they mean. Is the mayor going to charge NYPD with rioting?

The Proud Boys have been associated with violence across the United States, including in Portland, Ore., on Saturday, and have been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights nonprofit. Mr. McInnes was barred by Twitter for violating its policy on “violent extremist groups..

My grandmother was associated with violence when she got mugged.

The police commissioner, James P. O.Neill, speaking after a police graduation at Madison Square Garden on Monday, called the violence on Friday night “disturbing and outrageous” and vowed to make more arrests. Still, he defended officers who were criticized by public officials and on social media for failing to arrest members of the Proud Boys group who were filmed hitting protesters.

The one political force more powerful than angry SJWs is police protecting their own. That’s fine, there should be many forces more powerful than weaponized butthurt, but too bad the innocent received no such consideration.

A STATEMENT ABOUT THE ATTACK OUTSIDE MANHATTAN.S REPUBLICAN CLUB

http://officialproudboys.com/columns/statement-attack-outside-manhattans-republican-club/

by The Elders, 30 October 2018

First, enjoy the show:

They call that a riot? No blood, no foul. I’ve seen worse fights over parking spaces. The Proud Boys speak:

Antifa approached about five Proud Boys and threw a bottle of urine at them. They then jumped the Proud Boys, knocked two over, and began kicking them while they were down. This is all very apparent at the beginning of the above video. After taking a few blows, the Proud Boys defended themselves . hard. It was a typical bar brawl and the police saw no need to press charges. The alleged victims made that especially clear when they told the police to go fuck themselves. We cannot understand how this is considered assault when even the “victim” insists it is not. This is not a case that should be clogging up the courts. It is a cut and dry case of self-defense.

There’s more at the link. There were apparently 50 police assigned to this event so these PB arrests are not going to become convictions… certainly not for “rioting” when they were invited, cooperative with law enforcement and the other side was attacking them even before their arrival.

MGTOW Life: Revisiting Sigma

My readers are aware of Vox Day’s iconic Alpha-Omega sociosexual hierarchy. Solitary Wolf has an interesting post up about the traits of the Sigma ranking:

https://thesolitarywolf.com/2018/10/31/10-values-of-the-sigma-male/

I noticed he didn’t mention maintaining harems or being popular. Sigma is a variant of Alpha, after all, not a “successful not-Alpha”. A very common mistake.

The thing to know about Alphas, they not only enjoy high status but are obsessed with attaining & keeping it. Being Alpha doesn’t happen in a vacuum; most Alphas are constantly playing social games. It’s the same reason nearly all superwealthy men are FIRE experts–finance, insurance & real estate–because the reliable way to get superwealth is to be super-obsessed about building wealth.

The Sigma is a Dark Triad Alpha. This combination attracts women without the Sigma having to make deliberate effort. That’s the key.

Sigma is the sociosexual type that attains top sexual status without putting in the usual effort, comparable to a hillbilly who found oil on his farm. The hillbilly billionaire is not going to fit into the conventional rich-man contexts or stereotypes; he’s an outsider with the same standing as an insider. Trying to act Sigma is like trying to find free money under your bed. Either it’s there or it isn’t.

I once read an article by a psychiatrist complaining about requests from guys asking how to acquire sociopathy. That’s because chicks love sociopaths and shit test healthy men. Being Alpha without putting in the normal effort is attractive to men who’ve already tried the Alpha path and failed. Sociopathy is attractive also because healthy men are hurt by social isolation. Men don’t like being vulnerable so for those of us who leave society because we were forced to, the idea of changing our personality to no longer be capable of vulnerability interests us.

There’s a converse to this. It’s possible to be an “Omega who didn’t earn it”. To be somebody who should be attractive to women but isn’t. Perhaps this should be the true definition of Incel. The sexual marketplace is a marketplace, after all, and market disruptions mean not everyone gets exactly their value in trade.

It’s okay to try achieving Alpha. It’s not okay to try achieving Sigma because it isn’t a state that can be achieved. Trying to copy Sigma traits risks embracing narcissism or manipulative coldness.

It is not always a compliment when women find you exciting.

.Plastic bags filled with urine. plague dorm at preppy California college

https://www.thecollegefix.com/plastic-bags-filled-with-urine-plague-dorm-at-preppy-california-college/

An elite private college in Southern California is facing a unique health and hygiene problem . .plastic bags filled with urine. are being thrown away in hallway dorm trashcans.

What.s more, .some students had even urinated into bins located within the residence hall, rather than bothering to use the lavatory facilities,. reports the Claremont Independent.

The problem is centered at Walker Hall at Pomona College, a private institution nestled near the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, that costs $70,000 a year in tuition and fees to attend.

An email was recently sent to residents living in the co-ed Walker dorm. They were informed “this behavior is unacceptable, and must stop..

The email was sent by Pomona’s Residence Life Coordinator, Andrew Castro, who added the building attendants “have been taking extra precautions and steps in order to deal with these incidents. Additionally, the smells start to permeate the general hallway..

Naturally, whenever I see evidence of a “no indoor plumbing” culture I look at the racial statistics. Pomona College freshmen, then and now:

Race 2006 2017 %change
Nonresident aliens 40 186 365
Black, non-Hispanic 117 158 35
American Indian or Alaska Native 7 8 13
Asian or Pacific Islander 221 250 14
Hispanic 168 272 62
White, non-Hispanic 774 600 (22)
Multi-race or unknown 239 197 (18)
TOTAL 1,566 1,671 7

I’m seeing a lot of support for an “undocumented Honduran-Americans hiding under the bed and peeing in bags so they don’t get seen going to the bathrooms” theory. Or maybe this 32-gender-coed dormitory has a few ladies who’d rather pee in a bag than use the gender-fluid restroom while the trannie butt-boys are questioning each other.

A normal man, it goes without saying, would use a tree.

Pastor Jeff Sanders of Canton, Ohio: Armed Tradcon Churchian

Pastor Jeff Sanders is the Pastor of Grace Family Fellowship in Canton, Ohio and pundit author of a recent “How To Defend Your Church” article on PJ Media. I’ll start with a fisking of his amazingly disproportionate article, then expose the factors of Cuck Churchianity in his background (there is some hope for him) and finish with an offering of more relevant advice for the modern church’s current threats.

Four Things You Can Do Right Now to Harden Your Place of Worship Against a Shooter

https://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/four-things-you-can-do-right-now-to-harden-your-church-against-a-shooter/

By Jeff Sanders, 18 October 2018

Sadly, America has experienced yet another maniac shooting up innocent people at a house of worship. On Saturday, a man armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle (which is NOT an “assault rifle” since it cannot fire automatically as only a true assault rifle can) and three semi-automatic pistols murdered 11 people in a Pittsburgh synagogue and wounded several others (including four police officers).

He’s correct to care more about the media calling the rifle an “assault gun” than the actual usage of it. If he was giving this advice to all churches for use in the three weeks leading up to an election the Democrats aren’t likely to win then there’d be some merit but instead, Pastor Sanders advocates a general attitude of fear and helplessness for the American Church.

This kind of attack on houses of worship is no longer unheard of. Last year, the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Texas, was attacked, with 26 killed and 20 wounded. In 2015 Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, S.C., was attacked and nine were murdered in cold blood. Christians and Jews are not the only ones targeted. Last year, a gunman invaded a mosque in Quebec City, Canada, and murdered six people. In 2012, a killer entered the Sikh temple in Wisconsin and gunned down six innocent people.

Why does Sanders give a damn about Jews, Muslims and Sikhs? They can handle their own business. Even so, in 8 years 58 innocents were murdered in religious institutions in North America. ANY response to that level of threat is overreaction. This guy must be selling something.

When people gather to worship, unless there are some well-thought-out security measures in place, the worshipers are going to be sitting ducks for any nut case out there who wants to come in with guns blazing. What are some specific things you and your people can do right now to harden your house of worship from an active shooter?

Ban all men expect Pastor AMOG and his castrati chorus? I’m not far wrong:

1. Form a security team

If you don’t already have this in place, you need to get on the phone right now and start calling people to form a security team. The people on this team must be reasonable and level-headed. You do not need some hot-tempered yahoo who wants to make a name for himself. Find people who have experience in law enforcement and seek out their advice on what areas in the church need to be physically watched, and how the building can be patrolled to keep violent people out while at the same time letting peaceful people in.

I’m as pro-cop as anybody in the Manosphere but come on, they’re janitors. They clean human trash off the streets with some First Responding on the side just because the public expects it. They are not counterterrorism experts. They are not our guardian angels. Furthermore, nobody who is reasonable and level-headed will work for free, let alone risk his life for free.

Put it down in writing that the church allows people who are licensed to carry concealed firearms on the premises, but stipulate that these people must be known and approved by the church leadership. Even though this is a dangerous, fallen world and you want protection, you still do not want to unnecessarily scare people into thinking that you must now worship in an armed camp.

But that’s what he’s proposing, doing worship in an armed camp patrolled by law enforcement or the closest equivalents available. Hypocrisy.

I love the police, and they are the professionals, but they cannot be everywhere at once. Seconds count. Worshipers are the first ones on the scene, so I highly recommend that you have a force of people (paid or volunteers, whatever you can do) who are well trained and licensed to carry a pistol. They should also be trained in defensive hand-to-hand tactics (not every situation calls for bullets).

A smarter pastor would have them licensed and paid as security guards, so they won’t be vigilantes in the sight of the law. Don’t forget to insure them! $$$

How many stone-cold Krav Maga deadeye-shot counterterror professionals does Pastor Sanders thinks attend the average church? It’d be lucky to have just the one guy who lied about his age to join the Army for WW1.

2. Harden the building

You want to be a hard target. You want to make it difficult for a terrorist to enter the building and start shooting or stabbing or blowing people up with a bomb vest (God forbid!).

For Fuck’s Sake, dude. USA is not Beirut. Oakland is not Beirut.

Does your church have a fence around the parking lot? That might discourage some. I notice in front of my Sam’s Club there are large cement pillars directly in front of all the doors. Shoppers can go in and out, but it would certainly prevent someone with a truck from ramming their way into the store. Can you have something like that built in front of your place of worship? If not, how about parking large pickup trucks directly in front of all entrances?

This is excellent advice because Grandma might have gotten a pussy pass on her latest driving test. That’s why Sam’s Club does concrete barricades.

Your house of worship may not be able to replace all windows with bullet-proof glass (it probably is not feasible for most), but if you can . do it. Lock all doors once activities have started. Maybe give some time (like 10-15 minutes) for latecomers, but then lock the doors and keep them locked until the activities are done. I know that sounds harsh, but being invaded by a terrorist with guns or bombs is pretty harsh too.

For. Fuck’s. Sake. Pastor Sanders desperately needs a sabbatical from reading headlines. While advocating turning our spiritual homes into literal armed camps living in fear of passers-by, he’s not saying a word about how gov’t is perverting society to the point of these steps being necessary.

What about Romans 8:15? “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons…”

Or 2 Timothy 1:7? “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.”

Pastor Sanders is a dhimmi and the Muzzies haven’t even shown up in Ohio yet.

3. Monitor the perimeter

Have cameras set up around the building to monitor any suspicious activity at all times. Bad people tend to stay away or refrain from casing out the building for an attack if they know they are being filmed. Have part of your security team roving around the building while activities are taking place inside (this includes not just regular worship services, but also when Bible studies or children’s or students’ activities are taking place throughout the week). Make sure they have the ability to communicate with each other and with the police in case there is any suspicious activity.

At this point, I’m just waiting for the sales pitch.

4. Train your leadership in active shooter response

By that, I mean train your pastoral staff, lay leaders, and teachers in a tried and true program that works, such as ALICE training. ALICE is an acrostic naming the five responses to an active shooter: Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate.

I recommend GOLD training. GOLD is an acrostic naming the two responses to an active shooter: Get Out or Lie Down. The average age of American churchgoers makes even the first response optimistic.

And I made that up just now.

I am a certified instructor in ALICE training and have educated several people in how to respond to someone coming in with guns blazing. For a detailed discussion of what to do according to ALICE training guidelines, please check out my PJ Media article from last year. Please, get your leadership together, contact someone who is qualified to teach this, and host a seminar right away.

Ah, the sales pitch. A mercifully short wait.

I can’t do a physiognomy analysis for lack of a decent picture, so let’s go to Pastor Sanders’ church website.

http://gracefamfellowship.org

Pastor Jeff was born in High Point, North Carolina and raised in Savannah Georgia. He has a BA in history from Armstrong State College, an M.Div and Th.M from Capital Bible Seminary, and a D.Min from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.

Not one day spent in the real world.

[From Pjmedia] Sanders is a self-defense instructor and a black belt in Okinawan Kempo with 20 years experience in martial arts.

Okay, maybe one day in the real world. But living in academia until age 30 is a terrible way to develop the spiritual maturity needed for high-level church work.

The only other staffmember of the church is Director of Music Angela Rose. A feminist, to judge from pixie haircut and crazy eyes.

Grace Martial Arts VBS

The most unique VBS in Ohio! Pastor Jeff (a black belt in kempo karate) periodically offers a martial arts-based VBS (with Bible studies) for kids age 8-14. This is a fun, non-violent, biblical approach to self defense for kids.

Interesting. I’ve seen this a few times, Pastors who are trying to foster healthy masculinity but don’t really know how. It’s tragicomic. They don’t realize that their monopoly on church authority is half the problem… and the other half is their refusal to confront the misandric evil in modern society.

Refuge of Hope’s shelter is not just a place where a homeless man can sleep at night. Rather, it’s a support center, in a safe environment, where men can come to grips with the personal, economical and societal issues that caused them to become homeless. We provide a hand up to encourage homeless men, to help them realize that positive life changes are possible regardless of their current circumstances. …

We were able to move over 132 men into permanent housing last year and through March of 2018 over 30 additional men are now living in their own apartments. Refuge of Hope is the only such shelter in Stark County for men.

Credit where it’s due, Pastor Sanders’ church is the only one I’ve heard sponsor any kind of mens’ support beyond free Thanksgiving dinners.

His favorite things in life are being with his wife and four kids, fellowshipping and worshipping with his church family, preaching/teaching the Bible, and eating really good barbeque and Italian food.

That’s bad. His first comment about his personal life is being with his family. Total cuck. At least his one picture didn’t have his wife in it also.

Pastor Jeff also spends time as a writer for the American Policy Roundtable and panelist on The Public Square radio program, writer for PJ Media, chaplain for Marketplace Ministries, and the Executive Director for Free Agents PAC.

A good but doomed effort to be politically active without compromising 501c3 status. If his church does not call out and oppose evil then it’s useless and has no reason for existing. We have many political action committees; we don’t have a single church willing to buck the Johnson Amendment. How can any church be relevant to its congregants’ lives if it refuses to comment on current events? Much less confront the feminist idols of Duluth, VAWA and sodomy.

There’s some hope for Sanders to break free of the feminist Cuck-hold but the journey will not be without cost:

1. Get rid of female staff. Don’t pretend there’s an exception for “female leaders who don’t actually, technically, lead”. This includes retasking the Womens’ Bible Study to Womens’ “Art of Making Hubby Happy” Study.

If he can’t tell women “no” then he can’t oppose feminism.

2. Preach correct marriage and sexual roles. There’s no way to do this without violating 501c3 restrictions about commenting on gov’t behavior so

3. Get rid of 501c3. Just say “no” to the devil’s tax exemptions.

4. Be held responsible to fellow believers. Pastor Sanders desperately needs to internalize the fact that his purpose is to assist his congregants, not to lead them or protect them. If he disagrees then he can convert to Catholicism but there must be an end to these “Pastor AMOG” churches. Either your peers hold you responsible or the hierarchy does, but it must be somebody besides a “board of directors” beholden first to the tax man.

5. Get a day job. He should try living as an ordinary mortal in order to better understand the people’s plight. A year in the private sector will teach him a lot about modern life, particularly if wifey divorces him because she’s no longer Queen Bee of the church. If Sanders truly intends to fight evil then he’ll need a backup career anyway.

Many of us mere congregants already have a backup career.

This is my advice on how his church can handle modern threats. Notice that all of these threats are either internal or a form of gov’t overreach. None of them are white male loners wandering in from the cold packing heat.

The Exorcist (Of San Jose)

This Halloween proves to be way more interesting than any trick-or-treating I ever did as a kid. There’s the general increase in New Ageism, which California is unfortunately a breeding ground for. Then there’s the Trump Derangement Syndrome-fueled midterm elections. There’s pedos mailing pipe bombs to their Democrat supporters to sincerely help them out. And there’s still some fallout from the Kavanaugh hearings which went waaay more Rosemary’s Aborted Baby than a sane man would ever have guessed.

Pursuant to the latter, it turns out there’s a Catholic exorcist in San Jose Diocese who isn’t dead from overwork. Here’s Father Gary Thomas of San Jose Diocese.

New York witches aim hex at Supreme Court’s Brett Kavanaugh despite death threats

https://www.yahoo.com/news/york-witches-aim-hex-supreme-courts-brett-kavanaugh-010926105.html

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Melissa Madara was not surprised to receive death threats on Friday as her Brooklyn witchcraft store prepared to host a public hexing of newly confirmed U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh this weekend.

I found a picture of Madame Madara. It was taken by a professional studio but Photoshop couldn’t vanish her forearm hair. She was also very fat. Her store’s name is Catland Books. That would have been my very first guess.

The planned casting of an anti-Kavanaugh spell, one of the more striking instances of politically disgruntled Americans turning to the supernatural when frustrated by democracy, has drawn backlash from some Christian groups but support from like-minded witch covens.

I’m glad to see Harry Potter isn’t the only target of the anti-occult Churchians.

As far as supporters go, some are sexual assault survivors still angry that the U.S. Senate confirmed Kavanaugh’s lifetime appointment to the nation’s highest court despite accusations that he had sexually assaulted multiple women. …

Democrats hope lingering outrage over Kavanaugh, particularly among women, will translate into election gains for them on Nov. 6. Republicans are likewise trying to seize on anger among conservatives at how they perceive Kavanaugh was mistreated.

Abortion. It was all about abortion. What was the very first thought Democrats had when they considered losing control of the US Supreme Court due to Kavanaugh’s appointment? Roe fricking Wade. I saw a bumper sticker in my own neighborhood, “Protect Abortion, Oppose Kavanaugh”.

Never forgive a woman who gets an abortion. She’s a murderess.

Believers in mysticism on both sides of the political divide are taking matters into their own hands.

Plans for the Catland Books event have sparked “counter hexes” around the country by those seeking to undo the spell that the Brooklyn witches cast against Kavanaugh, Madara said.

Wasted effort. If Kavanaugh is Christian as I recall he’s claimed to be then he’ll be fine. God doesn’t do much for us by mortal standards but if He allowed this kind of spiritual attack then we’d be FUBAR all day long.

Even mainstream clergy was joining the fray. Rev. Gary Thomas of the Diocese of San Jose in California said on Friday that he would include Kavanaugh in his prayers at Saturday mass.

On that note, let’s proceed to a interview of Rev. Thomas by Cosmopolitan Magazine. Not the most promising matchup of subject and media but I really can’t think of a good one outside church doors. It would be best for unbelievers if they never got curious about this sort of thing but alas.

What It’s Really Like to Be an Exorcist

Father Gary Thomas explains the real-life profession at the center of so many horror movies.

https://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/movies/a6806289/exorcist-interview-father-gary-thomas/

Though horror movies have made exorcism seem like the stuff of fiction, there are still people out there who do them for a living. Father Gary Thomas has been performing exorcisms for more than a decade, working out of the Archdiocese of San Jose. His initial exorcism studies at the Vatican inspired The Rite (he was a consultant on the film) and in the years since, he’s handled over 60 cases of demonic activity. Cosmopolitan.com spoke with Thomas to get a crash course on how an exorcism really unfolds, and while he hasn’t seen any spinning heads or projectile vomit, he would like you to seriously reconsider your habit of dabbling in tarot.

How did you come to be an exorcist? That can.t be something you planned on.

I was always a lifelong Catholic and involved in my parish. After college, I just reached a point in my life where I was drawn to the priesthood, and I served in a variety of capacities in my first 22 years as a priest. After that I asked to take a sabbatical, to go to Rome and study spirituality at the Dominican University. Then, before I went, the bishop appointed me exorcist of the diocese. The first priest he had asked declined, so I spoke up and said, .I can do that..

Okay. Not a new believer, not a pedoface and not exactly a volunteer. I wouldn’t be happy about a new convert who was excited to see what’s behind the curtain.

I.m surprised they have a class for this.

The church has always performed exorcisms. People in the church will sometimes say, .We don’t do them anymore,. which is absolutely false. In 2004, Pope John Paul II issued a mandate telling every bishop in the world to select a priest and train him to be an exorcist. That was because of growing occult activity, which has reached epidemic proportions.

A prudent call on JP2’s part. It would be nice if the Protestant world was more on the ball about such matters but the RCC is indisputably the most accomplished and accessible provider of such services in the world.

I did know a Prot exorcist once, a Messianic Jew no less, but he did it as a side thing. No formal training that I knew of, just a strong knowledge of Scripture and friends he could count on.

What kind of occult activity?

All kinds of what I refer to as paganism. People using Ouija boards (which is a conjuring instrument, not a toy), tarot cards, seeking palm readers, seeking mediums, seeking out a witch, performing s?ances, getting involved in meditations like Reiki, using yoga as a form of power whereby you conjure up false gods . those and a variety of other smatterings. It’s no secret that our society is hungering for spirituality. The problem is where people are seeking it. It’s in all the wrong places.

I would add, California’s sanctuary city policies are importing a massive number of mediums and other occultists. Have I ever seen a palm reader who didn’t speak Spanish? Can’t recall one. Most of those Latinos are only socially Catholic.

For many people, Christianity is no longer relevant, so they make up their own morality, their own way of living. Unfortunately, a lot of people are seeking out what we could call divination . artificial forms of trying to discover God. The Israelites in the Old Testament did this and they experienced great calamity as a result of it. The same thing is happening in our culture today.

Nobody who dabbles in this junk is looking for God. They’re looking to rebel against God, ancient Israel being Exhibit “A” of this, or they’re looking for a god they can deal with as an equal. You sacrifice a goat and Vishnu waters your crops, or something. Why Vishnu needed your goat dead is rarely explained.

Although he has a valid point re divination. People want God to show up and do something. I suspect that’s at the heart of people being instinctively sheep, why human instinct is to prop up leaders and follow them instead of laws and other objectives boundaries. Following the leader only works for as long as the leader cares about his followers. Fewer than five seconds, in most cases.

How often do you receive requests for exorcisms? Do you handle them all alone?

Yesterday, I got five phone calls. We get several requests a week, and many more than that from outside our diocese, which we try to redirect back locally. And I don’t do any of these by myself. I have a team of medical experts . a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, and a medical doctor. Then I have a prayer team, and the prayer team does all the discernments, the intakes. These people are evaluated. You only end up doing a formal exorcism when everything else has failed.

One would imagine the false positive rate on this would be very high. It’s good Father Thomas doesn’t do this alone. That’s a really bad idea; humans are not naturally resistant to such things.

Curious that Thomas doesn’t mention any spiritual sensitivity on his part. I’ve met several Christian priests, Prot and Cat both, whose sensitivity was what led them to this kind of work in the first place. A pure book learner? Well, nothing says it can’t work but one wonders.

If you don’t know what I mean by spiritual sensitivity then be happy in your ignorance. You’re missing no fun at all.

How can you tell if someone’s really possessed?

There are six classic signs. The first is an aversion to the sacred. For example, a Catholic could have incredible difficulty receiving the [Eucharist], to the point where it’s burning as she’s consuming it. Another sign would be speaking in a language that they have no competency in. I’ve had people speaking Korean, in Chinese or Russian or Spanish, who have no understanding of those languages. Another is a person exhibiting inordinate strength. We prayed over a woman on Sunday and we needed to have five people holding her down. Another is the knowledge of hidden things, so the demon would begin eliciting information that the person wouldn’t have any access to. Another is foaming at the mouth, and that’s actually a good sign, because you’re seeing the reaction to the prayer, the casting out. The last thing would be a kind of epileptic reaction involved the distortion of the face . histrionic out-of-control movement in the arms and the legs.

Most of these are straight from Scripture so no surprise.

We see exorcisms in movies all the time. What should people know about the process that Hollywood might not show?

One thing people get wrong is thinking that Satan does not exist. Satan does exist. That’s why Jesus Christ came, and that’s important. I’m not trying to evangelize you, but this is why I give interviews. I give interviews because there are charlatans out there who will say, .I.ll come and cleanse your house,. and some of these people are just flat-out fakes. But some of these people, they have gifting . they do. They’ve just chosen to use it for the dark side.

I think one appealing aspect of the occult is that believing in the devil is much easier than believing in the Savior. Especially these days, when justice and the symbols of heaven (marriage, the old teaching the young, respect for founding traditions, valuing human life) have been corrupted. Find the Big Guy and cut a deal with him, or find someone to save you as a charity case and not because you’re special? Human nature strongly favors the former. There are many people who have rejected Christ for no reason than Christ refuses to treat with us as peers.

Jesus didn’t come just to be a nice guy. His death and resurrection defeated Satan. When I end my talks, I usually say, .Do not be afraid.. I’m not saying I’m some kind of rough and tough guy. I’m not but I’m not afraid. I didn’t know what to expect when I saw those manifestations in Italy but I was not afraid. Satan is not a metaphor. Satan is real. He’d like you to believe he doesn’t exist and that’s his greatest deception. People need to buck up and realize that we’re not the masters of our own destiny. We have to put ourselves at the disposal of God.

What do the Godless think, when they ditch God for their humanist Utopias and see all the degeneracies of paganism flood back like they never left? Women cannot be independent; she will follow either her lover or her provider. Similarly, humans are not spiritual Switzerland. We are spiritual Poland and one side or the other will claim us by war’s end.

No matter how many times the patterns repeat, we never see the pattern. To see it would be to see our place in reality and that is too bitter a pill for the human ego.

Rise Above Movement Arrested: An FBI Amateur Hour

Barely four posts ago, I covered liberals claiming Trump was a pathological liar because they didn’t see any literal riots happening in California cities. Simultaneous with that claim is the arrest of a purported white supremacist cell in Los Angeles that specializes in orchestrating politically motivated riots. Charlottesville makes the news again! And perfectly timed for midterm elections, too. What a coincidence.

U.S. white nationalist leader, three others charged with inciting riots

https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-white-nationalist-leader-three-others-charged-conspiracy-185306121.html

By Dan Whitcomb, 24 October 2018

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The leader of a California-based white nationalist group and three others have been charged with attacking demonstrators and conspiring to incite riots at political rallies across the state, federal prosecutors said on Wednesday,

Robert Rundo, 28-year-old founder of the Rise Above Movement, was taken into custody on Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport.

Note, he was arriving at LAX from out of country. He was not attempting a flight from prosecution.

Two other members of the group, Robert Boman, 25, and Tyler Laube, 22, were arrested on Wednesday morning, said Thom Mrozek, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles. Aaron Eason, 38, remains at large.

“The allegations describe an orchestrated effort to squelch free speech as members of the conspiracy traveled to multiple locations to attack those who hold different views,” U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna said in a statement.

Nick should check out this group called “Berkeley Antifa”. It’s probably the group he’s thinking of.

Rundo, Boman, and Laube are accused of attacking counter-protesters and two journalists at a March 25, 2017 “Make America Great Again” rally in Rundo’s hometown of Huntington Beach, California.

Regular readers may recall that Huntington Beach is one of the California cities vocally opposing the sanctuary state crimes of Sacramento. A quick quote:

https://gunnerq.androsphere.net/2018/03/30/battle-lines/

“Travis Allen, an assemblyman from Huntington Beach, said Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s warnings of prosecution and fines for voluntarily cooperating with the U.S. government were so egregious that federal officials should consider bringing charges of their own against the Democratic official.”

The prosecution of RAM might not only be a midterm election ploy, it may be a flanking attack on Huntington Beach gov’t for not toeing Sacramento’s party line.

Rundo, Boman and Eason are also charged with violence at a demonstration in Berkeley on April 15, 2017 and an “Anti-Islamic Law” protest in San Bernardino.

They are also charged with using the internet with the intent to “organize promote, encourage, participate or carry on riots.”

They used the Internet to participate in rioting? The organizing accusation is sketchy, too, because criminals don’t advertise their crimes in advance by getting city permits for them.

Rundo was ordered detained pending trial at a hearing in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles earlier this week, Mrozek said. Boman, of Torrance, and Laube, of Redondo Beach, were still awaiting court appearances.

Sounds like they scheduled Rundo’s hearing for when they knew he’d be out of town. The following brackets are my personal comments:

Earlier this month, four other California men described by prosecutors as members of the Rise Above Movement . Benjamin Drake Daley, Michael Paul Miselis, Thomas Walter Gillen and Cole Evan White . were indicted on federal riot and conspiracy charges stemming from violence they were accused of instigating during last year’s Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Neo-Nazi sympathizers and counterprotesters clashed at that event [when the counterprotesters’ ally ordered the police to stand down] and President Donald Trump was criticized at the time for appearing to equate the actions of the white nationalists, who carried Nazi flags [one flag, IIRC], with those of counterprotesters. [relevance of this criticism?]

On Wednesday, Trump denounced the suspected bombs mailed to former U.S. President Barack Obama, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and other high-profile Democrats.

Yes, this is the same article. It switched midstream from “Neo-Nazi rioters indicted” to “Trump denies bombing all of his opponents immediately before his massive election win.” TDS for six more years.

.And I just want to tell you that in these times, we have to unify, we have to come together, and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America,” he said at a White House event.

Earlier this year, Rundo and two of the men charged in the Charlottesville case traveled to Europe to celebrate Adolf Hitler’s birthday and to meet with members of other white supremacy extremist groups, according to prosecutors.

Is this an attempt at establishing an international conspiracy? Sheesh.

So, what’s this Rise Above Movement? I haven’t heard of them despite living in Commiefornia myself.

RISE ABOVE MOVEMENT

Gymbros in skull masks. Hmm, you never see Antifa go shirtless. Where are the guns? The tattoo sleeves of swastikas? The OK salute? Pepe? Neo-Nazis are called skinheads for a reason but these guys have hair.

Most of their social media stuff has been taken down but they appear to have operated openly on twitter, gab and youTube until recently.

I’ve seen scarier groups at the airsoft field.

Hate Group From Charlottesville Neo-Nazi Rally Evades ...

“Ultraviolent Neo-Nazis wear masks to conceal their identities”

Ali Winston on Twitter: "Daley denied being part of the ...

This must be the Ben Daley mentioned above. That’s not a Nazi slogan.

Same Mr. Daley. Okay, we’re getting fringe but I’m not seeing a smoking gun anywhere. I can see the news crews in the background of the left image so he’s got to be posturing, not making credible threats.

His ears are very, very pointed and backswept. In Chinese face reading, that means he’s had severe emotional trauma as a child. Divorced parents is very likely. His nose flange is also pronounced enough to opine on: the creased flange means he’s much more willing to offer help than to accept help. A group identity is common for such people because “helping the group helps myself” and they can appeal to the group’s ideals instead of straight-up begging.

instant?祥寺STORE ??? T-shirt ? ????????販?????????????? ?祥寺STORE ?????

RAM’s “Rise Above” brand of merchandise. Odd they don’t wear it themselves.

Inside RAM, a Violent White Hate Group, and Their Campaign ...

The only “Nazi” part of this picture is the sign on the traffic pole “Smash Alt-Right Nazis”. RAM is displaying a flag of the Christian crusades, which historically were defensive actions against unproved Muslim aggression… therefore appropriate in the context of the alt-Right, which is not any form of fascism.

For a terrorist Neo-Nazi racist white supremacist international organization of riotous evil, they posted a lot of public group photos and selfies.

Let’s look at the incidents RAM was allegedly involved in.

San Bernardino anti-Islamic law rally and counter-protests trigger violence

https://www.sbsun.com/2017/06/10/san-bernardino-anti-islamic-law-rally-and-counter-protests-trigger-violence/

By Joe Nelson, 10 June 2017

A “protesters clash” photo from linked article. Looks like some tug-of-war going on. Antifa versus RAM. One of the participants is hiding his identity and the other is Mr. Daley of RAM.

A San Bernardino rally against Islamic law being implemented in the United States drew hundreds of protesters and counterprotesters Saturday near the site of the Dec. 2, 2015, terrorist attack, but also sparked violence and acts of vandalism, police say.

Sponsored by the nonprofit group ACT for America, the Inland March Against Sharia was one of numerous rallies held nationwide. Sharia is Islamic law as derived from the Quran and the traditions of Islam.

In San Bernardino, protesters gathered at the memorial to the terror attack victims on the southeast corner of Waterman Avenue and Orange Show Road; counterprotesters assembled on the opposite corner.

Sharia, the protesters say, oppresses women and is a gateway to radicalization and terrorism. Protesters fear the establishment of Sharia in the U.S., which they say would erode the Constitution and American values and culture

The demonstrations were meant to be peaceful. But emotionally charged language . as well as water . was hurled.

At one point, a group of protesters crossed the street and cut a path through counterprotesters, which erupted into a fracas that immediately drew a swarm of police officers who had guns drawn and batons at the ready.

.It.s my understanding that one of the groups crossed over with the intent to antagonize. We got officers involved,. said Police Chief Jarrod Burguan, who arrived at the protests shortly after the incident. .There was a little bit of shoving or something of that nature. We got folks involved pretty quickly and were able to break it up. There were no arrests that stemmed from the incident..

He said one officer was struck by a soda can, but the officer wasn’t injured. The person who threw the can was not identified, Burguan said.

Later in the day, three men were arrested on suspicion of vandalism for smashing out the windows of a car. Their names were not immediately available, but Burguan said the men were from San Diego, San Clemente and Torrance.

This doesn’t sound like a riot.

Protesters say Sharia is incompatible with American law. They say Sharia condones, among other things, genital mutilation, domestic violence and stoning.

This is true. Anybody who cares about the welfare of women opposes Sharia.

.It.s a religion where you have the potential to become radicalized. If you become radicalized, you commit jihad,. said Gregory Maximus, clad in a black bandana with white skull imprint covering the lower half of his face as he stood in line to buy snacks at a gas station.

The cashier told him he had to remove his bandana if he wanted to buy something.

Maximus complied.

Maximus said he was with a group calling themselves Rise Above, and that about 30 of them attended Saturday’s March Against Sharia demonstration.

Either Greg violated the sacred Omerta code for a 7-11 hot dog or these aren’t the professional troublemakers the FBI looking for. Although he did give the media a false name. I doubt his family name is “Maximus”.

Counterprotester Alex Sanchez, a business agent for Teamsters Local 896 in Los Angeles, said he was offended by ACT for America’s choice of location for their protest, the IRC, where on Dec. 2, 2015, 14 people, including 13 San Bernardino County public health employees, were fatally shot and 22 others wounded in a terrorist attack implemented by radicalized Muslim spouses Syed Rizwan Farook, a county health inspector, and his wife, Tashfeen Malik. They were both killed in a shootout with police hours after the massacre.

Opposing RAM was a professional Teamsters agitator who was offended that they protested against Islam at the site of a Muslim terrorist attack. Here’s your professional troublemaker, prosecutors: Alex Sanchez of Local 896.

On to the Huntington Beach “riot”.

Pro-Trump Rally in Huntington Beach Turns Violent

http://laist.com/2017/03/25/trump_rally_violent.php

By Annie Lloyd, 25 March 2017

A pro-Trump rally in Huntington Beach Saturday morning erupted in violence, according to the LA Times. A man protesting the rally pepper sprayed a female organizer of the rally, after which other pro-Trump supporters tackled and punched him. Video of the fight shows the counter-protestor getting assaulted and running from pro-Trump supporters. Members of the rally followed him and other counter protestors with chants of “USA,” “America First,” and cries for them to “get out.” The counter protestor eventually fled and ran along Pacific Coast Highway before getting detained by California Highway Patrol officers. The other counter-protestors fled the scene.

Violence instigated by “counter-protestors”. What a surprise. I left in the video link; between 20-25 seconds, look for an Antifa goon in the top left corner. There seemed to be a shoving match of some kind prior to the twerp deploying pepper spray. But shrug, nobody is getting beaten by an ugly stick or anything. And this is being handled as Federal-level rioting?

Wow, there were a LOT of cameras at that event. It reminds me of the time I went to the Hollister motorbike rally and every other biker was an undercover cop.

The Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally is already notorious so I’ll leave off with this instead: Heavy.com has located the actual indictment of RAM and while I’m not a legal expert, it looks like amateur hour at the FBI.

Rise Above Movement: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

4. Title 18, United States Code, Section 2101, provides that “Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent 1) to incite a riot; or 2) to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot; or 3) to commit any act of violence in furtherance of a riot; or 4) to aid or abet any person in inciting or participating in or carrying on a riot or committing any act of violence in furtherance of a riot” shall be guilty of a federal offense.

This is the crux of the Federal case against the RAM members. As I’ve shown on this post, “riot” is a gross exaggeration of the incidents RAM members have been involved in, to say nothing of what its members intended.

PROBABLE CAUSE

10. Through open-source research by the FBI, it was learned that RAM maintained a publicly viewable Twitter page. RAM represents itself to be a positive influence on those who join their ranks, as evidenced in the following statement posted to their publicly viewable Twitter…

“Open-source research.” Yep, this elite FBI Special Task Force LEO got his incriminating evidence from publicly available, highly opinionated websites, just like I do at no cost to the taxpayer. Said incriminating evidence consisting of:

11 . Through Twitter and other social-media platforms, RAM promotes “clean living,” physical fitness and mixed martial arts (MMA) street fighting techniques. According to an article published to http://www.nocara.blacklogs.org on 7/06/2017, entitled “DIY Division: The Violent neo-Nazi Group Central to the California Alt-Right and Alt-Light Protest Movements,” DIY, which later re-branded itself as RAM, subscribes to “equal parts Identity Evropa’s flaccid identitarian discourse … and the fetishization of masculinity, physical fitness, and violence mixed with the shallow anti -corporate and anti -consumerist themes of the film Fight Club. Propaganda by the group .. . contains … fascistic themes of emasculated young white men needing to reclaim their identities through learning to fight and engaging in purifying violence.” Accordingly, the group regularly meets in public parks in the southern California area and trains in physical fitness, boxing, and other fighting techniques. The following photographs were obtained from RAM’s public Twitter page: [amateur kickboxers].

Seriously? A activist blog of no significance is the basis for a sealed grand jury indictment?

13. RAM and its members openly identify themselves on various social media platforms as “alt-right” and “nationalist” and frequently posts videos and photographs of its adherents engaged in vigorous physical training and mixed martial arts (MMA) street-fighting techniques in order to prepare to engage in fighting and violence at political rallies.

They prepare in broad daylight and public areas, physical and Internet both, for low-level terrorism?

14. …In this video, an individual believed to be DALEY can be seen attempting to kick and/or punch a counter protestor, while wearing a half-skull face mask consistent with those depicted in RAM’s group photo previously noted.

Because half-skull masks are very rare and not $5 apiece at the local army surplus store.

15. GILLEN was also present during last year’s unrest in Berkeley, California, and can be seen in the same video repeatedly punching a counter protestor who has fallen to the ground. GILLEN, in an apparent effort to prepare to engage in physical violence, has taped his fists in the manner of boxers or MMA style fighters, as evidenced photo above, right.

The picture is so grainy that I have no idea how the FBI can tell his hand is taped. Taping the hand doesn’t make your fist hit harder; it just makes wrist injury less likely. It’s a defensive preparation, like having a first aid kit. I’d tape up, too, if I was stupid enough to go to an Antifa rally, because a padded hand & forearm can deflect thrown objects with less danger of skin cuts.

By the way, none of the “counter-protestors” referred to in the indictment are named. The FBI built this major indictment by combing through social media for a preponderance of circumstantial evidence.

The FBI should be ashamed of this.

Drain the swamp already, Mr. Trump!

25. In other video footage from the violence, WHITE can be seen headbutting a
female counter protestor, while DALEY assists him in the assault. (Photo: below, left). The
headbutt results in a severe laceration. (Photo: below, right).

Nobody wins in a headbutt. If White was trained in martial arts then a headbutt is more likely to have been the female’s choice, not his. A couple cell phone pics doesn’t do much to establish who the aggressor is.

29. After returning to Southern California, Daley made various admissions about
committing acts of violence in Charlottesville and at other rallies in California.

But no actual statements. One would think an admission of interstate violence would be exactly what belongs in a request for an arrest warrant.

30. Based on the information set forth in this affidavit, I submit that there is probable
cause to believe:

31. On or about August 11 , 2017, Defendant BENJAMIN DRAKE DALEY, MICHAEL MISELIS, COLE WHITE, and THOMAS GILLEN traveled in interstate commerce from California to Charlottesville, Virginia, within the Western District of Virginia, with intent (a) to incite a riot, (b) to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, and carry on in a riot, (c) to commit an act of violence in furtherance of a riot, and (d) to aid or abet any person inciting and participating in or carrying on in a riot and committing any act of violence in furtherance of a riot; and during the course of such travel or thereafter performed or attempted to perform multiple overt acts, including but not limited to: inciting, promoting, encouraging, participating in, and carrying on in a riot, committing acts of violence in furtherance of a riot, and aiding and abetting other persons inciting and participating in and carrying on in a riot and committing acts of violence in furtherance of a riot, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2101 , 2.

Was the Unite the Right rally ever formally declared a riot? The police didn’t lose control, they were ordered away by the mayor.

Based on the forgoing, I request that the Court issue the proposed arrest warrant.
Respectfully submitted, *signed* Dino P. Cappuzzo, Special Agent/Task Force Officer, FBI, 27 August 2018

And then sealed two months until the midterm elections were nigh. At a bare minimum, the FBI should have waited to unseal until after the elections to prevent credible accusations of political shenanigans.

There’s a lesson to be learned here. You should already know not to go to these rallies. If you do go, and there’s a male personality type that honestly is compelled to go, then don’t wear skulls & other death imagery for a uniform and don’t brag about the combat you’ve committed in self-defense after the fact. It is very, very easy for such comments to be used against you by rogue law enforcement.

RAM will get through this unharmed if they rigorously lawyer up and remain silent. All the evidence thus far is circumstantial and taken from sources in which the victims don’t look or act like victims.

UWE James Knight, Fake MRA

Many Manospherians, particularly Mens’ Rights Activists, want to fix social problems from the inside. That’s a bad idea and the U of West England is the latest example.

University students set to elect first officer to represent men

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/education/education-news/uwe-students-union-university-west-england-bristol-gender-equality-a8596331.html

By Eleanor Busby 23 October 2018

A students’ union in Bristol is introducing a men’s officer for the first time.

Representatives for women are common at campuses across the country, but now students at the University of the West of England (UWE) will also have a separate officer to represent men.

The role has been brought in to ensure that men.s’ perspective is taken into consideration and to ensure issues that are important to male students are raised, James Knight, the only candidate running for the role, told The Independent.

It has been introduced at UWE students. union despite opposition to the proposal from the student body last year.

The roles of trans, black and minority ethnic (BME) and women’s officers have also been brought in.

Mr Knight said he wanted to stand in light of the mental health issues facing male students.

He added: “Statistically male students are much more likely to not talk about their mental health issues. They are much more likely to follow through and take their lives.”

Ten students from the University of Bristol and two from UWE, which is also based in the city, have died in the past two years. A number have been confirmed as suicides.

This guy is MRA crack. He’s definitely correct that male needs are less valued than male tears.

But the new role was criticised by some on social media.

.Can someone explain to me why a men’s officer is necessary please,” student Rebecca Sheeres asked on Twitter. “Especially when UWE students actually voted against such position. Men are not a minority at university and surely appointing a wellbeing officer would cover men’s mental health..

But Mr Knight, who is a third-year politics and international relations student, said: “It is equally important to have a part-time officer that can concentrate a lot more of their time and effort on male mental health and male suicide rates. I don’t think the necessity of a men’s officer is surrounding male liberation at all.”

From https://www1.uwe.ac.uk/about/factsandfigures/studentdemographics.aspx

Gender Number
Male 13,494
Indeterminate 3
Female 17,235

He missed the opportunity to expose Sheeres as a liar. Meanwhile, 3 of 30,732 is about right for normal human mutation rates but does this necessitate a fully funded LGBT department? Maybe we could just pay a doctor to normalize their hormones.

Sarah Lasoye, NUS UK women’s officer, said: .NUS will always seek to champion the voices of the most marginalised students, which includes women, black, LGBT+ and disabled students. These groups of students face systematic oppression across society, and the discrimination they face can affect their participation, achievement, retention and progression in education..

It’s okay to be white, male and sexually normal. Just saying.

She added: .Student mental health continues to be a growing crisis, and men’s mental health has become a particular focus in recent years. This has opened up a much-needed discussion on the influence of toxic masculinity and societal pressures faced by men.

Bitch got no idea. “Mens’ mental health is suffering because we haven’t yet had a needed discussion about the many ways men oppress us!”

.However, when one in seven women experience a serious physical or sexual assault in their time as a student, and when 68 per cent have experienced some kind of verbal or non-verbal harassment, we must recognise that it is women, trans and gender non-conforming people bear the brunt of gender-based oppression..

Hold that thought for a few seconds.

A UWE Students. Union spokesperson said: .We have introduced three new part-time officer positions in this year’s October By-election. The three roles are women’s officer, men’s officer and trans officer. The women’s officer started as a student idea during the academic year 17-18, which was passed through student council and the trustee board, before being implemented for the October election cycle.

.The men’s and trans officer roles were brought through from our trustees who felt that there were other groups who would benefit from having a part-time officer campaigning and raising awareness for their communities. The two roles will require final ratification as per our constitution..

Okay, everybody, if we’re going to do this then let’s be fair about it! ONE DAY LATER:

Only university in UK with men’s officer scraps role after its sole candidate ‘suffers harassment’

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/10/24/university-uk-mens-officer-scraps-role-candidate-withdraws-alleged

By Helena Horton, 24 October 2018

That held thought about men not suffering harassment? You may enjoy it now.

The only university in the UK with a men’s officer has scrapped the role after the candidate withdrew due to “harassment.”

James Knight put his name forward to be men’s officer at the University of the West of England, but claims he was harassed, and has withdrawn. He was the only candidate in the race.

The University of the West of England told The Telegraph that the position has now been suspended pending review.

The roles of transgender and women’s officers have also been brought in this month.

…Mr Knight said the negative response to his campaign, coupled with alleged harassment, caused him to step down. He said in a statement: .Due to the negative reaction to the men’s officer position and continued external harassment, I have taken the difficult decision to stand down as a candidate..

A spokesman from the students. union at UWE said: .Following the withdrawal of the candidate from the Men’s Officer Role, the election for that position is no longer running. As per our previous statements, we will be seeking ratification of the role at the next Student Council. We will look to move this forward based on their decision..

James Knight said that 'with a heavy heart' he was standing down

James Knight. He… he tried & failed to grow a neckbeard to disguise his lack of a chin. Damn, just tattoo “pajama boy toy” on that forehead! This faguette was never going to champion the return of patriarchy. He was either controlled opposition or simply had a personal interest in male mental health services. Likely both.

Don’t try to reform a Converged institution. Hold the line until ejection time, then stay clear of that burning wreckage.

Burning the Snowflake Test

Hat tip to Earl on https://v5k2c2.androsphere.net/2018/10/24/pastor-dowell-tells-it-straight/

A CEO named Kyle Reyes decided to assemble a hiring test to screen out time-wasting, emo snowflakes without asking any legally prohibited questions. It’s been making the rounds for over a year, apparently.

https://newbostonpost.com/blogs/you-want-the-original-snowflake-test-here-it-is/

By Kyle S. Reyes, 27 March 2017

Wow. Apparently this Snowflake Test was quite the talk of America.

I.m not going to lie . it’s been an exhausting . yet incredible . media tour. I’ve been blessed to be on Fox and Friends four times, The Kennedy Show, Varney and Co., Risk and Reward, and more than 100 radio programs.

Why so much excitement over it?

A marketing company’s CEO wonders why people are excited about him? Isn’t that his job? My bullshit detector just tripped.

“I’ve been blessed” is a phrase I only hear from charismatic Christians, New Agers and witches.

I like to think it’s because patriotic Americans are sick and tired of the sniveling, whining, entitled brats who believe that everything should be handed to them on a silver platter.

And of course that line right there is going to trigger many of them, sending them crawling out of their safe spaces with lines like “we are snowflakes but snowflakes make blizzards!. and .you’re such a sexist, racist, homophobic bigot that I’m going to burn down your business..

I’ve spent my entire life in urban California during its Queering/Convergence and I’ve never seen or heard anything like what he’s talking about.

Unfortunately for you tender souls, I’ve now had hundreds of companies reach out to me with overwhelming support and encouragement . letting me know that they too will be implementing similar tests to take out the trash before it starts stinking up their business.

Looks like summer is coming, snowflakes.

Instead of accepting a dime for the test . I’m going to go ahead and share it now with all of America.

On that note, it’s archived here with its author’s permission:

The Snowflake Test

  1. Outside of standard benefits, what benefits should a company offer employees?
  2. What should the national minimum wage be?
  3. How many sick days should be given to employees?
  4. How often should employees get raises?
  5. How do you feel about guns?
  6. What are your feelings about employees or clients carrying guns?
  7. What are your feelings about safe spaces in challenging work environments?
  8. In a creative environment like The Silent Partner Marketing, what do you envision work attire looking like?
  9. Should “trigger warnings” be issued before we release content for clients or the company that might be considered .controversial.?
  10. How do you feel about police?
  11. If you owned the company and were to find out that a client is operating unethically but was a high paying client.how would you handle it?
  12. When was the last time you cried and why?
  13. You arrive at an event for work and there’s a major celebrity you’ve always wanted to meet. What happens next?
  14. What.s your favorite kind of adult beverage?
  15. What.s the best way to communicate with clients?
  16. What.s your favorite thing to do in your free time?
  17. What are your thoughts on the current college environment as it pertains to a future workforce?
  18. What.s your typical breakfast?
  19. What.s your favorite drink when you go to a coffeehouse?
  20. How do you handle bullies?
  21. How do you handle it when your ideas are shot down?
  22. What do you do if a coworker comes to the table with an idea and it sucks?
  23. What does the first amendment mean to you?
  24. What does faith mean to you?
  25. Who is your role model and why?
  26. .You’re in Starbucks with two friends. Someone runs in and says someone is coming in with a gun in 15 seconds to shoot patrons. They offer you a gun. Do you take it? What do you do next?.
  27. What does America mean to you?
  28. You see someone stepping on an American flag. What do you do?
  29. What does “privilege” mean to you?
  30. What.s more important? Book smarts or street smarts? Why?

As a prospective employer, I’m not impressed with the list. The best way to snowflake-guard is simply to hire for the dirty ditch-digging jobs and then promote internally. Men will either wake up or check out. Barbie will quit the first time she breaks a nail. Not hiring college grads for work not needing college education is also a good step. No questionnaire needed.

In fact, I accuse the list of being Boomer bait. It’s not offered in good faith. Questions #1-4 are mooted by future contract negotiations; bringing them up as screening questions is how one screens out strong negotiators who know to not commit themselves so early in the hiring process. Questions about guns & politics don’t screen out liberals; I have pictures of Antifa training camps to prove it. And some of these are outright childish, such as #11, #12, #20 and #28. I hope everybody’s answer to #26 was get the heck outta there instead of ambushing a random stranger because another random stranger told them to.

A third of the questions are already common, a third are of “Are you an emotionally unstable individual?” quality and a third are the sort of thing Tradcon Republicans tell themselves to get their dicks up enough for birthday sex. Suffice to say, the practical result of armed patriots’ fearless courage against evil is that yours truly can now use the ladies’ room at Burger King. I got no time for this kind of pretention and the fact that it’s gotten Kyle a free year on the conservative talk circuit tells me he really is a damn fine marketeer… but not a good hiring manager. Kyle is a fraud.

?Snowflake Test? weeds out ?whiny, needy, entitled little ...

Uncle Turtleboy Talks Hogg, Facebook, Guns With Kyle Reyes ...

CEO Kyle Reyes. Quite a change from the previous granite-face of Ret. Gen. McChrystal. He has the cutting eyelid on the right side of his face. Winged, rounded eyebrows like his–heavy on the inside, lightening on the outside–are “visionary” eyebrows, indicating a preference for beginning tasks rather than completing them. The reverse, “managerial” eyebrows thick at the outside and thin on the inside, indicate completing tasks over starting them… a good implementer, or manager, of a higher-up’s ideas.

He has a tribalist’s wide nostrils and no intelligence or determination lines on his face. (No intelligence lines means bad at complex topics, not a lack of wisdom or cunning. A quadlingual professional interpreter might have no intelligence (horizontal, parallel) lines on the forehead.) In the second picture, what straight man still wears a pink shirt? No chance his wardrobe is uninformed.

That half-beard screams lumbersexual but Reyes wears it better than most, so it’s a very deliberate attempt to display masculinity without actually having masculinity.

So, Reyes is a planner with poor followthrough, an emo dude projecting masculine confidence and a Machiavelli in the ways he interacts with the outside world.

Reyes is a confidence artist trolling his own customers with this Snowflake Test. He probably only made it publicly available because the scam’s profitability was dying off and now he’s off to some other get-rich-quick scheme. Marketing is a good fit for the con artist, where ego and show are more important than measurable performance.

Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal Cucks Out On America

Yet another of America’s leaders chooses to erase the South’s legacy because dem Evil Southerners were black-hearted slavers!

The Destruction of The United States Military | The Ole Squid

McChrystal’s physiognomy is what one would expect of a military commander. Aggression and concentration lines all over the forehead, small upper eyelids combined with flat lower eyelids for a very rational/impersonal perspective, expressionless low eyebrows that follow face contours, face is weathered and bony in place of the bloated indolence of too many Americans these days. Good jawline. His ears break the mold; those Dumbo-sized models indicate extreme nonconformity. Indeed, McChrystal had a reputation for speaking his mind. It got him both promoted and fired, as unpolished truths are wont to cause. I could trust a face like that to lead me in combat.

Alas, he threw that trust away along with his West Point keepsake, a picture of Robert E. Lee gifted to him by his young wife, because he’s newly ashamed that Lee “fought for slavery”. Perhaps he’s spent too much of retirement hanging around the Ivy Leagues; bad company corrupts good character, after all, and the mind goes soft with age.

Anyway, here’s McChrystal spouting the Leftoid party line in his own words:

At 63, I Threw Away My Prized Portrait of Robert E. Lee

I was raised to venerate Lee the principled patriot.but I want no association with Lee the defender of slavery.

by Stanley A. McChrystal

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/10/why-i-threw-away-my-portrait-robert-e-lee/573631/

On a Sunday morning in 2017 I took down his picture, and by afternoon it was in the alley with other rubbish awaiting transport to the local landfill for final burial. Hardly a hero’s end.

The painting had no monetary value; it was really just a print of an original overlaid with brushstrokes to appear authentic. But 40 years earlier it had been a gift from a young Army wife to her lieutenant husband when the $25 price (framed) required juggling other needs in our budget.

The dignified likeness of General Robert E. Lee in his Confederate Army uniform had been a prized possession of mine. I’d grown up not far from the Custis-Lee Mansion, and at West Point, Lee, the near-perfect cadet, Mexican War hero, academy superintendent, and, finally, the commander of the Confederacy’s Army of Northern Virginia, cast a long, ever-present shadow. Later, in Army quarters from Fort Benning, Georgia, to Fort Lewis, Washington, the painting reflected my fascination with leadership, and it spoke of duty and selfless service.

…A mythology grew around Lee and the cause he served. For many, Lee’s qualities and accomplishments, already impressive, gained godlike proportions. This was the Lee I first came to know: a leader whose flaws and failures were sanded off, the very human figure recast as a two-dimensional hero whose shadow had eclipsed the man from whom it came.

Two-dimensional heroes rarely capture the imagination… but they make great strawmen.

But as time passed, the myth was reexamined. The darker side of Lee’s legacy, and the picture in my office, now communicated ideas about race and equality with which I sought no association. Down it came.

Bookmark that. You’ll see it again, at the end.

At age 63, the same age at which Lee died, I concluded I was wrong.to some extent wrong about Lee as a leader, but certainly about the message that Lee as a symbol conveyed. And although I was slow to appreciate it, a significant part of American society, many still impacted by the legacy of slavery, had felt it all along.

That’s a lie. Nobody is still impacted by the “legacy of slavery”. It’s been 150 years; everybody who wants to let the past die already has. Everybody who doesn’t is a grievance-mongering parasite.

Most accounts of Lee as a man, and a leader.his physical presence, demeanor, valor, and apparent serenity.reflect almost quintessentially desirable leadership traits. But staring into a bright light makes it hard to see clearly. More than most, Lee is portrayed either in a glare of adulation or, more recently, under a dark cloud of disdain.

At West Point, Lee and the other Southern heroes became icons whom other cadets and I instinctively sought to emulate. In a painful contradiction, they also betrayed the oath we shared, took up arms against their nation, and fought to kill former comrades.all in the defense of a cause committed to the morally indefensible maintenance of slavery.

Another lie, which McChrystal will disprove himself later on. Lee left the USA military honorably as his competing loyalties were forced into confrontation. He changed uniforms with honor and for as long as he wore any particular uniform, he did right by it. Anybody who wants to claim Robert E. Lee was an oath-breaking traitor has a big hill of that’s bullshit to climb.

The death in 1857 of his wife’s father, George Washington Parke Custis, caused Lee to take extended leave from his unit in order to settle family affairs. That process involved more than executing Custis’s last will and testament. The slave-worked estates were poorly run and heavily in debt, and the professional soldier found himself in an active role within the landed, slave-owning gentry for which the South was known.

Lee.s own statements on slavery are conflicting, but his overall record is clear. Although he repeatedly expressed his theoretical opposition to slavery, he in fact reflected the conventional thinking of the society from which he came and actively supported the “peculiar institution” of slavery. Well before joining the Confederacy, Lee loathed abolitionists, and his feelings hardened as the Civil War dragged on.

The abolitionists wanted instant emancipation; most Southerners wanted to phase out slavery in order to prevent economic collapse. Tsar Alexander II’s disastrous emancipation of the serfs is relevant here.

From as far back as 1859, Lee’s personal treatment of slaves has been a public issue. Although accusations that he beat his slaves are impossible to prove after 150 years, their veracity is arguably beside the point. Lee was a willing and active participant in a society and economy that rested on slavery, and he fought ferociously to defend it. Lee was a Southerner, and efforts to depict him in opposition to slavery run contrary to his actions.

The veracity of accusations is NEVER beside the point and accusations that “are impossible to prove” are worthless. This kind of statement is far, far beneath a general of McChrystal’s background.

The road to America’s Civil War, and Lee’s fateful decision to join the Confederacy, was a long one. Pressure between the North and the South grew over decades, but the final straw for most in the Deep Southern states was the November 1860 election of the Republican candidate Abraham Lincoln of Illinois. For Lieutenant Colonel Robert E. Lee, then commanding the 2nd United States Cavalry Regiment at Fort Mason, Texas, the immediate challenge was to lead, and to carefully manage, a mass of officers and soldiers who were individually challenged to choose between loyalty to their state, their nation, and the new Confederacy that might arise. Outside events threatened to rupture long-held loyalties and produce an assault on the very premise upon which the United States had been created some eight decades earlier.

As I mentioned above, this is where McChrystal debunks his own accusation against Lee of oath-breaking and betrayal. Political forces beyond any one man’s control forced questions of loyalty that had not previously existed. There is no treachery in this.

As pressures mounted, Lee read Edward Everett’s The Life of George Washington as if for guidance from the nation’s first president, spending these months meditating on where his own obligations lay. Was his duty, as he had sworn, to the United States, or, more basically, to its Army? Or did he owe allegiance to older ties to his beloved Virginia and, if it should secede, to the South? For Lee, the choice could not have been entirely the product of political analysis; that’s not how he functioned. Family, friendships, and visceral ties to the land and society from which he came all entered the calculus.

As we today, living in the American Empire’s collapse, have learned, if the purpose of gov’t is not to protect our family, friends and visceral ties to the land then the purpose of gov’t is to rule us against our will for the benefit of foreigners.

The example set by Robert E. Lee has never been more important or relevant. That, I claim, is why McChrystal threw out his family heirloom. He didn’t want to be reminded of what America once was or the price that restoring America will be. Instead of following Lee’s example of taking up arms in defense of his home, Stanley McChrystal has decided to “Let the past die. Kill it if you must,” to quote a villain so lame I can’t remember his name.

From his earliest days, Lee’s conduct, his diligence, and his willing sacrifices were rooted in fulfilling responsibilities he set for himself, and in meeting the expectations of others. It was a persona he crafted carefully and projected intentionally. It was not a false depiction, but instead it was remarkably accurate in reflecting the very essence of the man. For Lee, the torture came when the institutions and values to which he felt obligations came into conflict. For the first time in his life, he could not simultaneously meet all the commitments he’d made. In simply tying his decision to the course chosen by his native Virginia, he essentially passed the most important moral decision of his life to the popular vote of others. Soon he would find himself supporting the greatest evil in American history, slavery, and not only opposing, but ultimately trying to destroy, some of the very institutions and ideas he’d held dear.

Lee tied his decision to his home and his people. Not to some poorly defined mob rule.

This isn’t about slavery or the Civil War. This is about Gen. McChrystal looking at today’s destruction of the American people, the American land, the American Church and the American way of life, and throwing out the memory of a man he once admired because he himself is now faced with the exact same decision… but unlike Lee, McChrystal has decided against protecting his people and lands.

Or as McChrystal said it, above: [the] picture in my office now communicated ideas about race and equality with which I sought no association. Down it came.

My Blog Is A Riot

Liberals can’t meme. They’re so busy trying to twist their enemies into attackable strawmen that they can’t understand idioms or metaphors. A case in point has come up in a tight campaign for Nevada’s governor.

Twitter Agog At Trump Whopper That Californians Are ‘Rioting’ Over Sanctuary Cities

https://www.yahoo.com/news/twitter-agog-trump-whopper-californians-055804686.html

President Donald Trump insisted Saturday at a Nevada campaign rally that Californians are “rioting” in protest of sanctuary cities.

No one knew what he was talking about.

Twitter was dumbfounded.

Detecting sarcasm… error. No sarcasm detected. Abort, Retry, Fail?

…Trump was stumping for Nevada GOP Sen. Dean Heller, and blasted both Waters and Heller’s Democratic rival in November’s election, Rep. Jacky Rosen, for their support of what he termed “deadly” sanctuary cities . municipalities where local officials don’t cooperate with federal authorities to deport undocumented immigrants.

.A lot of people in California don’t want. sanctuary cities, Trump said. .They’re rioting now; they wanna get out of their sanctuary cities … They’re demanding they be released from sanctuary cities.. (Check out the video above.)

No one’s rioting in California to escape sanctuary cities.

But they are trying to escape California so eagerly that moving van rental fees are triple the national average. Housing prices skyrocket wherever “huddled masses yearning to live on freebies” aren’t. A dozen local governments have formally opposed “sanctuary statehood”. And if the Leftoids haven’t heard us complaining about the tax rate, it’s only because they’re too busy spending the money.

Stunned Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale noted in a tweet that Trump is “now inventing nonexistent domestic riots..

Ted Westrup, a spokesman for California Gov. Jerry Brown (D), told Dale that “Trump and truth have long had a troubled relationship. These comments, frankly, don’t merit a response..

Other Twitter users were furious or stunned by Trump’s comments, while some expected nothing less from the president. Several tweets checked in from all over California with the exact same report: No riots.

No riots?

20 arrested after alt-right, antifa clash in Berkeley ahead of Charlottesville anniversary

Dueling demonstrations in Berkeley, Calif., by alt-right and antifa groups turned violent on Sunday afternoon, with the front of a U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office getting damaged in the exchange.

Twenty people were arrested, mostly for possessing banned weapons, according to a statement from the Berkeley Police Department.

“The lack of injuries is fortunate given that extremists threw explosives at Berkeley Police and Alameda County Sheriff’s Office mutual aid officers,” police wrote on Sunday.

One protester clad in black, considered a uniform for anti-fascist movement members commonly known as antifa, was recorded smashing the windows of a nearby Marine Corps recruiting post, Fox News first reported.

The original “No to Marxism in America 2/Exposing Communism” rally in Berkeley was organized by Amber Gwen Cummings, according to the Los Angeles Times. She arranged a similar event in August 2017. The counterprotest, called “Stop the Hate,” was supported by antifa groups like SAFEBay (Solidarity Against Fascism East Bay), the newspaper added.

OAKLAND . In a weekend tweet, Mayor Libby Schaaf threw her support behind a group of Uptown bars planning fundraisers in response to an alt-right group’s possible appearance Monday.

.We refuse to be intimidated and will not back down or stand by quietly as racist hate groups threaten violence and bring messages of hate to our neighbors,. Schaaf tweeted Sunday, linking to a post on Uptown Oakland bar Make Westing’s Facebook page.

In that post Friday evening, the bar said it had heard members of the alt-right group known as Proud Boys planned to meet Monday. In response, the bar said it would join neighboring establishments in a .pro-Oakland movement. to raise funds for causes like Black Lives Matter, Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Transgender Law Center.

Citing First Amendment rights, the Dixon City Council announced Tuesday at its meeting that it has decided against stripping Ted Hickman’s title as vice mayor after a controversial column he wrote in the town’s newspaper . calling for a Straight American Pride Month and using a derogatory term to refer to gay men . went viral.

Before the decision was announced, Randy Thomasson of Save California . a group that describes itself as a .pro-family organization: working, speaking and fighting the good fight for your values. . announced that he was going to speak at the meeting.

As a result, a small group of Hickman supporters and another, larger group of advocates for LGBTQ rights descended on the City Council meeting.

Berkeley: Alt right planning “anti communist” rally for Sunday, city braces for counter protest

4 August 2018

BERKELEY . The alt-right is planning an afternoon rally in Berkeley on Sunday and anti-fascist groups are organizing to meet them, but it was unclear Friday just how big the event will be.

Calling the rally “No To Marxism in Berkeley,. its organizer, Contra Costa County resident Amber Cummings, posted on Facebook that it will go on even as some far right groups have pulled out it recent days. No permit had been granted for the rally as of Friday.

.We will be having the event to expose Marxism as planned,. wrote Cummings, who could not be reached for comment on Friday. .There is certainly a communist agenda in Berkeley and the commies are not happy I’m coming to protest communism..

Anti-facist groups such as Berkeley Antifa are calling for counter rallies.

Berkeley city officials are preparing for whatever the event turns into. The city manager . under authority granted by an emergency ordinance passed earlier this week . is temporarily prohibiting sticks, pipes, poles, baseball bats, bricks, rocks, mace, knives and “anything else that can be used for a riot” from Civic Center and Ohlone parks as well as the areas between Sacramento Street, Piedmont Avenue, Dwight and Bancroft ways and Oxford Street between Dwight and Delaware, according to a news release issued Friday evening. Anyone caught with those items could be arrested.

Fearing violence, California lawmakers ask National Park Service to rescind permit for San Francisco ‘alt-right’ rally

15 August 2017

http://www.latimes.com/politics/essential/la-pol-ca-essential-politics-updates-fearing-violence-california-lawmakers-1502833242-htmlstory.html

Citing concern over violent clashes at a Charlottesville rally of white nationalists last weekend, a group of California lawmakers called Tuesday for the National Park Service to rescind a permit issued for a pro-Trump rally scheduled for Aug. 26 in San Francisco.

The conservative Patriot Prayer rallies have been organized by blogger Joey Gibson. He says he condemns white supremacists. but members of the white nationalist movement have spoken at and attended the rallies.

The event is scheduled at Crissy Field, a park popular with families and tourists, wrote three San Francisco Democrats, state Sen. Scott Wiener and Assemblymen Phil Ting, and David Chiu in a letter to the service.

.Allowing a likely violent rally of White Supremacists so close to all of this is of deep concern to us,. the trio wrote. .While we believe in the right to free speech and free assembly, we believe the National Park Service does not have the capacity to safely control this situation and therefore should not be issuing a permit for this rally at Crissy Field.. …

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco separately called Tuesday for the National Park Service to “reconsider” the permit for Crissy Field.

.San Francisco takes great pride in being a city of peace which cherishes free speech and the right to public dissent,” Pelosi said in a statement. “However, the National Park Service’s decision to permit a white supremacist rally at Crissy Field raises grave and ongoing concerns about public safety.”

Do Leftoids think we don’t read the news? Every time we organize something in meatspace, they yank our permits, pass emergency laws, doxx us with cameras and sic Antifa on us as a countermeasure, er, “counter-protest”. We don’t have the chance to riot. That’s Antifa’s shtick, anyway, or should I say, Antifa’s hammer vandalizing the USMC recruiting station pictured above.

No, the “riots” of law-abiding taxpayers are mostly held online and anonymously because Leftoids are such stalwart defenders of free speech(tm)(c)(R)(all rights reserved by SPLC). Which allows the Left to pretend aggressive stupidity when Trump says we law-abiders are completely fed up with our Jokers elected by feminazis and Hondurans.

At least, I think they’re pretending. They couldn’t possibly be this aggressively stupid in real life.

MGTOW Life: Charles Darwin’s Unnatural Selection

An obsessive list-maker, Darwin once weighed the pros and cons of marriage in his correspondence. Let’s see if the sexes have evolved since Victorian England!

From the book The Correspondence of Charles Darwin. / Volume 2, 1837-1843.

Marry

Children . (if it Please God) . Constant companion, (& friend in old age) who will feel interested in one, . object to be beloved & played with. . better than a dog anyhow.” Home, & someone to take care of house . Charms of music & female chit-chat. . These things good for one’s health. . but terrible loss of time. .

My God, it is intolerable to think of spending one’s whole life, like a neuter bee, working, working, & nothing after all. . No, no won’t do. . Imagine living all one’s day solitarily in smoky dirty London House. . Only picture to yourself a nice soft wife on a sofa with good fire, & books & music perhaps . Compare this vision with the dingy reality of Grt. Marlbro. St.

Children obviously and we today still get the “do you want to die alone?” line. Darwin thought female gossip was a benefit? “Better than a dog anyhow”, hah!

It is curious that Darwin thought the alternative to marriage was endless work. He refutes that himself twice, below. He must not have had any hobbies.

Not Marry

Freedom to go where one liked . choice of Society & little of it. . Conversation of clever men at clubs . Not forced to visit relatives, & to bend in every trifle. . to have the expense & anxiety of children . perhaps quarelling . Loss of time. . cannot read in the Evenings . fatness & idleness . Anxiety & responsibility . less money for books &c . if many children forced to gain one’s bread. . (But then it is very bad for ones health to work too much)

Perhaps my wife wont like London; then the sentence is banishment & degradation into indolent, idle fool .

Then as now, wives didn’t like their husbands having male spaces and were prone to “fatness & idleness”.

The question having been considered, the Father of Natural Selection proceeded to marry his first cousin. Thus proving that Darwin was neither MGTOW nor the Father of Healthy Genetics.

When? Soon or Late

The Governor says soon for otherwise bad if one has children . one’s character is more flexible .one’s feelings more lively & if one does not marry soon, one misses so much good pure happiness. .

But then if I married tomorrow: there would be an infinity of trouble & expense in getting & furnishing a house, .fighting about no Society “morning calls “awkwardness “loss of time every day. (without one’s wife was an angel, & made one keep industrious). Then how should I manage all my business if I were obliged to go every day walking with my wife. . Eheu!! I never should know French, .or see the Continent “or go to America, or go up in a Balloon, or take solitary trip in Wales “poor slave. .you will be worse than a negro . And then horrid poverty, (without one’s wife was better than an angel & had money) . Never mind my boy . Cheer up . One cannot live this solitary life, with groggy old age, friendless & cold, & childless staring one in ones face, already beginning to wrinkle. . Never mind, trust to chance “keep a sharp look out . There is many a happy slave .

Man, that’s depressing. Darwin went into marriage hoping to be a happy slave.

Nothing has changed.

Arch of Baal Displayed At Capitol Building During Kavanaugh Hearings

You didn’t see this on Fox News.

Kavanaugh Hearings: Ancient Arches, Child Sacrifice, and Roe v. Wade

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/20/palmyra-arch-syria-new-york

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, 9 October 2018

On September 26, a 20 foot-tall replica of Roman Victory Arch of Palmyra was unveiled for a three-day display on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The arch perfectly framed the Capitol Building where the next day, Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Though the arch and the Senate hearings seem disconnected, there may be an underlying nefarious synchronicity bringing the idolatrous roots of the arch to the political process going on nearby.

Representative Eliot Engel (Dem-NY) spoke at the arch’s unveiling ceremony, saying, .When you look at this beautiful arch, we are seeing through the eyes of ancient civilizations, and to have it right here, set against the classical columns of the Capitol, is really extraordinary..

Engel is also proud of many things including his efforts in pro-abortion legislation.

Engel is a homosexual Jewish gun-banner & abortionist. Nobody special.

.I am proud to be a member of the House Pro-Choice Caucus and to have a 100% voting record with the Planned Parenthood Action Fund,. Engel wrote on his website. .In addition, I was honored to receive the Congressional Defender of Women’s Rights Award from the Westchester Coalition for Legal Abortion..

The controversy surrounding Kavanaugh began well before Blasey Ford stepped forward, accusing him of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago. His nomination faced fierce opposition from the left-wing at the outset due to their fear that once he became a Supreme Court Justice, he would help overturn Roe v. Wade. Blasey Ford’s allegation was used as an opportunity to prevent this and as a result, Planned Parenthood advocated strongly for Ford.

It should be remembered that Palmyra, the home of the original arch for two millennia, was a major center for idolatry, specifically the worship of Ba.al, also known as Moloch. Mentioned more than 90 times in the Bible, most notably when Elijah defeated the priests of Ba.al in a contest to bring down fire from heaven to burn a sacrifice, Ba.al became the archetypical form of idol worship. Pantheistic, his adherents worshipped Mother Nature while denying the existence of a creator. Followers of Ba.al engaged in bisexual orgies and sacrificed human infants, burning them alive. Anthropologists conjecture that the child sacrifice was to cull the population after the inevitable outcome of wanton sexuality. …

The timing is probably coincidental but I couldn’t confirm how long it had been scheduled to appear.

.People think mankind has evolved and there is no connection between our world and what happened thousands of years ago,. [Rabbi Pinchas Winston] asserted. .This leads to a feeling of hopelessness, that life is meaningless. They don’t believe in the soul and they say the Bible is irrelevant. History becomes meaningless but a cursory look reveals that our world is uncannily similar to what happened in the Bible. The Bible gives a basic understanding of life..

Palmyra was dedicated in 32 CE to the worship of Bel. Lower levels of the ground underneath the Temple of Palmyra indicate human occupation that goes back to the third millennium BCE. Converted into a Christian church during the Byzantine Era, parts of the structure were modified into a mosque by Muslims in 1132. It remained in use as a mosque until the 1920s.

The original arch was destroyed by the Islamic State (ISIS) in October 2015, but one year later, the Institute for Digital Archaeology (IDA) used 3-D printing technology to reproduce a 20-foot full-scale replica. Before the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War in 2011, Palmyra was a popular tourist attraction, drawing 105,000 visitors a year.

The reappearance of the Arch of Palmyra has been accompanied by other startling cases of synchronicity that connect to its roots in idolatry. Its debut in April 2016 in Trafalgar Square, London for the UNESCO World Heritage Week coincided with Beltane, the primary festival for Ba.al, the pagan deity for which the Temple of Palmyra was constructed.

In addition to its association with idolatry, the recreated arch is emerging as a symbol for world government. Before its appearance in the U.S. capital, the replica arch was displayed in New York’s City Hall Plaza, London’s Trafalgar Square, the G7 Summit in Florence, and Dubai’s World Government Summit, attracting more than 10 million visitors.

The replica arch will next be reassembled in the Hague, the site of the Dutch Parliament and the UN.s International Criminal Court. The Hague is described as the City of Peace and Justice. Hosted by the Centre for Global Heritage and Development, the arch will be displayed adjacent to the ICC for one month beginning October 17. The Internet announcement of the exhibit describes the arch, a replica of the victory of Roman paganism, as .a symbol of cultural resilience. that will stand as an inspiration to the Netherland’s approximately 100,000 Syrian immigrants.

The IDA and UNESCO have paired up in other projects presenting symbols of idolatry. In November 2017, a statue of the pagan goddess Athena was reconstructed by the IDA and presented at an exhibit .The Spirit in the Stone,. at the United Nations. headquarters in New York City. The exhibit described Athena as “synonymous with reason, refuge and the rule of law, all of the same values on which that historic institution was built,. but the spear lying at the statue’s feet belied her more common association as the goddess of war. Some scholars believe the Greek goddess was based on the Mesopotamian goddess al-Lat.

I like the shadow descending on the Capitol’s dome. An ominous portent.

Replica of Syrian arch destroyed by Isis unveiled in New York City

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/20/palmyra-arch-syria-new-york

By Raya Jalabi, 20 September 2016

A recreation of Palmyra’s Arch of Triumph was unveiled in New York on Monday, almost a year after Islamic State militants destroyed the original structure.

The 1,800-year-old Roman arch was blown up by the extremist group last October, but a team of archeologists at Oxford University’s Institute for Digital archeology (IDA) set about recreating it, in an act of resistance to Isis’s rampant acts of cultural destruction in Iraq and Syria.

Standing at two-thirds the scale of the original, the arch is made of Egyptian marble and was built using 3D printing technology, based on photographs of the original arch. …

The arch historically served as the entrance to the … Temple of Baal, which was then converted to a Christian church and finally, a mosque.

When the Muslims murdered & enslaved the Christians of ancient Syria.

First put on display in Trafalgar Square in London last April, it will stay at City Hall park for one week, before moving to its next destination, Dubai.

The 11-tonne arch was placed in the small park directly outside of New York’s city hall, in the heart of the financial district. The park is usually occupied by tourists visiting city hall and the nearby World Trade Center memorial and office workers on their lunch breaks. The arch is not roped off, allowing visitors to walk under it and touch it.

A recreation of the Palmyra arch, a Roman arch destroyed by Isis, goes on display at City hall Park in New York

I avoided the more sensationalist reporting. Digitally preserving monuments is fine but this is… of interest. After seeing the witches of Congress give public invitations to let’s-hex-Kavanaugh parties, plausibility is stretched and limber. On that note, the article continues:

In a recent statement, Roger Michael, the Executive Director of the IDA, drew parallels between the destruction of Palmyra’s landmarks and the violence that has marred London and New York’s landscape.

.It is our hope that the arch, itself an icon of destruction and rebirth, will remind visitors of both the universality of suffering and the indomitable human capacity to rebuild what has been lost..

In the context of the imminent, global economic collapse, that’s totally not a disturbing sentiment. Not at all.

The IDA.s dedication to preservation, means it ultimately intends to return the arch to Palmyra.

At the unveiling, deputy mayor Alicia Glen said, the arch “was a symbol that we will not stand for acts of terrorists, we will not stand to have people murdered and thrown out of their countries..

Just two days earlier, there was a bombing in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood injuring 29 people. .What could be more appropriate than to have this symbol of freedom in front of City Hall, so close to where we had our own challenges,. Glen added.

I have closure on that bombing:

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/13/us/rahimi-sentence-chelsea-bomber/index.html

New York (CNN)Convicted New York City bomber Ahmad Khan Rahimi was sentenced to multiple life sentences in prison by a federal judge on Tuesday.

Rahimi, 30, was previously found guilty of eight federal charges in connection with a September 2016 bombing that injured 30 in the Chelsea neighborhood.

“The nature of the crime was heinous, wanton and life-threatening … it’s inexplicable that anyone would do that intentionally,” said US District Judge Richard Berman.

Rahimi, a Muslim who federal prosecutors say attempted to radicalize other jail inmates while awaiting sentencing, also was ordered to pay about $563,000 to victims.

Rahimi spoke to the judge, saying he didn’t come from Afghanistan as a child with hate in his heart.

“I grew up amongst you guys, when I started following (my religion), practicing it. That’s when I started” noticing discrimination, Rahimi said in his emotionless five-minute statement. He became a naturalized US citizen in 2011.

Rahimi talked about being targeted for being a Muslim, mentioning he was always picked out in airports by security.

Sudden Jihad Syndrome. He got tired of airport security looking twice at “Akmed son of Mohammed” so he blew up 30 people to prove them wrong. “I plead not guilty. The infidel looked at me funny while eating a ham sandwich.” (not a real quote)

Francis Cissna Takes On Big Tech H1bbies

He’s the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the agency regulating lawful immigration into the USA. Among other duties, Cissna oversees the H1b “Subcomtinental Hindu Indians who can’t speak English are White Bread Americans, too” program. Not the sort of official you often see in the news and that’s theoretically a good thing; it’s the duty of bureaucrats like him to implement policy, not dictate policy.

Kudos to Cissna, he’s been implementing some Trump into the butthurt backsides of Big Tech.

Bay Area tech CEOs say immigration policies, H-1B plans are undermining growth

https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/08/23/bay-area-tech-ceos-say-immigration-policies-h-1b-plans-are-undermining-growth/

By Ethan Baron, 23 August 2018

Technology executives, including Apple CEO Tim Cook and Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff . have urged the government to back off on tightening immigration policies for foreign workers following aggressive talk from the nation’s immigration chief.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration director Francis Cissna, talking to a group pushing for reductions in numbers of foreign workers and immigrants, cited “all sorts of fraud and abuse” in the H-1B program that many Silicon Valley companies rely on for highly skilled workers and “across all these programs..

The H-1B visa, intended for foreign workers doing specialized jobs has become a flashpoint in the immigration debate, with firms arguing it should be expanded beyond the annual 85,000 new visas so they can acquire the world’s top talent, and critics pointing to reported abuses and asserting the visa is used to replace Americans with cheaper, foreign workers.

The critics are right. Come on, which nation leads in top-talent tech? USA. But if you need numbers:

H1B 2016

I don’t call Subcontinental Indians H1bbies for nothing.

Cissna said he wanted elected representatives to take action on the H-1B.

.I would really love it if Congress would just pass a one-sentence provision that would just prohibit American workers in being replaced by H-1B workers,. Cissna said in a talk last week to the Center for Immigration Studies, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

People trying to “game” the immigration system is an “eternal problem” for officials, he said.

Cissna outlined actions his agency has taken . some to satisfy President Donald Trump’s call for better screening of immigrants, he said . to crack down on potential abuse of the immigration system. Citizenship and Immigration has expanded visits to sites where workers on H-1B and other visas are employed, for example “to see if the worker is really there, to see if the business really exists,. he said.

That is an abominably low standard of compliance.

The agency also changed tactics in checking up on immigrants. claims, interviewing more people on employment-based green cards after historically focusing on those with marriage-based green cards, Cissna said.

Heh, fish don’t need bicycles to get into America anymore. Employment is easier to enforce than marriage anyway. Do thirsty Betas still marry foreign wimminz? A useful source of data: DHS Yearbook of Immigration Statistics

https://www.dhs.gov/immigration-statistics/yearbook

Persons Obtaining Lawful Permanent Resident Status by… Spouses

2017: 292,909

2016: 304,358

2015: 265,367

2014: 238,852

2013: 248,332

2012: 273,429

Hmm, this is a small sample size but the thirst for foreign brides slowly dropped until Trump arrived on the political scene.

Just over a week after Cissna’s speech, 60 CEOs from a lobbying group called the “Business Roundtable. . including Apple’s Cook, Salesforce’s Benioff, Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins, IBM CEO Ginni Rometty, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and Francisco D.Souza, CEO of leading U.S. outsourcing firm Cognizant . wrote to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen to express “serious concern about changes in immigration policy that are causing considerable anxiety for many thousands of our employees while threatening to disrupt company operations,. according to a report Thursday.

U.S. businesses employing foreign workers have been scrambling to push back against changes to U.S. immigration policy that have flowed from Trump’s April 2017 “Buy American and Hire American” executive order.

https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2017/04/21/2017-08311/buy-american-and-hire-american

Executive Order 13788 of April 18, 2017

Sec. 2. Policy. It shall be the policy of the executive branch to buy American and hire American. …

(b) Hire American. In order to create higher wages and employment rates for workers in the United States, and to protect their economic interests, it shall be the policy of the executive branch to rigorously enforce and administer the laws governing entry into the United States of workers from abroad, including section 212(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(5)).

Relevant portion of said 8 USC 1182a5:

In general

Any alien who seeks to enter the United States for the purpose of performing skilled or unskilled labor is inadmissible, unless the Secretary of Labor has determined and certified to the Secretary of State and the Attorney General that.

(I) there are not sufficient workers who are able, willing, qualified (or equally qualified in the case of an alien described in clause (ii)) and available at the time of application for a visa and admission to the United States and at the place where the alien is to perform such skilled or unskilled labor, and

(II) the employment of such alien will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of workers in the United States similarly employed.

That explains the “jobs Americans don’t want to do” rhetoric. The betrayers can’t argue that Americans are unable or unqualified to do typical H1bbie work so they complain we aren’t willing. At their offered wages & working conditions, few people with a choice would be.

Back to the main article.

The CEOs attacked what they called “inconsistent government action and uncertainty,. saying it “undermines economic growth and American competitiveness and creates anxiety for employees who follow the law,. according to Fortune, which published a copy of the letter.

The letter also contained a warning about the administration’s proposed work prohibition for spouses of H-1B holders.

.These spouses are often highly skilled in their own rights and have built careers and lives around their ability to contribute to companies here,. the CEOs said. .Other countries allow these valuable professionals to work, so revoking their U.S. work authorization will likely cause high-skilled immigrants to take their skills to competitors outside the United States..

Shameless lying. Men marry down, women marry up. That is normal human behavior. The corporate scientist does not fall in love with the boardroom shark.

Inconsistency on immigration policy will deter foreign citizens from attempting to move to the U.S., the CEOs wrote.

.Few will move their family and settle in a new country if, at any time and without notice, the government can force their immediate departure . often without explanation,. they said in the letter. “As the federal government undertakes its legitimate review of immigration rules, it must avoid making changes that disrupt the lives of thousands of law-abiding and skilled employees, and that inflict substantial harm on U.S. competitiveness..

They are not supposed to settle here with their families. H1b is supposed to be a TEMPORARY work visa. Not a path to citizenship!

In his talk, Cissna suggested a more comprehensive immigration crackdown is coming.

.On the things we’re doing on H-1Bs and all that, the worker visas, we haven’t really done that much yet,. Cissna said. More investigative interviews are “almost certainly” on the horizon, he indicated.

.It.s kind of remarkable that you could have somebody come to the country, get a student visa . say they come over as a tourist. Then they change to a student visa. Then they study for four years. Then they get a master’s degree. So they’re six years. Then they get an H-1B, and that’s another three years. Then they get another extension and another three,. he said, then added that such a person could also receive an Optional Practical Training work permit along the way allowing for up to three additional years of work.

.So you could have a person here for a dozen years and we never talk to them,. he said. .I don’t think that’s prudent..

Hot damn, a Federal bureaucrat who cares about doing his job right. There’s going to be more of that attitude, too, as the Commiefornia Deep State intentionally runs foul of the Federal Deep State. I’m not using hyperbole when I say Sacramento & friends’ insistence on mass immigration at all costs had already led them to openly defy and sabotage Federal border control efforts, obstruct federal law enforcement from performing their primary duties and seek political and economic ties with foreign powers considered by the Federal gov’t to be urgent national security threats. That threatens the power bases of many little fiefdoms and thus far, only Trump Derangement Syndrome is preventing a massive bureaucratic backlash.

Dem Boomers

By Lissandra Villa, 15 October 2018

WASHINGTON . Ambitious, young House Democrats have a problem: At a time when the party is calling for generational change, there are few opportunities to advance.

Leadership has long been static for Democrats in the House. Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Jim Clyburn, the top three Democrats, respectively, have all been at the top of the House Democratic ladder for more than a decade. And none have shown any signs of leaving; Pelosi has said she expects to be speaker if Democrats retake the House in November.

GOP takes aim at Crumbs Pelosi with new bill thatâ??ll put ...

Nancy Pel-Zombie. I feel better about those fat Congressional pensions, seeing how few of our Congressional liches are willing to actually use them. Looks like they simply didn’t want to risk trusting their families to care for them in old age.

That stagnation has some Democrats worried that their caucus is bleeding talent, and it has left two options for the party’s rising stars . try to work their way up outside of the traditional leadership structure or head for the exits. .

The House of Representatives has always been seen as a training ground for higher office, and it’s hardly surprising that members would leave for positions where they could punch higher at a time when Republicans control Congress and the White House. And while the number of Democrats exiting the House this year isn’t much different than in previous congresses, the departure of some of the caucus’s rising stars is particularly striking at a time when Democrats may be poised to win back the House in 2018.

This cycle, Reps. Beto O.Rourke, Jacky Rosen, and Kyrsten Sinema are all running for Senate seats. Reps. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Jared Polis, and Tim Walz are running for governor in their states. Rep. Keith Ellison, the number two official at the Democratic National Committee, is seeking the Minnesota attorney general position (a decision he announced months before an ex-girlfriend accused him of abuse). Rep. Colleen Hanabusa also made an unsuccessful bid for a gubernatorial seat. Rep. John Delaney is running for president.

New York Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney also took a stab at becoming New York attorney general, but is running for reelection to his House seat after losing that primary.

Those departures come after two lower-level members of House leadership, who were seen as potential heirs apparent, also left the House. Chris Van Hollen ran for Senate in 2016 and won, while Xavier Becerra left the House in January 2017 for a post as California’s attorney general.

Sigh, hopes dashed. Hopes for that magical .I.m leaving politics to try my hand at honest work. oh God, what have I done to my country?. moment of clarity. Instead, Democrat Representatives are.the horror.leaving their junior coffee-fetcher offices in Congress to be senior executives at the state level. Exactly what any of us would do in their position. It’s no loss to the Party if a rising star spends a term or two as California’s Attorney Fricking General. Why is this Buzzfeed twat wasting our time with this story?

Politics 101: Absent a big scandal, incumbents win reelection 90% of the time. It’s a huge advantage. The problem with all these sitting Reps leaving the House is the Dems can’t run an incumbent for that seat, which in turn means they have to thwart the Trumpslide in a fair contest.

Yep. Trump Derangement Syndrome again.

Also, old-guard Democrats believe in totalitarian control of society. Their vision for the future is that state governments will be merely the implementers (and probably fundraisers) for the grand Utopian visions of Elites so old that they might have been in the mob that crucified Jesus. From that perspective, losing control of Congress to gain control of ten state governments is a net loss. The new guard believes in identity politics and from that perspective, local control is preferable to distant control.

Dems have long been the Party of Greed. How fitting that in their last desperate grab for centralized control of USA, many of its members have put their personal agendas before that of the Party Necromancers whose only use for allies is headcount at voting time.

So, not an interesting article. But VD.s blog comments have some gold to be mined. Just semi-random thoughts on Boomerism and the direction of the working world.

I.m surprised they haven’t gone full on head-in-a-jar yet, because if anybody would do that it would be the Boomers.

More likely, the Deep State would suppress the death reports, embalm the bodies and apply robotics to create a literal puppet government. Remember Hillary’s seizures? That reeked of beta testing and formaldehyde.

24. DonReynolds October 16, 2018 12:10 PM
For most of my lifetime, we used to point and snicker at the ruling Soviet Politburo, because their average age was…gasp..about 70. That was supposed to be a valid criticism. (Hillary Clinton will turn 71 a week from Friday.)

You can compare that to Japan where the MANDATORY retirement age is 55!

27. kurt9 October 16, 2018 12:13 PM
As some else pointed out here, a lot of these 60.s ex-hippy types are actually late silents (born around 1940), not boomers, although the boomers followed them right over the edge. So these people are actually in their late 70.s. Nancy Pelosi is definitely experiencing age-related cognitive decline.

The thing about these people is that they are second-raters (the FDR New Deal Democrats were first-raters) and we know from the .Entrepreneur’s Manual. (Richard M. White) that second-rates tend to hire third-raters (guys like Keith Ellison) because they do not want to hire anyone competent enough to threaten their own job security.

This is why the Democratic party reads like its from the Onion these days.

29. kurt9 October 16, 2018 12:18 PM
The other factor is that, starting in 1993, the Clintons treated the party as there own personal fiefdom. They tended to purge anyone competent in a very Stalinesque fashion because they did not want any possible competition to Hillary to emerge in the party. This, combined with the narcissism of the 60.s generation as well as them being second-raters hiring third-raters, is the reason why the Democratic party is in such disarray these days.

Obama made it in .08 partly because he created his own organization outside the party and because he was the ideal minority dream candidate that the left has dreamed about for 2 generations.

It baffles me why these Boomers continue to hold on the way they do.

Just look at Rex Tillerson. The man is well into his older years, but before he got tapped for Sec of State, he was the CEO of a huge corporation and had been for years.

He.s just one example. Look at the CEOs at a lot of the major corps. in the US. These guys are elderly, yet are still dragging themselves out of bed every day, putting on a suit, and going off to work.

How much more money do these people need? Enjoy yourselves, Boomers. You’re not going to live forever.

It.s undeniably true that Boomers refuse to retire even when they can easily afford to and refuse to train their replacements, preferring to hire total incompetents from attractive young girls (understandable) to Third Worlders who don’t even speak English (utterly inexplicable). I don’t have a theory on why they feel so insecure; it was, until Carter, a great time to be alive. I can only point out Boomers were the first to grow up with television and the Church silently died during their youth. Also, this comment:

81. berb2000 October 16, 2018 2:55 PM
I suppose my only idea of boomers is my parents and their buddies. When I look back at how I was raised I think the main thing that aggravates me is how all the women seemed to degrade their husbands at every turn. It was like a “thing” for women in the 1970.s. Then most of them would get hateful when their husbands stepped out on them or turned into drunks or whatever. I am not so sure that it is a total boomer issue as it is feminist hijacking so many minds and trying to recreate nature with false narratives. My dad always spent as much time as he could with my sister and I while he worked his ass off building F-4.s to kill communist in Vietnam. My mom stayed in bed when she wasn’t working and complained about everything all the god damn time. She has since reverted to reality and is loving and a very good woman, but man for my childhood she was a pain in the ass.

In Scripture, the best way to corrupt Israel was to corrupt the women first. Female Boomerism is probably the place to look, for researchers more savvy about women than me.

49. Richard Holmes October 16, 2018 1:00 PM
Back in the 60.s, the saying was “Never trust anyone over 30.. Just add 50 years to that, and that’s what the boomers are saying now.

Yeah, I know. I am a late boomer. I have never said that stuff. I never bought into their BS. But I have been blamed for everything they did. Perhaps I could have done something. I wonder if anyone who has had computers and internet their entire life understand that we really wasn’t exposed to the baby boomer bs like they were in the 90.s and later. I was taught to stay away from they hippies, my friends and I considered them very bad. We were actually scared of them. We got our modern information from the 5 o clock news. And 75% of the time we were too busy to watch it.

I am unsure how to take this boomer bashing. I agree with it, but I’m a target. I wouldn’t mind being a target if I bought into their BS. I don’t know what to do about it. Maybe I can.t. No one under 40 trusts me. Heh, ironic eh?

60. Damelon Brinn October 16, 2018 1:19 PM
I am unsure how to take this boomer bashing. I agree with it, but I’m a target.

The key is to avoid solipsism and realize that you are not the same as a group you happen to be in, so when the group is criticized, you as an individual are not the “target.” Whether the criticism applies to *you* should be completely separate from whether it’s true of the group. This seems nearly impossible for Boomers to do, but it’s worth a try.

If you criticize Xers, on the other hand, the loudest agreement will come from other Xers. That’s probably not the best way to be either, but at least it’s not Boomer.

I face this challenge myself, being a Californian. Too many Netizens can’t believe there are still nice spots & people in it.

58. Azimus October 16, 2018 1:18 PM
The real problem with the boomers is that they didn’t breed. I am in SE Wisconsin, and EVERY manufacturing plant is experiencing catastrophic turnover with no backbench in the next 5-10yrs. A little more than half my plant’s workforce is Boomer, almost 3/4 of the skill positions. There is no one out there to replace them except revolving door blockheads. The best recruits we’re getting right now are from Venezuela in terms of employable, good attendance hard working good attitude . but they speak 50-100 words of English. It’s a tough time and we’re begging the boomers to stay longer because, basically, they aborted or failed to appropriately raise their children and there’s no one to replace them with.

63. Lurker October 16, 2018 1:28 PM
.The real problem with the boomers is that they didn’t breed..

The ones that made it, (Xers) raised themselves.

.A little more than half my plant’s workforce is Boomer.

And still not mentoring. Big surprise! But plenty of time for vacations and ignoring the grandkids.

Refineries are the same way. Lots of turnover, with a gap where the next generation of workers should be. Engineers, technicians, etc. The problem doesn’t exist in midstream and upstream, though, because unions dont really exist in those segments of oil and gas. Refineries are old guard, hidebound, and ossified places. Midstream and upstream are more flexible and open to new ideas and ways of doing things. Lots of young guys there too.

Me, I wanted in. I tried to get in. I did all that was asked of me. I was unwanted by my own people and the realization scarred me for life. Now that I managed to become a peer of my industry’s leaders, I believe the schizophrenics are on to something with their idea that most people have behavior-controlling microchips in their brains. Industry leaders simply WILL NOT STOP hiring women and minorities. They won’t even talk about it and the times I forced the issue, I saw fear and frustration. The laws aren’t making them do it. Something else is, something they don’t understand and can’t control.

Original Sin is a Hellish mindfuck.

None of those old Women’s Libbers will willingly give up a shred of personal power.

Nancy Pelosi should have stepped aside years ago and she won’t until she’s either did or loses a primary.

DiFi, is nearly senile but she won’t give up her seat in the Senate without someone getting out the pliers and prying her claws out of it. She may have just thrown the election is her quest to stay in the Senate.

Then there is .It’s My Turn. Hillary. A woman who should have accepted the judgement of her nation and retired from public life. She’s still portraying herself as the leader of the opposition despite the fact that the rank and file wish to god she would just shut up and go away.

When it comes to these old Women’s Lib types, power is the all and the everything. It’s nearly a pathological obsession for them.

If you ever study female serial killers, you will see a variant on this need. It’s all about power there too. Male serial killers hunt but females gather.

99. Azure Amaranthine October 16, 2018 4:14 PM
.When it comes to these old Women’s Lib types, power is the all and the everything. It’s nearly a pathological obsession for them..

That.s more or less the definition of a witch.

As a true-crime aficionado, I haven’t really seen this. Serial killing tend to follow sexual behavior: males prefer to kill total strangers and females kill as part of serial monogamy. But the insight is intriguing.

The U.S. Army (and i.m sure the other services, too) teach the following:

If you’re not teaching those behind you how to fill your shoes, you’re failing at your job.

What happens if you get hit by a bus tomorrow? If you haven’t prepared at least 2 people to step up, you’re not doing your part to continue the organization.

[@Dirk Manly,]

That.s military service. They pay you to do that and you get a pension.

Nobody said you have to train foreigners who aren’t supposed to even be here in the first place.

What happened bus that apprenticeships and trade schools were destroyed.

I have spent the last two.decades training the next generation. All that time I have been fighting bean counters who don’t care about sustainability.

Globalisation and managerialism have a lot to answer for.

Which is why I back the alt right.

A good exchange. Any highly skilled worker who doesn’t train the next generation is either a schizoid [extremely limited introvert] or heartless. One of Christ’s main examples was discipleship; that is not only for Church leadership.

It.s a sore spot with me. I have a long list of certifications and skills that I’ve been “educated” repeatedly yet I can’t do them in actual practice. I would be better off in ignorance than having a head full of untethered factoids. Book learning is no replacement for mentorship. In turn, mentorship is apparently no replacement for short-sighted returns on investment.

Aromantic Women

If your read “aromatic women” then I did, too. But no, this is the new, exciting female equivalent to incel! Fire up the hamster translator and put another A on the LGBTXYZFAQ because “not tonight, dear, I have a headache” is the latest sexual orientation. From the Huffington Post by way of Instapundit:

What It Means To Be ‘Aromantic,’ According To Aromantic People

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/what-does-it-mean-to-be-aromantic_n_5bb501cee4b01470d04de20d

I swear I get a banner ad for Pepto-Bismol just for linking this.

Having crushes, dating and falling in love may seem like universal human experiences, but that’s not the case for everyone. People who identify as aromantic . or “aro” for short . don’t experience romantic attraction and generally aren’t interested in romantic relationships.

Neither do “fuck her & chuck her” PUAs. Is this a counter-revolutionary “fuck him & chuck him” movement? N count overflow error!

While some people identify as both aromantic (not feeling romantic attraction) and asexual (not feeling sexual attraction), the two don’t necessarily go hand in hand. Some people are asexual but not aromantic, while others are aromantic but not asexual.

This is beginning continuing to sound made up.

Aromanticism exists on spectrum, and individual experiences vary from person to person. There’s no agreed-upon definition of what does or does not constitute romance. For example, some people might consider making out to be sexual, others might consider it romantic, and that can change depending on the circumstances.

Damn the sample size, all aromantics are females. This is so Barbie that I can’t even. Only women can think that circumstances define whether making out is sexual.

.Many aromantic people are mocked as losers, people that can’t get a date, or haven’t met the right person yet, but that’s not the case,. Lee said. “Aromanticism is a valid orientation, not something to be cured or shrugged off..

Claiming victimhood a little too early there, tits. This sounds a lot like the stereotypical incel complaint but credit to the incel community, they don’t call it a sexual orientation or find a way to claim social status with it. So, how does this “female incel”-ish thingie work?

To learn more about what it means to be aromantic, we asked three people who identify that way . illustrator Kotaline Jones [real name Lydia Nguyen, a cartoonist and 3 of 10] and Jenny W. and Milly R., admins for the Instagram account @justaroacethings . to tell us about their own experiences.

When and how did you realize you were aromantic?

Milly: I began to identify as asexual when I was 16 and first heard the term, but it never clicked that I was aromantic as well. I knew I felt some connection to aromanticism but I denied that feeling. It was hard, and took a few months to realize, but when I finally accepted that I was aromantic, I broke down and cried. I was 18. I’d never had crushes and felt uncomfortable in romantic relationships, but it still felt like something had been stolen from me. That promise of a future with true love and marriage and a fairy tale ending was suddenly gone, even though I still wanted it.

Translation: “I’m so ugly that I’ll never attract a husband!” A 16-18yo girl who never got hit on realizes her sexual orientation is not attracting male attention.

Jenny: I started to consider that I might be aromantic earlier this year when I found @justaroacethings on Instagram. I was 18 at the time and have since turned 19. I already knew I was asexual, and I was aware of what “aromantic” meant, but I hadn’t looked into it further. I had assumed it was a term that didn’t apply to me because I had been in romantic relationships before and thought that meant I must have experienced romantic attraction. However, I read practically every post by @justaroacethings and followed lots of similar accounts, so I eventually began to notice that I related to the posts about aromanticism, as well as the ones about asexuality.

This girl at the peak of her sexual attractiveness, defines her personality by not doing anything to lock down a husband. Is she ugly too or are bitter spinsters putting whispers in her head? No, not a spinster… Instagram.

GunnerQ: When I ate a bad can of chili on a camping trip.

Just checking your attention. The word count was probably a giveaway. I can’t stop reading it as “aromatic”.

What does being aromantic mean to you?

Kotaline: I don’t really think I have a right to define being aromantic broadly, but my experience with aromanticism is that I just don’t really have a drive to pursue a relationship with another person or even imagine a future relationship. I don’t want a romantic partner, I haven’t felt romantically attracted to another person for years, and it’s not really a big deal for me.

Thank God women didn’t write the dictionary. They don’t have the right!

Jenny: To me, being aromantic means freedom, as terribly cliche as that sounds. Growing up, we’re all told that we’ll one day fall in love, move in with a romantic partner, get married, have children, etc. That’s what I was told by everyone around me, so it’s what I learned to expect and I never really questioned it. But since realizing I’m aromantic, I’ve realized that’s not what I want and it never has been. It was merely what I expected of me. I am free to decide what my future looks like, rather than getting into relationships I don’t want simply because I feel obliged to.

Freedom from the expectations of men, she means. Does Jenny have a trust fund or an overprotective father? It isn’t healthy, emotionally or physically, for a young woman to not want a husband.

Are you interested in being in a relationship or partnership now or in the future?

Jenny: I’ve realized that I don’t want romantic relationships, but personally, I do still want a committed relationship, specifically a queer/quasi-platonic relationship or QPR. A QPR is a companionate relationship with a commitment level similar to that of a romantic relationship, but it is different from the typical romantic/sexual relationship. A QPR is defined by it’s lack of “traditional” romantic expectations, and can involve as many or as few sexual or romantically coded activities as the partners choose, depending on what they’re comfortable with.

Jenny doesn’t know what platonic means. No possible, legitimate definition of quasi-platonic relationship can involve “many sexual or romantically coded activities.”

Have you been in relationships in the past?

Kotaline: I really have always preferred to be alone… [141 words to the contrary omitted]

Kotaline is physically ugly.

But instead of developing a redeeming personality, she discovered her aromatic side. Er, aromantic.

HAHAHAHAAAAAA! Barbie would be MISERABLE! is she lowered her standards so she wouldn’t end up alone! By the way, Kotaline is a published cartoonist. She could attract a nerd with no difficulty despite being a 3 out of 10.

Jenny: [I’m only romantic when I’m in the mood. 124 redundant words omitted.]

So much for this being a sexual orientation.

Do you still enjoy rom-coms, romantic books and love songs?

Kotaline: I definitely still enjoy romantic media! [55 words omitted]

Hypocrisy. It’s all about the girl’s attitude towards men. Women don’t want to be playful, kindhearted, interested in us. Why bother? The government gives these females all the resources they want and their youth gives them all the attention they want, so they don’t need to give men a second thought except as a hobby. Until the Wall ends the attention and easy cash and they discover true misery in the form of bitter spinsterhood.

Milly: …I once waited a month before I finally liked romance enough to enjoy “To All the Boys I Loved Before..
